Jordan Adams (knee) won't play on Friday against the Rockets.

He doesn't have timetable to return and wasn't in the rotation anyway. Adams can be ignored in all leagues, especially with Mario Chalmers in the fold.

Jordan Adams (knee) will not play on Monday vs. the Thunder.

He is dealing with knee soreness, but it isn't clear when he will be able to return. Adams isn't in the rotation right now anyways, so he can be ignored in fantasy leagues.
Nov 16 - 8:07 PM

Jordan Adams (knee) will not play on Wednesday.

He has knee soreness and should not be out long. Adams probably won't be getting noteworthy minutes any time soon.
Nov 11 - 6:29 PM

Jordan Adams (right knee soreness) will not play vs. the Jazz on Saturday.

Adams had right knee surgery during the summer, so the Grizzlies will obviously want to play it safe here. Adams has made just two brief appearances this season, so his absence won't have any fantasy implications.
Nov 7 - 12:24 PM

The Grizzlies exercised their team option on Jordan Adams.

Adams had right knee surgery during the offseason, but he was able to play 17 minutes in the Grizzlies' final preseason game vs. the Magic. Adams won't be a big part of the rotation early on, but owners should keep him in mind if Courtney Lee or Vince Carter goes down.
Oct 27 - 7:08 PM

Jordan Adams (right knee surgery) did not play vs. the Hawks on Wednesday.

Adams said last Wednesday that he was "about a week away" from returning to the court, but there is no clear indication when he'll be ready for game action. He's likely to spend most of the 2015-16 season in the D-League.
Oct 21 - 10:50 PM

Jordan Adams (right knee surgery) said last Wednesday that he was "about a week away" from returning to action.

"They want to make sure I'm 100 percent and that there won't be any setbacks during the season," said Adams, who had "minor" surgery to repair his meniscus in August. His inability to play in the preseason thus far is another blow to his chances of making the rotation, and he's likely to spend chunks of the season in the D-League.
Oct 19 - 1:44 PM

Jordan Adams had minor right knee surgery on Friday.

The details are not known, but it's likely just a scope. For now, it's fair to assume Adams will be sidelined 4-6 weeks and he should be ready for training camp. He doesn't really do more than score and isn't quite ready to contribute off the bat in his sophomore season.
Aug 8 - 5:16 PM

Jordan Adams carried the offensive load against the Nets during an 81-73 win on Saturday, adding five rebounds, one assist, three steals and three turnovers.

He was on fire to start the game, but the Nets defended him better in the second half. Adams is a go-to scorer when he's on, but the Grizzlies just don't have room for him to be a regular contributor.
Jul 4 - 6:53 PM

Grizzlies head coach Dave Joerger spoke highly of rookie Jordan Adams during a recent interview, saying he's gotten much better as a shooter.

Adams was used sparingly during his rookie season, averaging just 8.3 minutes, 3.1 points and 0.3 three-pointers a game on 40.7 percent shooting from the field. He did, however, have a very nice outing towards the end of the regular-season, going off for 19 points with two 3-pointers. The Grizzlies seriously need to add some 3-point shooting to their roster if they hope to compete at a championship level in today's NBA, and perhaps Adams could fill that role for Memphis. We'll be tracking his progress this offseason, but until he becomes a regular part of the rotation, he won't have any standard league value.
May 22 - 2:03 PM

Jordan Adams scored 19 points off the bench in Monday's loss, hitting 6-of-15 shots (including two threes) with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 21 minutes.

Adams helped bring the team back in the fourth quarter but it's unclear if he'll get any run on Wednesday against the Pacers, who will be playing for their playoff lives. The Grizzlies can still move up in the seeding and all bets are off if any of the injured guys return. Russ Smith's 16 points, two boards, four assists, one steal and one three in just 10 minutes are even more fluky.
Apr 14 - 5:02 AM

Jordan Adams scored a career-high 13 points against the Jazz on Tuesday, adding one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes.

The minutes were also a career-high for the rookie, but Adams got extended run off the bench because Tony Allen was suspended and Beno Udrih was sidelined with an illness. Adams has a bright future in the NBA, but he isn't going to be a key part of the Memphis rotation this season. Leave Adams on the wire.
Mar 3 - 10:57 PM

The Grizzlies recalled G Jordan Adams from the D-League.

Nothing to see here, and Adams should be on the waiver wire in all formats.
Feb 9 - 9:38 AM

Jordan Adams (ankle) was assigned to the NBA D-League on Saturday.

Adams has a bright future in the NBA, but he likely won't crack the rotation in Memphis this season. It's safe to leave Adams on the wire in almost all leagues.
