Joffrey Lauvergne finished with 15 points, five rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes Sunday against the Pelicans.
Lauvergne was very sharp from the floor, hitting five of his seven field goal attempts, including three of his four shots from behind the 3-point line. Despite the solid production he remains useful only in the deepest of fantasy leagues for the remainder of the regular season. Apr 2 - 9:58 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored four points with four rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes off the bench against the 76ers on Friday.

He is not going to play much when the Bulls are healthy. Lauvergne is not a fantasy option.
Mar 25 - 1:14 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne started in place of Robin Lopez (suspension) on Wednesday, finishing with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

With Lopez suspended and Cristiano Felicio (back) out of commission, the Bulls plugged the hole at center with a whole lot of Lauvergne. The fact that they easily won this critical home game could earn him another start, but for now we're assuming that Lopez will reclaim the job on Friday. Prior to this game, Lauvergne had scored 17 points combined in March, and he's been nowhere near standard-league value in Chicago. It's hard to recommend him after one big game in a blowout.
Mar 22 - 10:42 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Pistons.

Robin Lopez is serving his one-game suspension, so Lauvergne will get the call to enter the starting five. Fred Hoiberg has talked up Lauvergne a lot since he got to Chicago, so maybe he'll be worth a punt play in DFS as his minutes could be in the 30s tonight. Bobby Portis still seems like a more attractive DFS target, though.
Mar 22 - 6:27 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne went 1-of-7 from the field during Friday's blowout loss to the Celtics, ending his evening with three points, one 3-pointer, two boards and one turnover in 17 minutes.

Fred Hoiberg has been intrigued by the addition of Lauvergne to his roster, so he’s likely going to keep giving him minutes until he realizes just how bad Lauvergne really is.
Mar 12 - 6:22 PM

Joffrey Lauvernge scored two points with nine rebounds, two assists and three turnovers in 16 minutes against the Rockets on Friday.

Coach Fred Hoiberg stuck to his word and did play King Joffrey in this ugly loss. His first stint was actually a good one before the Bulls completely unraveled. With Bobby Portis having a rough first half, it's not crazy to think Lauvernge starts. Quite frankly, Lauvergne really isn't that good, so he's only a questionable add in very deep leagues.
Mar 10 - 10:23 PM

Coach Fred Hoiberg said Joffrey Lauvergne will stay in the rotation for now.

Hoiberg said he was going to change his rotation and apparently he's seen enough from Lauvergne to keep him in the mix. He had by far his best game on Wednesday since joining the Bulls, posting seven points, eight boards and four assists in 29 minutes off the bench. He's not the worst shooter, Nikola Mirotic was a DNP-CD, and Bobby Portis isn't exactly consistent, so King Joffrey could get some decent minutes. He's still not very good, so he would be a bit of an unknown as a pickup in deeper leagues. This is bad news for Nikola Mirotic.
Mar 9 - 2:53 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne had his best game with the Bulls on Wednesday, scoring seven points with eight rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes off the bench.

Lauvergne also made one 3-pointer, but he hit just 2-of-6 FGs and 2-of-4 FTs without any defensive stats. In the process, he reduced Nikola Mirotic to a DNP-CD while stealing minutes from Bobby Portis (19 minutes). Chicago lost this game but that shouldn't prevent Lauvergne from getting another crack at substantial minutes on Friday. Fred Hoiberg said he'll consider lineup changes, and explicitly praised Lauvergne after the game, but most owners can take a wait-and-see approach in 12-team leagues.
Mar 8 - 9:50 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne will be active but is not expected to play Friday night vs. the Suns.

This means more minutes for starter Bobby Portis. Nikola Mirotic will also likely to see a bump in playing time. The Bulls next game is Saturday vs. the Cavs. We could see Lauvergne make his Bulls debut then.
Feb 24 - 6:20 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne has been traded to the Bulls.

Even though Taj Gibson is moving on to OKC, Chicago isn't necessarily a great spot for King Joffrey because the Bulls probably want to give Bobby Portis most of the power forward minutes as they look towards the future. Lauvergne is worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues, especially if the Bulls move another big like Nikola Mirotic or Robin Lopez. He averaged 5.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 0.4 steals in 14.8 minutes per game for OKC.
Feb 23 - 2:55 PM

If the Thunder and Bulls pull off a trade that would send Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson to the Thunder for Cameron Payne, Joffrey Lauvergne and draft compensation would also likely be part of the deal.

Lauvergne has been getting extra run with the Thunder due to the absence of Enes Kanter (arm), but Kanter is nearing a return to action. And if Lauvergne ends up with the Bulls, he would likely be in the rotation, as the Bulls only have Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic (as of now) to play at the four. Having said that, it's still hard to imagine Lauvergne having 12-team fantasy value with the Bulls, or any other team.
Feb 23 - 2:23 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting in 29 minutes vs. the Wizards on Monday.

The game was a blowout and King Joffrey scored eight points alone in the fourth quarter during garbage time. He added six rebounds, four assists and one triple while hitting all four of his free throws, but he's safe to leave on the wire in most leagues as this will likely be an outlier for what has been a quiet season for Lauvergne.
Feb 13 - 11:30 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored a season-high 16 points with eight rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.

The Thunder really want to give Lauvergne Enes Kanter's minutes, but the consistency has been an issue. Besides that, coach Billy Donovan went with his double-big lineup of Joffrey and Steven Adams for a whopping 28 minutes. That has a lot to do with the matchup and Domantas Sabonis was lost today, so this isn't likely to be a trend. Lauvergne is more of a 16-team guy because the opportunity is there.
Feb 4 - 1:35 AM

Joffrey Lauvergne scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting off the bench on Sunday, to go with six boards, one assist and three turnovers in 21 minutes.

Lauvergne was the first big off the bench for OKC in this one, so it looks like he’s going to be one of the primary beneficiaries with Enes Kanter (broken forearm) set to spend the next 6-8 weeks on the sidelines. He’s probably not going to get much more than 20 minutes a night, though, so it’ll be tough for him to make much of a difference in standard leagues.
Jan 29 - 6:21 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne played seven minutes against the Mavs on Thursday with three points.

After the Enes Kanter (arm) injury, Lauvergne didn't get any minutes in the second half. Coach Billy Donovan does like to use two-big lineups with Kanter and Adams, so it's possible we see Lauvergne out there for minutes in the teens in the right matchup. Of course, most owners can leave him on the wire for now.
