Joffrey Lauvergne scored 15 points off the bench on Tuesday vs. the Mavericks, adding six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes.
King Joffrey is a very capable big, but his minutes will be limited while the Thunder are at full strength -- Steven Adams sat out tonight with a minor ankle issue. Ersan Ilyasova and Domantas Sabonis are getting the bulk of the minutes at the four and Adams and Enes Kanter will each have sizable roles, so Lauvergne could be the odd man out. Oct 11 - 11:55 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne exited Tuesday's scrimmage after being poked in the eye.

We'll go ahead and throw Lauvergne on the injury report for now, but it would be shocking to see this to turn into an issue that impacts his status for opening night. Lauvergne is going to be fighting for minutes with the likes of Enes Kanter, Domatas Sabonis and Ersan Ilyasova this season, so it'll be extremely tough for him to earn enough minutes to make a difference in most settings.
Sep 28 - 9:45 AM

The Nuggets have traded Joffrey Lauvergne to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Nuggets will receive two future second round picks from the Thunder, while Lauvergne will join a crowded frontcourt in Oklahoma City. Lauvergne could have some value in deeper fantasy leagues, but he won't have much value in standard leagues unless Steven Adams and/or Enes Kanter suffer an injury.
Aug 30 - 1:00 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne did nothing with his 10.5 minutes of action in France's 87-66 loss to Australia on Saturday, finishing with no points and three rebounds.

Lauvergne could hold some fantasy appeal if he were moved to another team, but there just aren't enough minutes for him in Denver. As an aside, Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders reports that the Nuggets have guaranteed Lauvergne's deal for the 2016-17 season.

Joffrey Lauvergne (back) is not expected to play on Wednesday against the Blazers.

That means there should be more of the frontcourt combo of Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic. Both should be very attractive plays tonight in what should be an up-tempo game. Lauvergne probably won't be a big factor for the Nuggets next season.
Apr 13 - 2:34 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne (lower back soreness) is probable to play Wednesday vs. Portland.

Lauvergne will more than likely be out there for Denver's regular-season finale, but he's just too inconsistent to depend upon in standard settings.
Apr 12 - 4:39 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne looked great on Saturday, scoring 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting with six boards and two assists in 24 minutes.

Kenneth Faried only played 16 minutes and the Nuggets were missing Darrell Arthur (knee), but King Joffrey looked great tonight. Lauvergne has played well at times this season, but the frontcourt is simply too crowded for us to get behind an add outside of deeper leagues. Just keep an eye on him.
Apr 3 - 12:14 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored nine points in 25 minutes against the Lakers on Friday, adding 10 rebounds and no turnovers.

He basically played all of his minutes at power forward, which is great news for his playing time. Lauvergne will need Kenneth Faried (back) to stay out of the lineup and he's still No. 3 on the pecking order for their foreign bigs.
Mar 26 - 1:55 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne (nasal wall fracture) is probable for Monday vs. the Cavs.

He's fully expected to be out there, and the probable designation is really just a formality. Even with Kenneth Faried (back) out, Lauvergne is an unappealing asset with Nikola Jokic's emergence and Jusuf Nurkic now backing him up.

Joffrey Lauvergne (face) scored 16 points off the bench on Thursday vs. the Hawks, adding six boards, one assist and one block in 30 minutes.

He picked up some extra minutes because the game turned into a blowout and Kenneth Faried was out with a back injury, so most owners can ignore this impressive line for now. Unless Faried has to miss more time, Lauvergne belongs on the wire, especially with Jusuf Nurkic playing well again.
Mar 17 - 11:31 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne (nasal wall fracture, cheek bone contusion) is available to play Thursday vs. Atlanta.

Lauvergne was never in any danger of sitting out Thursday's game, and he could be earning some extended minutes tonight with Kenneth Faried (back) looking unlikely. Still, Lauvergne is just too inconsistent for use in standard leagues.
Mar 17 - 6:59 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne (nasal wall fracture) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Hawks.

Lauvergne has been playing through a nasal wall fracture and cheekbone contusion for the past two games, and there's no reason to believe that trend won't continue on Thursday night. However, Lauvergne is far too inconsistent to rely upon in standard settings.
Mar 17 - 2:20 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne had 12 points and eight rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting in 23 minutes on Tuesday.

Jusuf Nurkic was out with a sore left knee so Lauvergne got some extra minutes. Nikola Jokic is still the center you want to own here, but both Nurkic and Lauvergne are worth keeping an eye on.
Mar 15 - 9:43 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne (face) played 12 minutes against the Heat on Monday with 10 points and three rebounds.

He had a pretty big mask to go with his sweet gelled hair. Lauvergne has a sinus wall fracture and a cheekbone contusion, but he should still be able to play. Jusuf Nurkic (knee) did not play, so that also helps Lauvergne. He's only worth a look in deeper leagues, though.
Mar 14 - 10:28 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne (cheekbone contusion) is available to play on Monday vs. the Heat.

Jusuf Nurkic (knee) has been upgraded to "available" as well, so it will be interesting to see who backs up Nikola Jokic off the bench. To be clear, Lauvergne isn't a lock to see the floor and belongs on the waiver wire.
