Kyle Anderson scored two points with two rebounds and two assists in 13 minutes against the Knicks on Saturday.
A lot has changed since coach Gregg Popovich talked him up during the preseason. Anderson may have a big game in the last week of the regular season, but he's not going to be a fantasy option until then. Mar 25 - 11:38 PM

Kyle Anderson will come off the bench on Saturday.

Anderson will probably get minutes, but he's not a fantasy option as one of the least used players in the NBA.
Mar 25 - 8:44 PM

Kyle Anderson is likely to start for Danny Green (rest) against the Knicks on Saturday.

We've seen Slo-Mo start when Green was hurt earlier this season, so this isn't a surprise. Anderson was not in the rotation on Thursday and most of his minutes this month have been in garbage time. In his seven starts at guard, Anderson averaged just 3.6 points, so Jonathon Simmons looks like he's the better option right now.
Mar 25 - 6:50 PM

Kyle Anderson came off the bench on Monday vs. the Hawks and finished with one rebound in five minutes.

Yep, that basically sums up his fantasy value when Kawhi Leonard is active. Leave him on the wire with confidence.
Mar 14 - 1:14 AM

Kyle Anderson will come off the bench on Monday vs. the Hawks.

This is an expected move with Kawhi Leonard (concussion) cleared to return. Anderson had an impressive game on Saturday vs. the Warriors with 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes, but he's a deep-league asset at best while Leonard is active.
Mar 13 - 8:03 PM

Kyle Anderson scored 13 points with eight rebounds, six assists and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday.

Did someone tell him he was playing in Las Vegas Summer League? Anderson only scored four points in the fourth quarter, so he did some damage before this game was over. It doesn't sound like Kawhi Leonard (concussion) will be out for long, so leave Slo Mo on the wire.
Mar 12 - 1:03 AM

Kyle Anderson is starting against the Warriors on Saturday.

He had been dealing with an ankle issue and wasn't in the rotation earlier this year. Anderson is one of the lowest-used players in the NBA, so he's still a risky player to use in DFS. Although, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him turn in a good game.
Mar 11 - 7:01 PM

Kyle Anderson (knee) will be available to play Saturday vs. the Warriors.

Normally, Anderson's status would not carry much fantasy relevance; however, the Spurs are extremely shorthanded on Saturday. Kawhi Leonard (concussion), LaMarcus Aldridge (heart), Tony Parker (back) and Dejounte Murray (groin) have all been ruled out already. Thus, Anderson may start at small forward on Saturday and will likely see heavy minutes.
Mar 11 - 1:16 PM

Kyle Anderson (ankle/leg) won't travel with the Spurs for Thursday's game in Oklahoma City.

Anderson hurt himself on Wednesday but said after the game that his injury was "nothing serious," so this sounds like a pure precaution from the Spurs. His absence should open up a few more minutes for Jonathon Simmons and Manu Ginobili, assuming the veteran plays in the second half of a back-to-back set.
Mar 8 - 11:26 PM

Kyle Anderson rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter on Wednesday.

He got tripped up as he tried to move in front of Danny Green and grabbed his ankle right away. Anderson limped to the bench to have his leg checked out on the bench, but he went to the locker room about 30 seconds after that.
Mar 8 - 10:30 PM

Kyle Anderson played 22 minutes off the bench and had nine points, five rebounds and one steal in Monday's loss to the Grizzlies.

He got some run with Kawhi Leonard out with a quad injury, but played 12 minutes on Saturday, 24 minutes on Thursday, two minutes last Tuesday, and just 14 minutes on Jan. 29. Ignore him, especially since Leonard's injury isn't thought to be serious.
Feb 7 - 12:36 AM

Kyle Anderson scored four points with five rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and three turnovers in 24 minutes against the 76ers on Thursday.

He saw a lot of run as the small-ball four in the second unit. That could be a thing for the Spurs depending on the matchup, and don't forget coach Gregg Popovich really wanted to play him at the four more back in the preseason. If LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) is out again, Slo-Mo should get minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday. He's only a very deep option in fantasy, of course.
Feb 2 - 11:57 PM

Kyle Anderson returned to the bench on Friday vs. the Pelicans and scored four points in 18 minutes.

He finished 0-of-2 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line, adding two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. In case it's not obvious, Anderson has little to no fantasy value while Kawhi Leonard is healthy.
Jan 28 - 12:32 AM

Kyle Anderson started again on Tuesday vs. the Raptors and scored eight points on 2-of-6 shooting.

Anderson closed the game as the small-ball PF next to LaMarcus Aldridge. He was 4-of-4 from the line and added seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one turnover in 32 minutes. Anderson had 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting with three assists, three rebounds, one steal, two blocks and one triple in a previous start on Monday vs. the Nets, but Kawhi Leonard (hand) has a few days to heal up for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans. Assuming Leonard is good to go, there's no real reason to pick up Anderson outside of very deep leagues.
Jan 24 - 10:13 PM

Kyle Anderson started in place of the resting Kawhi Leonard on Monday vs. the Nets and played well with 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting.

This was one of Anderson's best all-around games of the season. He played a team-high 35 minutes and looked comfortable running the offense, adding three assists, three rebounds, one steal, two blocks and one triple. We'd like to be more excited about this line, but this isn't the summer league and Anderson will return to the bench on Tuesday vs. the Raptors. His usage rate rises from 6.8 to 12.6 with Leonard off the court, so he will be a DFS punt option the next time Leonard gets a night off.
