The Timberwolves have signed Toure Murry to a training camp deal.
The Timberwolves already have 15 guaranteed contracts on the books, so Murry will need to displace someone in order to earn a roster spot. Perhaps he can send Brandon Rush packing, but a best-case scenario for Murry would be him earning a spot as the third-string point guard on the roster. There's no fantasy value to be had here. The Knicks are reportedly interested in D-League guard Toure Murry.

The Knicks are scouting him at the D-League showcase, and it's possible that they could offer the guard a 10-day contract. Even if Murry ends up signing with the Knicks, owners in most fantasy leagues can simply monitor him from the waiver wire.

The Jazz are interested in Toure Murry, a source told Jody Genessy of Deseret News.

Murry is averaging 14.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists for the Texas Legends in the D-League, but it's important to note that the Jazz would have to move a player to make a deal work since they have 15 players on their roster. Murry has career averages of 2.6 points, 0.9 assists and 0.8 boards, so he isn't on the fantasy radar.

Toure Murry will play for the Texas Legends in the D-League, a source told the Washington Post.

Murry was waived in training camp by the Wizards, and now he'll try to use the D-League in order to return to the NBA.

Wizards waive Toure Murry, Jaron Johnson and Jaleel Roberts.

It's not going to be easy for any guard to make the Wizards. Murry had a nice preseason in four games, making 71.4 percent from the field.

Toure Murry has signed a training camp deal with the Washington Wizards.

Murry's deal with Washington is non-guaranteed and the 25-year-old is unlikely to survive the Wizards final roster cuts. We'll keep an eye on him throughout camp, but fantasy owners can continue to ignore Murry.

The Wizards will sign Toure Murry to a non-guaranteed contract.

In other words, he'll be with the club for training camp. The team waived him back on Mar. 26, and he's unlikely to make the final roster. The Wizards have 15 guaranteed deals on their books, which means Murry will have to explode in camp to be a consideration.

The Lakers will work out Toure Murry, a source told ESPN's Marc Stein.

Murry will match up against veteran Bobby Brown as the two guards will likely be competing head-to-head to earn a training camp invite. With just D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Kobe Bryant as the primary ballhandlers, the Lakers would be wise to add another ingredient to their backcourt mix before training camp gets started. Despite his size, Lou Williams is not a point guard, and it would be a major surprise to see Dwight Buycks make this team.

Wizards waive G Toure Murry.

The ankle injury cost him his roster spot and the Wizards will need some healthy bodies right now. Garrett Temple (hamstring) is already hurt and now Bradley Beal (ankle) is banged up. Murry could be back with the team soon.

Toure Murry (ankle) will not be available to play vs. the Pacers on Wednesday.

Considering that he is still in a walking boot, Murry probably won't be coming back in the near future. He just recently signed a second 10-day contract, so this won't help his chances of sticking around in Washington. Leave Murry on the wire.

Toure Murry left Monday's game after injuring his left ankle and did not return.

Murry logged four minutes during mop-up time and the injury looked like it could cause him to miss some time. He has no fantasy value with or without the injury.

Toure Murry has signed a second 10-day contract with the Wizards.

He's played a total of four minutes over two games for the Wizards this season, and there's not a league where he should be owned.

The Wizards are leaning towards signing Toure' Murry to a second 10-day deal, according to Shams Charania of RealGM.

Charania also reports that the Wizards are monitoring free agent Will Bynum, as the team hopes to bolster its bench for the playoffs. Murray has played just four minutes in his four-game stint with the Wizards and he can safely be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

The Wizards have signed G Toure Murry to a 10-day contract.

Murry will likely be available to play for Thursday's matchup with the Grizzlies, but he's very unlikely to get enough minutes to matter in most leagues. Leave him on the wire.
Thu, Mar 12, 2015 01:53:00 PM

The Wizards are expected to sign G Toure Murry to a 10-day contract on Thursday.

Garrett Temple (hamstring) won't play on Thursday and he could miss significant time, so Murry gives coach Randy Wittman a bit of insurance behind John Wall, Bradley Beal and Ramon Sessions. Murry should be available to play on Thursday but he's not a fantasy asset in any leagues.
