Tyler Ennis scored a career-high 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting on Sunday, adding three boards, two assists and one 3-pointer in 10 minutes.
The only reason he got some action was because the Suns were blown out early, so there is no reason for fantasy owners to consider him. Leave him on the waiver wire. Dec 14 - 10:16 PM

Suns recall G Tyler Ennis from the D-League.

Ennis will be back and forth between the end of the Suns' bench and the D-League all year.

Tyler Ennis has been assigned to the Suns' D-League affiliate in Bakersfield, California.

Ennis has only played 18 minutes all season, so this move comes as no surprise as the Suns attempt to get the 18th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft some minutes. Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek said that Ennis' stint in the D-League should be brief, but fantasy owners can feel free to ignore the rookie for now.

Suns sign G Tyler Ennis.

He had a disastrous Las Vegas Summer League, so the first-round pick would really have to step it up in training camp to even stay on the team and not start his career in the D-League. Ennis would need a lot to work in his favor to get some minutes. He's off the fantasy radar.

Tyler Ennis didn't help himself vs. the Warriors on Saturday with seven points, four rebounds, one assist, three steals, one turnover and three fouls in 23 minutes.

Even the sub-par stat line doesn't tell the story. Ennis really couldn't use his left hand at all today and just never really got into a rhythm. He's going to be extremely expendable with the Suns having a three-headed monster at point guard.

Multiple reports during the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft have the Raptors pursuing current Suns first round pick Tyler Ennis.

This could help the Raptors deal with the potential loss of Kyle Lowry or it could mean they're not that into mediocre Greivis Vasquez. Phoenix has responded in one report by saying they want to keep him, so at this point it's anybody's guess where he'll land. Either way, his fantasy value isn't great in either spot as a rookie.

The Suns selected Syracuse guard Tyler Ennis with the 18th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.

He did a fine job stepping in at point guard for the Orangeman after Michael Carter-Williams. Ennis was very effective at avoiding turnovers with just 1.7 per game to go with his averages of 12.9 points, 3.4 boards, 5.5 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.9 triples on 41.1 percent shooting. Clearly, he has a very long way to go as a scorer and he may never be a guy who will be able to score efficiently in the NBA. The Suns have Goran Dragic ready to go as their primary guard, but Eric Bledsoe is a restricted free agent. If Bledsoe doesn't re-sign, Ennis could have a chance to get minutes with the second unit.

The Knicks are believed to be trying to trade into the first round and are targeting Tyler Ennis or P.J. Hairston.

Their first-round pick went to the Magic in part of the Carmelo Anthony deal, so they'll have to come up with a creative way to pick up a draft pick. The Knicks didn't get much out of their point guard last year, but Ennis probably wouldn't start in his first season.

Tyler Ennis is one of the "true point guards" in this year's draft, and he certainly isn't lacking any confidence.

"I think I have the ability to make others better, and I think I'm able to put that together into a true point guard that could also score when my team needs it," Ennis said. "I think there's a lot of guys... that could score better than me. But none can put together the whole package as a point guard better than I can in this draft." It's possible that the Magic elect to go with a big man with their No. 4 selection, in hopes that they can grab Ennis later with the No. 12 pick.
