Tyler Ennis posted a career-high 22 points in 29 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 112-97 loss against the Jazz.
Ennis was sharp, hitting 9-of-18 from the floor while hitting 1-of-3 from behind the 3-point line and 3-of-3 from the free-throw stripe. He also added six rebounds, two assists and three steals with just one turnover. He has taken advantage of the fact Lonzo Ball (knee) and Brandon Ingram (concussion) have been sidelined, finishing up strong and building good tape for evaluation heading into next season. Tyler Ennis scored 10 points with two rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Spurs on Wednesday.

That's two games in a row that Ennis has outplayed Alex Caruso. Ennis was also coming off a 10-point Tuesday, so expect him to get minutes in the mid-20s for minutes as long as Lonzo Ball (knee) and Brandon Ingram (concussion) are out.
Apr 5 - 1:14 AM

Tyler Ennis went from a start to a DNP-CD on Friday.

There's little reason to think he'll get another chance at minutes after the strong game from Josh Hart. Drop Ennis basically everywhere.
Feb 2 - 11:06 PM

Tyler Ennis will come off the bench on Friday vs. the Nets.

He wasted his opportunity with Lonzo Ball (knee) out and the Lakers will give Josh Hart a look in that role tonight. Ennis isn't a lock to see any minutes vs. the Nets.
Feb 2 - 7:33 PM

Tyler Ennis tied his season-high with four rebounds on Wednesday, but he scored just five points without any other stats in 10 minutes of action.

Ennis actually tied his season-high in boards just four minutes into the first quarter tonight. He played less than reserve guards Jordan Clarkson, Josh Hart and Alex Caruso, and his fantasy role could vaporize entirely whenever Lonzo Ball (knee) returns. Plan accordingly.
Jan 31 - 10:14 PM

Tyler Ennis scored seven points with one rebound, five assists and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Pacers on Friday.

He was outplayed by Alex Caruso for the second straight night, so maybe coach Luke Walton will make a move there. Either way, you probably shouldn't be counting on Ennis even with Lonzo Ball (knee) needing to go through a practice before he's suiting up for games.
Jan 20 - 2:08 AM

Tyler Ennis started Wednesday's game and had nine points, three rebounds and three assists, making 4-of-7 shots with one 3-pointer in 20 minutes.

Lonzo Ball (knee) was out again tonight so Ennis was tabbed to start alongside Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle and Brook Lopez. As long as Ball is day-to-day there's no real incentive to own Ennis anywhere.
Jan 18 - 12:33 AM

Tyler Ennis started for Lonzo Ball (shoulder) on Monday and hit 3-of-6 shots for six points, two rebounds and three assists in 33 just 17 minutes.

Gary Payton II made his debut for the Lakers tonight and played 12 minutes and Jordan Clarkson played 17 minutes in the loss. If Ball's not playing point guard for the Lakers, you probably don't want to be using one of the other ones in fantasy leagues.
Jan 15 - 8:15 PM

Tyler Ennis will start vs. the Grizzlies on Monday, according to coach Luke Walton.

Jan 15 - 4:54 PM

Tyler Ennis handed out six assists in 21 minutes on Wednesday, adding four points and four rebounds in a loss to the visiting Thunder.

Lonzo Ball (shoulder) is expected to practice Thursday, with the goal of returning on Friday, so Ennis' stint as the starting PG is almost over. There should be more promising options, both short- and long-term, on your waiver wire.
Jan 4 - 2:32 AM

Lakers coach Luke Walton praised Tyler Ennis for taking advantage of his opportunity on Sunday vs. Houston.

"He finally got his chance tonight, he was great," Walton said. "That’s why we always preach, whether you’re playing right now or not, as a professional you need to stay ready and do your work because you will get an opportunity at some point and you gotta be ready to take advantage of it and tonight Tyler was." Ennis had a career-high 11 assists and matched his career-high of 20 points, and with Lonzo Ball (shoulder) out at least one more game, Ennis is in the streaming conversation on a four-game Monday slate.
Jan 1 - 11:06 AM

Tyler Ennis (illness) tied his career-high with 20 points on Sunday, adding 11 assists, four rebounds and two steals in 45 minutes during an overtime loss in Houston.

Ennis shot 8-of-18 from the field and 4-of-5 from the line before eventually fouling out. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was out tonight -- he and Lonzo Ball will also miss Monday's road game. That props open the door for Ennis, who is a fine streaming play vs. the Wolves on Monday, but this is an inherently short-lived situation.
Sun, Dec 31, 2017 11:30:00 PM

The Lakers will start Tyler Ennis, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Julius Randle vs. the Rockets on Sunday.

Ennis didn't play due to the flu on Friday but he'll start opposite Chris Paul tonight, due to the absence of both Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (legal issues) and Lonzo Ball (shoulder).
Sun, Dec 31, 2017 06:58:00 PM

Tyler Ennis (flu-like symptoms) is out against the Clippers on Friday.

With Lonzo Ball (shoulder) still out, this will give a few more minutes to Josh Hart, who is worth an add in 14-team leagues with some starts coming his way to start next week.
Fri, Dec 29, 2017 09:29:00 PM

Tyler Ennis scored two points with two rebounds, three assists and no turnovers in 10 minutes against the Clippers on Thursday.

He was behind Alex Caruso for the No. 2 spot and he even played next to him in garbage time. Ennis could pass Caruso, but it's not like the Lakers are committed to him with only a two-year minimum deal.
