Joffrey Lauvergne scored a career-high 26 points (12-of-15 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs) in a 117-109 loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday, adding 12 rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes.
This came out of nowhere with Joffrey playing 15 or fewer minutes in his previous eight games. LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) was out again tonight and Pau Gasol's minutes were held in check because of the back-to-back, so King Joffrey took advantage. The Spurs are off until after the All-Star break and LMA is expected back next game, so Joffrey isn't an add. Feb 14 - 1:05 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne hit 4-of-5 field-goal attempts in Friday's loss against Philadelphia, finishing with eight points.

Lauvergne also chipped in with three rebounds, an assist and just one turnover, as the big man saw a few more minutes with the game out of hand. He is averaging 9.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game over his past two outings while hitting 9-of-11 from the field. Still, he is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy formats, and in DFS as a low-cost option when one of the veteran big men is being rested.
Jan 27 - 1:13 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne came off San Antonio's bench for 10 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one block on Wednesday, making 5-of-6 field goals in 19 minutes.

This was Lauvergne's best game in recent memory, although that's not saying much. LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) was out tonight and there's no long-term implication here, so leave Joffrey on the wire.
Jan 25 - 12:13 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne started over Pau Gasol (rest) on Thursday and hit 4-of-11 shots for 11 points and six rebounds in 26 minutes.

He didn't do anything else, but turned out to be a decent punt play in DFS. Gasol was just resting, so he should be back on Saturday against the Kings.

Joffrey Lauvergne and Bryn Forbes are starting against the Jazz on Thursday.

They will join Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge in the first unit with Pau Gasol (groin) and Danny Green (groin) out. The Spurs are likely just being cautious with Pau Gasol since he played 33 minutes on Wednesday, so there's no reason to add Lauvergne unless you're desperate to stream some rebounds tonight. As for Forbes, he could have some short-term value for his 3-point shooting if Green's injury continues to linger.

Joffrey Lauvergne scored six points with four rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 12 minutes against the Suns on Saturday.

He was called probable to play back on Wednesday, but it took some rest for Pau Gasol to get in there. King Joffrey has been dethroned from the rotation when the Spurs are healthy.

Joffrey Lauvergne (right middle mallet finger) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Heat.

Lauvergne dislocated his finger during Sunday's game, but had a trainer pop it back in place and played through it. He was available to play Monday vs. the Pistons, but was a DNP-CD, as LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) returned to the lineup. Lauvergne may see a few minutes off the bench on Wednesday but should be left on waivers.

Joffrey Lauvergne (finger) is probable to play Monday vs. the Pistons.

Lauvergne dislocated his finger during Sunday's game, but played through it and it doesn't look like it'll be costing him any time on the sidelines. However, with LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) getting back to the court tonight, there won't be enough minutes for Lauvergne to make a meaningful impact in fantasy hoops.

Joffrey Lauvergne started the second half of Sunday's road loss, posting 12 points (5-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six boards and two steals in 23 minutes.

Lauvergne dislocated a middle finger tonight, but didn't seem bothered after having it re-set and taped up. Pau Gasol was rested after halftime tonight, part of a team-wide effort to limit the Spurs' veterans -- Tony Parker, LaMarcus Aldridge and Rudy Gay were all DNP-CDs. The second-half start does nothing to improve Lauvergne's fantasy appeal, in other words, but it does look like he's regained his conditioning after an extended absence with a high-ankle sprain.

Coach Gregg Popovich said Joffery Lauvergne reinjured his sprained right ankle and is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

For what it's worth, Lauvergne said he's good to go. He played just seven minutes on Monday, but that's more than the five minutes he played on Friday. If he doesn't suit up, Lauvergne won't be missed too much in this game.

Joffrey Lauvergne played five scoreless minutes on Tuesday, making his first appearance since Oct. 23.

He's been dealing with an ankle injury and was finally able to get back on the court tonight. Unless you're in a ridiculous fantasy league that drafts nearly every player in the NBA, Lauvergne should be ignored until further notice.

Joffrey Lauvergne (ankle) will not play Tuesday vs. the Mavs.

Lauvergne, who has missed each of the Spurs last 10 games, is making progress but is not yet ready to suit up. Coach Gregg Popovich did indicate there was a chance that Lauvergne could play Wednesday vs. the Wolves.

Joffrey Lauvergne (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks.

Lauvergne was able to get in a light practice last Wednesday, and Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News said based on what he saw at practice, that he'd speculate Lauvergne will be ready to get back on the court Tuesday night following a 10-game stint on the sidelines. Check back for another update following Tuesday morning's shootaround.

Joffrey Lauvergne (ankle) went through a light practice on Wednesday.

Lauvergne was spotted working on some low-post moves with Tim Duncan, and while it wasn't all that intense of a practice, this is a good sign regarding his availability for Friday's game against the Bucks. However, even if Lauvergne plays, he won't be on the court enough to make a meaningful impact in most leagues.

Joffrey Lauvergne (ankle) will remain on the sidelines for Tuesday's game against the Clippers.

Gregg Popovich indicated last Thursday that Lauvergne will be out at least another 4-6 days, so while he'll miss Tuesday's game, maybe he'll be able to get out there for Friday's game against the Bucks. Lauvergne belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
