Toure Murry has officially cleared waivers.

He'll now be free to sign with a team of his choosing, but he's not likely to have any fantasy value regardless of where he lands.
Jan 6 - 5:26 PM

The Utah Jazz have waived guard Toure Murry on Sunday.

This move come as no surprise considering Murry has made just one brief appearance for the Jazz this season. The Jazz are reportedly close to signing Elijah Millsap to their final roster spot so we will continue to watch that situation closely. Murry may latch onto another NBA team this season, but he is well off the fantasy radar.

Jan 4 - 12:17 PM

The Utah Jazz are expected to waive Toure Murry on Sunday.

Murry wasn't in the rotation anyways, so this news shouldn't impact almost any fantasy league. The Jazz are reportedly close to signing Elijah Millsap, so it looks like Murry will be the player to make way. We will let you know if/when the deal becomes official.
Jan 4 - 1:55 AM

Toure Murry was recalled from the Idaho Stampede and will be available against the Wolves on Saturday.

The Jazz are running out of shooting guards with three guys going down in the past week. Murry will likely just be an emergency guy, though.
Jan 3 - 2:51 PM

Toure Murry was assigned to the NBA D-League on Wednesday.

He won't be in the rotation for the Jazz anytime soon, and the fact that the Jazz sent him down to the NBA D-League despite the loss of Alec Burks (shoulder) suggests that he won't have any fantasy value for the foreseeable future. Murry can be ignored in almost all leagues.

The Utah Jazz have recalled Toure Murray from the Idaho Stamped of the D-League.

Murry averaged 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals, and 31.5 minutes in six games with the Stampede, but has yet to suit up for an NBA game this season. Fantasy owners can feel free to leave the 25-year-old on their waiver wire.

Toure Murry will be in uniform for the first time this season when the Jazz take on the Piston's Sunday.

He likely won't see many minutes, if any, as he will likely just serve as emergency depth for the Jazz. Murry can be left on the waiver wire in almost all leagues.

The Jazz signed PG Toure Murry to a partially-guaranteed two-year contract on Tuesday.

The deal is worth $2 million but it's only guaranteed for $250k this season, and is fully unguaranteed for 2015-16. Utah has the youngest roster in the NBA and they'll spend much of the season developing Trey Burke and Dante Exum, so Murry doesn't have meaningful upside in fantasy leagues.

The Jazz are reportedly "closing in" on a deal with free agent G Toure Murry.

The deal is reportedly worth $2 million over two years, enough to pry him away from other interested teams including the Heat and Knicks. Murry gives Utah affordable depth but he's unlikely to earn many minutes in a backcourt featuring Trey Burke, Dante Exum, Alec Burks and Ian Clark.

The Knicks may look to re-sign unrestricted free agent Toure Murry.

He's also drawn some interest from the Heat, Jazz and Clippers. Murry has yet to show he's capable of playing significant minutes in the NBA and never even really got it going when the Knicks were short handed in the middle of the season. He's likely to be an end-of-the-bench guy at best.

The Heat have interest in unrestricted free agent Toure Murry.

The Heat need a lot of help on the wing due to a lack of depth. Despite a solid 2013 summer league, Murry wasn't very impressive in the regular season at just 2.7 points per game. He'll likely get a camp invite somewhere.

The Jazz have expressed interest in unrestricted free agent Toure Murry.

Murry has also met with the Heat, but regardless of where he signs, he is not on the fantasy radar in any format. Murry averaged 2.7 points through 51 games with the Knicks during the 2013-14 season.

The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly shown interest in unrestricted free agent Toure Murry.

The Clippers interest is likely a reaction to Darren Collison's departure to Sacramento as Murry could serve as a lower-cost back up to starter Chris Paul. Murry only averaged 2.7 points over 7.3 minutes per game with the Knicks during the 2013-14 season, but is still only 24 years old and could grow into a solid bench option under the tutelage of Doc Rivers.

The Knicks are not expected to make a qualifying offer to Toure Murry.

He will become an unrestricted free agent and the Nets, Bulls and Warriors are believed to be interested. Murry didn't get off the bench much in his time with the Knicks, playing just 7.3 minutes per game with a 2.7 points-per-game average.
