Joffrey Lauvergne (personal business) is expected to return to the team on Saturday.
Lauvergne logged six minutes in Game 1 but did not play in Game 2 or 3, as he has been away from the team due to a death in his family. He should be ready to play on Sunday as the Spurs try to avoid a sweep, but he does not see significant minutes even when available. Apr 20 - 11:36 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne (personal business) will not play in Game 3 against the Warriors.

It'll be his second game listed as out, but Lauvergne wouldn't be in the rotation anyway.

Joffrey Lauvergne (personal business) will not play in Monday's Game 2 vs. the Warriors

We sincerely hope that everything is okay with Lauvergne and his family, but this has no direct impact on San Antonio's chances at slowing down the Golden State machine.
Apr 15 - 4:56 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored two points with two rebounds and one assist in 11 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

He was LaMarcus Aldridge's backup in this game and that should continue while Pau Gasol (shoulder) is out. There's very little to like here while LMA is healthy.
Mar 9 - 1:07 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne played seven minutes vs. the Grizzlies on Monday with two points and one rebound.

Pau Gasol injured his shoulder on Monday and is already being considered doubtful for Thursday's game vs. the Warriors. Lauvergne may be asked to step up in Gasol's absence and could have some short-term value. In his only start of the season, Lauvergne had 11 points and six rebounds in 26 minutes. Just keep an eye on him in 14- and 16-team leagues and there's no guarantee that Lauvergne would get the nod in the first unit. Davis Bertans is another candidate to replace Gasol in the lineup.
Mar 5 - 11:59 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne had 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 19 minutes vs. New Orleans on Wednesday.

LaMarcus Aldridge didn't return after spraining his right ankle, and Pau Gasol (knee) was already unavailable, so Lauvergne became a default starter after halftime. It's safe to assume that he'll play big minutes if those veterans can't go vs. the Lakers on Saturday. Keep an eye on the Spurs' injury report.
Mar 1 - 1:16 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne started the third quarter for LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) on Wednesday.

The Spurs are running out of bodies here and Lauvergne was really the only choice. We should see a lot of Rudy Gay and Kyle Anderson at the four to help fill the void while Davis Bertans is going to have to play more too. Aldridge's ankle injury didn't look too bad, so Lauvergne is only a speculative add in deep leagues.
Feb 28 - 9:48 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored a career-high 26 points (12-of-15 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs) in a 117-109 loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday, adding 12 rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes.

This came out of nowhere with Joffrey playing 15 or fewer minutes in his previous eight games. LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) was out again tonight and Pau Gasol's minutes were held in check because of the back-to-back, so King Joffrey took advantage. The Spurs are off until after the All-Star break and LMA is expected back next game, so Joffrey isn't an add.
Feb 14 - 1:05 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne hit 4-of-5 field-goal attempts in Friday's loss against Philadelphia, finishing with eight points.

Lauvergne also chipped in with three rebounds, an assist and just one turnover, as the big man saw a few more minutes with the game out of hand. He is averaging 9.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game over his past two outings while hitting 9-of-11 from the field. Still, he is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy formats, and in DFS as a low-cost option when one of the veteran big men is being rested.
Jan 27 - 1:13 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne came off San Antonio's bench for 10 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one block on Wednesday, making 5-of-6 field goals in 19 minutes.

This was Lauvergne's best game in recent memory, although that's not saying much. LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) was out tonight and there's no long-term implication here, so leave Joffrey on the wire.
Jan 25 - 12:13 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne started over Pau Gasol (rest) on Thursday and hit 4-of-11 shots for 11 points and six rebounds in 26 minutes.

He didn't do anything else, but turned out to be a decent punt play in DFS. Gasol was just resting, so he should be back on Saturday against the Kings.

Joffrey Lauvergne and Bryn Forbes are starting against the Jazz on Thursday.

They will join Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge in the first unit with Pau Gasol (groin) and Danny Green (groin) out. The Spurs are likely just being cautious with Pau Gasol since he played 33 minutes on Wednesday, so there's no reason to add Lauvergne unless you're desperate to stream some rebounds tonight. As for Forbes, he could have some short-term value for his 3-point shooting if Green's injury continues to linger.
Thu, Dec 21, 2017 09:57:00 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored six points with four rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 12 minutes against the Suns on Saturday.

He was called probable to play back on Wednesday, but it took some rest for Pau Gasol to get in there. King Joffrey has been dethroned from the rotation when the Spurs are healthy.

Joffrey Lauvergne (right middle mallet finger) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Heat.

Lauvergne dislocated his finger during Sunday's game, but had a trainer pop it back in place and played through it. He was available to play Monday vs. the Pistons, but was a DNP-CD, as LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) returned to the lineup. Lauvergne may see a few minutes off the bench on Wednesday but should be left on waivers.

Joffrey Lauvergne (finger) is probable to play Monday vs. the Pistons.

Lauvergne dislocated his finger during Sunday's game, but played through it and it doesn't look like it'll be costing him any time on the sidelines. However, with LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) getting back to the court tonight, there won't be enough minutes for Lauvergne to make a meaningful impact in fantasy hoops.
