Raul Neto (groin) will not play against the Kings on Wednesday.
He suffered the injury on Monday during his 18 minutes against the Pelicans. With him and George Hill (groin) out, Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack figure to split the minutes at the point. Most fantasy owners may want to steer clear here on a 10-game night. Mar 29 - 2:55 PM

Raul Neto scored a season-high 10 points in 14 minutes on Wednesday, going 4-of-4 from the field with two 3-pointers and one assist.

Dante Exum has been unimpressive lately, so coach Quin Snyder rolled with Neto as his primary backup PG tonight. The veteran made the most of the opportunity, knocking down some easy looks from the corner for his first double-digit scoring performance since Mar. 17 last season.

Raul Neto did not score in 14 minutes against the Mavs on Friday, adding three assists, two steals and one turnover.

As it stands right now, Neto is the No. 2 point guard behind George Hill. Although, the Jazz are going zero-PG more these days. There's no need to add Neto, of course.
Jan 21 - 3:12 AM

Raul Neto has been sent down to the D-League.

The D-League is the only place Neto can earn meaningful minutes while the point guards in Utah are healthy. Leave him on the wire.
Jan 9 - 2:27 PM

Raul Neto did a whole lot of nothing in Brazil's 111-107 loss to Argentina on Saturday, finishing with three points, four assists and three turnovers on 0-of-4 shooting.

Neto is buried on Utah's reconfigured depth chart at the point guard position, so there really isn't a need to be targeting him on draft day.

Raul Neto came off the bench behind Shelvin Mack on Tuesday vs. the Rockets and played just eight minutes, finishing with one assist and one board.

Not only did Mack take his spot, but Trey Burke took over the backup PG role and Neto didn't see the court after the half. He wasn't relevant in most fantasy leagues as a starter, so it's safe to drop Neto everywhere.

Raul Neto will come off the bench on Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

Shelvin Mack will replace him in the first unit and is expected to be the starter going forward. Neto has season averages of just 6.2 points and 2.5 assists, so he isn't worth owning in most leagues anyways. He will now be competing with Trey Burke for the backup PG role.

Quin Snyder said the Jazz have not had any "consistency" at the point guard position this season.

Snyder is stating the obvious, but Utah was headed for this route after Dante Exum tore his ACL during the offseason. After acquiring Shelvin Mack at the trade deadline, Raul Neto's role—and perhaps his starting job—is up in the air. Of the two, Mack is the more appealing fantasy asset moving forward.

Raul Neto started Sunday's game vs. Portland but he finished with just four points, one rebound and two turnovers in 10 minutes.

Shelvin Mack dominated the PG position tonight, in his Jazz debut, which doesn't bode well for Neto's starting job going forward. Neto hasn't been a fantasy asset outside of the very deepest leagues this season, so his declining playing time shouldn't impact any lineups.

Raul Neto scored 15 points on 5-of-5 from the field with three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.

Not bad. Neto is still likely going to lose some run with Shelvin Mack expected to hop in the rotation. Neto's usage rate is too low and he doesn't do enough in most leagues to pick up.

Raul Neto scored two points with four rebounds and four turnovers in 21 minutes against the Wizards on Thursday.

He might actually lose his starting job to Shelvin Mack and he might drop below 20 minutes per game. Neto obviously has low per-minute output and can be placed on the wire in almost all leagues.

Raul Neto played a career-high 37 minutes on Saturday vs. the Suns, scoring 13 points with four assists, two boards, one steal and one 3-pointer.

The rookie got some extended run since Trey Burke didn't travel due to an illness, so owners shouldn't overreact to the big minutes. Burke is day-to-day and Alec Burks (ankle) will steal some of his minutes when he returns after the All-Star break, so Neto is only worth a look in very deep leagues for owners in need of short-term help.

Raul Neto scored a career-high 14 points against the Bulls on Monday with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

It's also just the second time in his career with more than 30 minutes. He actually gave Derrick Rose the business and showed more assertiveness in this big win. He'll obviously need to do it a few more times to garner the attention in fantasy leagues.

Utah coach Quin Snyder praised rookie Raul Neto after Friday's win over the Wolves.

"He's understanding what the guys need and assuming the role of the guy who's getting them the ball," Snyder said. "He's hitting open shots and defending the ball. He can make an impact doing that, and winning battles at the point of attack." Neto had nine points with six assists in 25 minutes in the win, but his production has been sporadic this season and he was scoreless in his previous outing. He is only on the radar in deeper leagues.

Raul Neto started Wednesday's game but shot 0-of-7 from the field to finish scoreless with one rebound and two assists in 20 minutes.

He was initially ruled out due to concussion symptoms stemming from an elbow he took during Monday's game, but was surprisingly cleared for action tonight. Even at 100 percent health the 23-year-old Brazilian has no fantasy appeal.
