Kyle Anderson was sent down for another stint in the NBA D-League on Saturday.
He's averaging 22.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.1 blocks in 41.0 minutes per game in the D-League, but his chances of cracking the Spurs' rotation this season are not good. Leave Anderson on the wire. Feb 21 - 1:34 PM

The Spurs have recalled Kyle Anderson from the D-League.

He'll go back to warming the bench in San Antonio, and remains a negligible fantasy option in all leagues. Leave him on the wire.

The Spurs have assigned Kyle Anderson to the Austin Spurs of the D-League.

This moves comes as no surprise as Anderson has seen just five minutes of playing times over the Spurs' last five games. The rookie will likely be back with the Spurs after he gets a chance to develop his game in the D-League, but he can be dropped in all fantasy leagues for now.

Kyle Anderson (ankle) joked that President Obama took his jersey number when the Spurs visited the White House.

The team presented Obama with a No. 1 Spurs jersey (which is Anderson's number) when they visited the White House on Tuesday. "He took my number," Anderson said, joking. "I was like, 'Man, what’s up with that?’" Jokes aside, Anderson has only logged six minutes over the Spurs' past five games and doesn't belong on fantasy rosters right now.

Kyle Anderson (ankle) will dress for Friday's game against the Suns.

Anderson is averaging just 2.5 points through 12 minutes of action over the past two weeks, so he's not an option in almost any league.

Kyle Anderson (ankle) is probable to play Friday vs. the Suns.

Anderson's minutes have been trending down lately, and he's averaging just 2.5 points through 12 minutes of action over the past two weeks. He's not worth using in almost any league.

Kyle Anderson (ankle) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

It's not known exactly when Anderson sustained the injury, but with him sidelined, expect more minutes to go to guys like Danny Green, Manu Ginobili, and Marco Belineli. We'll consider Anderson questionable for Friday's game vs. Phoenix.

Kyle Anderson said that he's "a lot more comfortable" than he was earlier in his rookie season.

"But the wheels are still turning a bit," Anderson said. "I don’t want to just play not to mess up." Anderson has received more opportunity with Kawhi Leonard (hand) sidelined, and he's learning on the fly in Gregg Popovich's system.
Jan 5 - 10:27 AM

Kyle Anderson will start next to Cory Joseph, Danny Green, Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter.

On top of Anderson starting, it's worth a mention that Green and Splitter are in the lineup. Those two guys were sneaky scratches on Saturday despite being active. Anderson is a very risky play tonight.

Kyle Anderson felt good about being ready to step in for the Spurs when Kawhi Leonard (hand) went down.

"When I was told I would start, I was ready," said Anderson. "I went out there and played the way (coach Gregg Popovich) wants us to play, starting on the defensive end, finding open guys and playing within the system." Averaging 6.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals on 44.8 percent shooting (six games), Anderson has displayed some of the versatility he flashed in college. "He’s a young kid," Popovich said. "He hasn’t been playing very long. Every minute he gets is like an education for him."

Kyle Anderson logged 31 minutes against the Mavericks on Saturday with 11 points, eight rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer.

The Spurs were somehow able to snag him at 30 in the 2014 NBA Draft and he already looks like a steal. Kawhi Leonard (hand) could miss time, so Anderson is worth a look in deeper leagues for his multiple-category production. Just remember that he's not going to play this much because half of the team was rested.

Kyle Anderson will start against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

He'll join Cory Joseph, Danny Green, Tim Duncan and Matt Bonner in the first unit. Anderson was very impressive on Monday with 15 points, so he could keep it going. He's not worth owning in most leagues with Kawhi Leonard (hand) only day-to-day.

Kyle Anderson scored a career-high 15 points against the Blazers on Monday with five rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes.

He looked great and did a lot of damage on his own in isolation. Anderson was not shooting the ball well to start the season, but he's up to 72.2 percent from the field over his last three. He won't be worth owning now, but keep an eye on him later in the season.

Kyle Anderson made his first NBA start against the Knicks on Wednesday with nine points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer on 4-of-5 from the field.

Slo Mo looked very comfortable out there and had a number of plays drawn up for him tonight. Anderson has a long way to go for consistent minutes, but his career is off to a great start. If he can knock down treys, he'll have a nice career in fantasy and reality.

Kyle Anderson is starting next to Cory Joseph, Danny Green, Matt Bonner and Aron Baynes.

The Spurs are going with a new starting lineup, but they should get a lot out of their bench. Anderson is a lot of fun to watch and has one of the best nicknames in the NBA. Slo Mo is not a great pickup right now.
