Dewayne Dedmon scored 15 points with 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block in 23 minutes against the Hornets on Saturday.
With David Lee out of the lineup, Dedmon picked up some added run as the backup five. He's usually a situational guy and he only played three minutes in garbage time. He's someone to think about if the Spurs rest Pau Gasol. Jan 8 - 12:33 AM

Dewayne Dedmon started in place of Pau Gasol (rest) on Friday vs. the Blazers, scoring six points on 2-of-4 shooting with seven rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes.

He had six points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three blocks in his only other start of the season, and he saw a similar amount of minutes (26) in that one. Gasol will be back for Christmas day against the Bulls, but Dedmon will be on the DFS radar again the next time Gasol sits.

Dewayne Dedmon and Dejounte Murray will start against the Blazers on Friday night.

With Pau Gasol (rest) out, there should be a big chance for Dedmon. The Blazers are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA and they have a lot of slashing for blocking opportunities, so Dedmon could have a productive game in the starting lineup tonight. Gasol should be fine for next week, so Dedmon isn't a pickup here.

Dewayne Dedmon scored four points with six rebounds, two assists and one steal against the Clippers on Thursday.

He'll be looking at some added minutes with Pau Gasol (rest) ruled out for Friday. In the last rest game, Dedmon got the start with 26 minutes, six points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three blocks. He'll share his minutes with guys like David Lee while also Davis Bertans should get more run. With the way the Blazers like to attack the paint and can give up big lines to centers, Dedmon is an interesting cheap option. Obviously a 14-game night makes him super risky.

Dewayne Dedmon did not score in 11 minutes against the Rockets on Tuesday with three rebounds and one turnover.

He had a really nice three-game run with games against the Celtics, Suns and Pelicans, but not tonight in Houston. It's imperative to remember that coach Gregg Popovich uses Dedmon situationally, so he didn't need to use him tonight because the Rockets don't have any high-volume low-post guys. That could change against the Clippers, so expect Dedmon to play more on Thursday.

Coach Gregg Popovich said Dewayne Dedmon has done a good job all year.

He's fit in nicely as a situation big man with some easy dunks on offense while posting blocks and boards on the defensive end. Dedmon has seen a slight increase in minutes with 16.8 per game over his last five. He'll be tough to trust in most leagues, but will have more value on the nights Pau Gasol rests.

Dewayne Dedmon hit 5-of-6 shots for 11 points, nine rebounds and block in Thursday night’s win against the Suns.

It was only the fourth time this season that Dedmon has played over 20 minutes, but it marked the third time in the last eight games. He remains a part of the Spurs rotation, but is still not play enough minutes on a consistent basis to warrant a roster spot on your fantasy team.

Dewayne Dedmon played 16 minutes against the Celtics on Wednesday with 10 points, five rebounds and one steal.

The stat line doesn't tell the story with Dedmon playing awesome ball down the stretch. He's been used situationally in this season and may be used more consistently. He's still more of a 16-team guy, but he'll likely have an upward trend as the Spurs be careful with their aging bigs.

Dewayne Dedmon started on Wednesday and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds with six points, three blocks and two steals in 26 minutes vs. the Mavericks.

Dedmon started in place of Pau Gasol (rest), who didn't even travel with the team. Dedmon has been a quality addition to the Spurs' bench this season but he's a marginal fantasy option with averages of 4.0 points, 5.2 boards and 1.4 blocks per game. Barring an injury to Gasol, he's nothing more than a blocks specialist.

Dewayne Dedmon will start vs. the Mavericks on Wednesday.

The starting gig puts Dedmon on the radar as a punt-C option in DFS, but this doesn't have any long-term ramifications.

Dewayne Dedmon (knee) played 17 minutes in his return to action on Tuesday vs. Orlando, scoring six points with eight rebounds, one steal and two blocks.

Dedmon could have some sneaky value on the nights that the Spurs rest their studs, but standard-league owners should be able to find a better option on the wire like JaMychal Green or John Henson.
Wed, Nov 30, 2016 12:09:00 AM

Dewayne Dedmon (knee) will be available to play Tuesday vs. Orlando.

He could see limited minutes off the bench, but he's not a viable target in most settings.

Dewayne Dedmon (knee) has been ruled out against the Wizards on Saturday.

He was upgraded to doubtful earlier today ,but the Spurs will hold him out for his fifth straight. It should be Davis Bertans and David Lee stepping up in the second unit tonight. Both of those two bench bigs are coming off great games, but are only deep-league options.

Dewayne Dedmon (knee) is doubtful for Saturday against the Wizards.

This would be his fifth game out of the lineup. While he's been out, it's been Davis Bertans stepping up with two solid games in a row. Dedmon was playing extremely well on defense, but he's not worth stashing in fantasy while he's hurt.

Dewayne Dedmon (knee) will not play Friday vs. Celtics.

Dedmon has missed four straight games, but did sound hopeful he might be able to return Saturday in Washington. He is averaging just 13 minutes a night and is not on the fantasy radar.
