Tyler Ennis (shoulder) will be out until at least mid-November.
Ennis is still recovering from his shoulder surgery back in May and is targeting a mid-November return. While there is a chance we could see Ennis recover in time for the stat of the regular season, he's buried on the Bucks depth chart and can be ignored in standard fantasy leagues. Oct 1 - 12:38 PM

Tyler Ennis (shoulder) will not play in the FIBA Americas tournament.

He had surgery back on May 21 and hasn't been cleared for shooting just yet. The Bucks adding Greivis Vasquez doesn't bode well for Ennis' playing time this season, but he's expected to be ready for training camp. He can be ignored in almost all leagues.
Jul 29 - 2:04 PM

Tyler Ennis (shoulder) has not been cleared for shooting.

He is making progress from his right labrum surgery back in May. Ennis should be ready for camp as he'll compete for backup point guard minutes behind Michael Carter-Williams.

Tyler Ennis (shoulder) will miss Summer League after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Ennis had surgery to repair a torn labrum on Tuesday, but will likely be ready for training camp as his timetable has been estimated at around eight weeks. We'll keep his progress updated as more news becomes available, but he shouldn't be on any fantasy radars at the moment.
May 21 - 11:54 AM

Bucks G Tyler Ennis had shoulder surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn labrum, and the Bucks have not yet announced a timetable for his return.

The severity of the injury will determine Ennis' return date but full recovery could take eight weeks or more. He should be fine for the start of the 2015-16 season, in other words, but his availability for Summer League is uncertain.
May 19 - 7:17 PM

Tyler Ennis will play a few games for the Bucks' Summer League team, in addition to playing for Team Canada over the summer.

Ennis will get some much-needed experience this summer, but as the fourth-string point guard for the Bucks, his fantasy value is right around zero.
May 1 - 11:20 AM

Tyler Ennis handed out a career-high 11 dimes against the Grizzlies on Saturday with seven points, four rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer on 3-of-14 from the field.

So that NBA Draft scouting report on Ennis was spot on. He is a decent passer, but he just can't score. Ennis couldn't do anything at summer league and he's yet to make a splash in the D-League or NBA as a scorer. Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) is hopeful to play on Tuesday, so Ennis can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Mar 14 - 11:41 PM

Tyler Ennis will draw the start in place of Michael Carter-Williams vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday.

This will be the rookie's first career start, and given MCW's injury history, it's possible that he gets some decent run in the near future. Ennis is averaging 4.0 points and 2.3 assist in just 9.0 minutes per game over his last five, so he could make some noise if head coach Jason Kidd plays him big minutes. For now, owners in deeper leagues should keep an eye on him.
Mar 14 - 8:05 PM

Bucks' head coach Jason Kidd said that both Tyler Ennis and Chris Johnson will see some increased opportunity Thursday vs. Indiana, with O.J. Mayo (hamstring) and Jerryd Bayless (ankle) out.

"He's knocking down the 3; he's making plays for his teammates," Kidd said of Ennis. "The more minutes he gets under his belt, he'll be better." While Ennis and Johnson will see some increased opportunity tonight, neither guy has done much since landing in Milwaukee, and both figure to be very risky options in daily leagues with a tough matchup against the Pacers. Michael Carter-Williams will get all the run he can handle.
Mar 12 - 6:13 PM

Tyler Ennis reiterated that he's thankful to get a fresh start with the Bucks.

"In Phoenix, I was happy they drafted me," Ennis said. "But the situation guards-wise wasn't ideal for me coming in as a rookie, trying to compete against three established guards in the league." The Suns drafting Ennis never made a lot of sense, but now he's with Milwaukee so it's a moot point. Ennis will backup Michael Carter-Williams and Jerryd Bayless with the Bucks.

Tyler Ennis played 24 minutes off the bench on Wednesday with nine points, two assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.

The minutes are a little misleading with garbage time being a factor here and Michael Carter-Williams also having a minutes cap. MCW should get around a 15-minute increase, which figures to come mostly from Ennis. He can be left on the wire.
Feb 25 - 11:57 PM

Tyler Ennis said that he's in a "much better spot now" that he's with the Bucks.

"It didn't play out ideally for me," Ennis said. "But I think everything happens for a reason. I was able to learn from those guys and I think I'm in a much better spot now." After barely seeing the floor for the Suns, Ennis has played in each of his first two games with the Bucks, an opportunity created with Michael Carter-Williams (toe) sidelined. Jason Kidd praised Ennis, saying "he's a poised kid."
Feb 23 - 11:51 AM

Tyler Ennis played 18 minutes in his Bucks debut on Friday with four points, one rebound, two assists, one steal and three turnovers.

He had a career high for minutes and picked up his first steal of his career. We're not sure why the Bucks added two Syracuse guards with shooting issues, but to each their own. Ennis can be left on the wire in almost all leagues.
Feb 21 - 3:28 AM

Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee plan on playing on Friday night.

Wow, it's been an interesting few minutes with doubtful guys from the trades expected to play. Ennis is going to be the backup behind Jerryd Bayless because the Bucks can't sign another point guard. He's only worth a look in very, very deep leagues.
Feb 20 - 6:07 PM

Tyler Ennis has been traded from Phoenix to Milwaukee as part of Thursday's multi-player deal.

Ennis has spent much of his season in the D-League and his prospects aren't much brighter in Milwaukee, where the backcourt already features Michael Carter-Williams, Jerryd Bayless and O.J. Mayo. Leave Ennis where you found him -- on the waiver wire.
