Glenn Robinson III has made it a priority to improve as a ball handler and playmaker this summer.
"One of the biggest things was my ball handling this summer," said Robinson. "Just being able to create for others, you know, help my teammates out a lot. I wasn’t in a lot of pick-and-roll positions in the past couple of years but that’s one of the biggest things that I’ve been working on this summer." Robinson should see some increased opportunity this upcoming season with Paul George no longer on the roster, but he'll likely begin the year coming off the bench behind Bojan Bogdanovic. Glenn Robinson III (calf) returned to action in Game 2 vs. the Cavaliers on Monday, finishing with four points, two rebounds and a triple in nine minutes.

He basically took Aaron Brooks' minutes (DNP-CD), so Monta Ellis, Lance Stephenson or C.J. Miles weren't really impacted by his return. Robinson hit a triple and grabbed an offensive rebound right when he entered the game and made a nice impact, so maybe the Pacers will give him a few more minutes in Game 3. There's not much fantasy appeal here.

Glenn Robinson III (calf) will be available for Game 2 vs. the Cavaliers on Monday.

As previously mentioned, coach Nate McMillan said that Robinson would see some minutes if he was cleared to play. That's obviously the case, but we'd still expect his workload to be somewhat limited. With Lance Stephenson playing well, DFS owners will probably want to steer clear of Robinson. For what it's worth, Indiana beat writer Nate Taylor speculated that his limit will likely be 15 minutes.

Glenn Robinson III (calf) will see some minutes in Game 2 vs. the Cavaliers if he's cleared by the training staff.

"No question," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. "He's a big guard and we need big guards because they take advantage of small guards." Robinson was recently upgraded to questionable even though he was initially expected to miss most of the series, but it sounds like he's now closer to probable. The Pacers could use his size against LeBron James on the defensive end, but there's not a lot of fantasy appeal here. We should get a better idea of his status after shootaround.

Glenn Robinson (calf) is questionable for Game 2 vs. the Cavaliers on Monday.

He was initially expected to miss most of this series, so this is a mild surprise. In any case, his workload will likely be limited right out of the gate, but it helps that the Pacers may have another body to throw onto LeBron James on the defensive end. However, he's not a lock to have a big role with Lance Stephenson playing well.
Apr 16 - 1:59 PM

Glenn Robinson (calf) remains out for Game 1 against the Cavs.

His calf strain should keep him out for most of this series, but coach Nate McMillan didn't rule him out for games beyond Saturday. With Lance Stephenson in the mix, Robinson III may not be in the rotation anyway.
Apr 14 - 3:54 PM

Glenn Robinson III (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Hawks.

Lance Stephenson will continue to flirt with around 20 minutes off the bench sans Robinson, but he's not doing enough to warrant consideration in most leagues.
Apr 12 - 12:52 PM

Coach Nate McMillan said Glenn Robinson III will miss two weeks due to the calf strain he suffered in practice on Thursday.

With less than three weeks left in the regular season, Robinson may not see the floor again in 2016-17. He should obviously be on waivers in all leagues. C.J. Miles and Thaddeus Young are expected to see a slight uptick in minutes with GR3 sidelined.
Mar 24 - 5:33 PM

Glenn Robinson III (left calf strain) has been ruled out for Friday against the Nuggets.

The team only called it soreness on Thursday, so this new diagnosis for a strain is worse. There is no additional info on the severity or if GR3 needed an MRI, but Robinson was losing playing time anyway. With him out, there should be a few extra minutes going to C.J. Miles, Thaddeus Young and maybe Lavoy Allen.
Mar 24 - 4:46 PM

Glenn Robinson III (sore left calf) is questionable for Friday against the Nuggets.

Perhaps this is why he only played six minutes on Wednesday. The Pacers also did tweak their rotation and made Rodney Stuckey a DNP-CD in the loss. If Robinson III can't go, there should be a few extra minutes for Monta Ellis and C.J. Miles.
Mar 23 - 3:57 PM

Glenn Robinson III did not score in six minutes against the Celtics on Wednesday.

It's his first scoreless game since the break and the first time he's been in single-digit minutes all month. With the Pacers now healthy for the most part, Robinson III may be falling all the way out of the rotation.
Mar 22 - 10:35 PM

Glenn Robinson III hit a game-winning triple during Sunday's victory over Atlanta, ending his evening with 11 points, three 3-pointers, four boards, one steal, one block and one assist in 23 minutes.

The Slam Dunk champ also had an impressive block during crunch time, and his game-winning heroics can be viewed in the link below. GRIII has actually had some sneaky low-end value since the break with averages of 8.0 points, 1.4 triples, 1.2 steals and just 0.4 turnovers per contest on 65.2 shooting, and while the insanely high field goal percentage is obviously not sustainable, he's doing enough to warrant some attention in deep leagues.
Mar 5 - 5:43 PM

Glenn Robinson III played 14 minutes off the bench against the Grizzlies on Friday with five points, three rebounds ,one assist and one 3-pointer.

The reigning dunk champ should see a big hit in playing time. Robinson III won't be worth owning in almost all leagues while the Pacers are healthy. It sounds like Paul George will be OK.
Feb 24 - 9:50 PM

C.J. Miles is expected to start on Friday vs. Memphis, which will bump Glenn Robinson III back to the bench.

Robinson, who won the Dunk Contest last weekend, had started each of the Pacers last three games prior to the All-Star break. On the season, he has started 27 games and been a reserve in the other 28. Robinson is averaging just 4.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 14.6 minutes in those games in which he has come off the bench. He can be left on the wire.
Feb 24 - 5:28 PM

Glenn Robinson III won the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night.

After one of the best Slam Dunk Contests ever last year, this one was a little disappointing. There were a lot of missed dunks and Aaron Gordon just didn't have the bounce that he had last year. Derrick Jones Jr. arguably had the best two dunks on the night, but misses in the final cost him. When he returns to action next week, Robinson III could lose his starting job due to the Pacers looking to deal their first-round pick for some help.
