Kyle Anderson will remain a part of the rotation during the postseason.
"I’ve played him all year," coach Gregg Popovich said. "I don’t know why I’d change it now." Anderson appeared in 78 games this season and his numbers were up across the board, averaging 4.5 points, 3.1 boards, 1.6 assists and 0.8 steals in 16.0 minutes, and he went off in the regular-season finale with 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and five steals in 30 minutes of action with the Spurs resting their studs. "It’s been a good season for me," Anderson said. "I think I’ve grown and matured a bit. I feel like this is a new challenge, with the playoffs coming up. It’s another step to take." Kyle Anderson took advantage of an expanded role on Wednesday with 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and five steals in 30 minutes of action.

Slo-Mo was efficient with 6-of-10 field goals, including one 3-pointer, and he didn't turn the ball over during the Spurs' 96-91 road win. He's emerged as a consistent part of the rotation, but on such a loaded team his role is too limited for use in most fantasy formats.
Apr 14 - 12:34 AM

Kyle Anderson, Andre Miller, David West, Tim Duncan and Jonathon Simmons are starting against the Nuggets on Friday.

The Spurs are resting the other starters besides Duncan. Anderson should be busy with a lot of offense running through him, so he's a nice DFS and streaming option.
Apr 8 - 8:26 PM

Kyle Anderson scored eight points with 11 rebounds, three assists and no turnovers in 20 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

It wasn't his best game, but he will have a big chance on Friday with the Spurs resting players. Keep him in mind as a stream or DFS play on Friday.
Apr 8 - 1:30 AM

Kyle Anderson will come off the bench against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Kawhi Leonard (quad) is back for tonight. Leonard will likely be getting another game off, so Anderson could re-emerge with value at some point later this week.
Mar 30 - 6:57 PM

Kyle Anderson scored 13 points with three rebounds, seven assists, one block, four steals and one 3-pointer against the Grizzlies on Monday.

This is what DFS players were looking for. Anderson is capable of filling up the stat sheet, but he kind of flopped in his previous two starts with averages of 6.5 points, 4.0 boards, 1.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.5 treys. He should have value while Kawhi Leonard (quad) is out, but he does only have two more games this week.
Mar 29 - 12:33 AM

Kyle Anderson made a start for Kawhi Leonard (quad) on Friday with six points, three rebounds, one steal and one block.

That's a pretty big letdown in a big chance for him. Anderson is in a better spot on Saturday against the Thunder, so DFS owners shouldn't totally lose trust in Slo-Mo. Leonard has already been ruled out.
Mar 26 - 12:59 AM

Kyle Anderson will start Friday's game in place of Kawhi Leonard (quad).

Slo-Mo's averages in six starts aren't altogether promising -- 8.5 points, 0.3 threes, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks. Kawhi is day-to-day so Anderson should stay on the waiver wire in the vast majority of leagues.
Mar 25 - 6:56 PM

Kyle Anderson played well vs. the Kings on Saturday, scoring four points with seven boards, two assists, one block and one steal in 28 minutes.

Danny Green was rested and Jonathon Simmons started in his place, but Kyle Anderson started the second half. He doesn't play much when the Spurs are at full strength, but he's someone to keep in mind if coach Gregg Popovich rests his players a lot down the stretch.
Mar 5 - 11:31 PM

Kyle Anderson returned to the Spurs' bench on Wednesday, where he racked up 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting with eight boards, three assists and two steals.

Anderson's minutes stayed the same as when he was a starter, despite Kawhi Leonard's return tonight, which is great news for anyone deploying him in deep leagues. He's chipping in solid boards, assists and steals since the All-Star break, while shooting 62.5 percent from the field.
Feb 25 - 1:18 AM

Kyle Anderson made another fill-in start on Sunday, posting five points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 29 minutes vs. the Suns.

Kawhi was held out as a precaution vs. an inferior opponent, so all signs point to Slo-Mo coming off the bench vs. the Kings on Wednesday. As a reserve this season, Anderson is averaging just 3.5 points in 12.3 minutes per game.
Feb 21 - 8:20 PM

Kyle Anderson scored 14 points on 7-of-14 shooting in a start for Kawhi Leonard (calf) on Friday, adding three boards, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes.

Gregg Popovich described Kawhi's absence as precautionary prior to the game, so Anderson could find himself back on the bench as soon as Sunday’s game vs. the Suns. He makes sense as a cheap DFS option when he’s starting, but Slow Mo belongs on the waiver wire in most season-long settings.
Feb 20 - 4:00 AM

Kyle Anderson will start again on Friday vs. the Lakers with Kawhi Leonard (calf) unavailable.

Anderson should flirt with 30 minutes tonight, but he's not much more than a punt play in DFS. Head coach Gregg Popovich implied that Leonard's absence from tonight's game was more precautionary than anything else, so Anderson's low-end value will be short-lived.
Feb 19 - 9:27 PM

Kyle Anderson got the start on Thursday against the Clippers, playing 28 minutes with eight points, three rebounds one assist and two steals.

It sounds like Kawhi Leonard (calf) is going to miss Friday, so Anderson should be near 30 minutes. He is also likely to have a higher usage rate with the Spurs possibly getting it into garbage time against the Lakers. If Kawhi is indeed out, Anderson could be a cheap DFS option in the plus matchup.
Feb 19 - 1:20 AM

Kyle Anderson will start against the Clippers on Thursday.

Kawhi Leonard (calf) won't play tonight and it's unknown how long he'll be out. Anderson did play 30 minutes in the last game Kawhi missed, so he should be around that amount tonight. He's only worth a look for short-term value in deep leagues.
