Glenn Robinson III played 14 minutes off the bench against the Grizzlies on Friday with five points, three rebounds ,one assist and one 3-pointer.
The reigning dunk champ should see a big hit in playing time. Robinson III won't be worth owning in almost all leagues while the Pacers are healthy. It sounds like Paul George will be OK. Feb 24 - 9:50 PM

C.J. Miles is expected to start on Friday vs. Memphis, which will bump Glenn Robinson III back to the bench.

Robinson, who won the Dunk Contest last weekend, had started each of the Pacers last three games prior to the All-Star break. On the season, he has started 27 games and been a reserve in the other 28. Robinson is averaging just 4.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 14.6 minutes in those games in which he has come off the bench. He can be left on the wire.

Glenn Robinson III won the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night.

After one of the best Slam Dunk Contests ever last year, this one was a little disappointing. There were a lot of missed dunks and Aaron Gordon just didn't have the bounce that he had last year. Derrick Jones Jr. arguably had the best two dunks on the night, but misses in the final cost him. When he returns to action next week, Robinson III could lose his starting job due to the Pacers looking to deal their first-round pick for some help.
Feb 18 - 10:29 PM

Glenn Robinson III bounced back on Wednesday with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, adding three 3-pointers, six rebounds and two assists with zero turnovers in 26 minutes.

GR3 went scoreless as a starter on Monday but coach Nate McMillan stuck with him over C.J. Miles tonight. Fantasy owners have already seen what to expect from Robinson as a starter -- in 25 games he averaged 7.3 points, 0.9 threes, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks. Despite tonight's strong game, he can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Feb 15 - 10:18 PM

Glenn Robinson moved into the starting lineup on Monday and missed both his shots, failing to score in 22 minutes in a 110-106 loss to the Spurs.

C.J. Miles moved to the bench and played some power forward, as the Pacers were without Lavoy Allen (knee) and Thaddeus Young (wrist), but the move appears to have backfired. Robinson was awful, Miles hit just 2-of-7 shots for five points, and the Pacers lost the game. Robinson is not a player worth rostering in almost any league these days.
Feb 13 - 9:36 PM

Glenn Robinson will start Monday vs. the Spurs, with C.J. Miles coming off the bench.

The Pacers are without Thaddeus Young (wrist) and Lavoy Allen (knee) tonight, so they're likely bringing Miles off the bench to act as the backup power forward with little other options available. While earning starts at the two-spot this season, Robinson owns averages of just 5.6 points, 4.9 boards and not much else, so he's not a great target in most settings.
Feb 13 - 6:50 PM

Glenn Robinson III vanished on Wednesday, scoring just two points in 15 minutes vs. the visiting Cavaliers.

GR3 was coming off a game in which he scored 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting, but the momentum obviously didn't carry over tonight. Indiana's bench gave them almost nothing prior to garbage time, and they'll need more from guys like Monta Ellis, Al Jefferson and Rodney Stuckey to beat the surging Wizards on Friday.
Feb 8 - 10:13 PM

Glenn Robinson III scored four points with six rebounds, one steal and no turnovers in 27 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday.

As expected, he did pick up the extra minutes with Thaddeus Young (wrist) out. We've seen GR3 post value before, but it's a little different when Paul George is out. He's only worth a look in deep leagues.
Feb 4 - 10:44 PM

Glenn Robinson III did not score in 15 minutes with four rebounds and one turnover against the Nets on Friday.

He'll be in the slam dunk contest later this month, but he may actually be getting more minutes. If Thaddeus Young (wrist) is hurt, the Pacers could use Paul George as a stretch four, which would open up some time for Robinson III. There's no need to pounce here unless you're in a super deep league.
Feb 3 - 11:55 PM

Glenn Robinson III came off the bench on Sunday for 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting, two 3-pointers, six rebounds and zero turnovers in 21 minutes.

GR3 has been playing much better lately, making a combined 12-of-15 shots in his past four games. This was his first double-digit scoring game in January, however, and he has a long way to go before reclaiming standard-league value.
Jan 29 - 8:50 PM

Glenn Robinson III came off the bench and played 18 minutes Monday, finishing with six points, three rebounds and two steals.

C.J. Miles started over GR3 tonight and the move could stick. If you were holding him, it's probably time to move on.
Jan 24 - 12:36 AM

Glenn Robinson III made another start on Saturday against the Knicks with eight points, six rebounds and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

He closed this game out over Monta Ellis. The Pacers seem to be taking it easy on Ellis, but his minutes limit may go away at some point this month. Even though Robinson III has played 27 minutes per game over his last five, he only averaged 9.0 points, 6.4 boards, 1.0 assists, 0.4 blocks, 0.4 steals and 1.2 treys. He's only worth a look in deep leagues and should trend down slightly.
Jan 7 - 9:47 PM

Glenn Robinson III will stick in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Nets.

Monta Ellis' minutes limit is gone, Robinson III's minutes could be dropping to around 20. He won't be a fantasy option tonight even in a great matchup.
Jan 5 - 6:53 PM

Glenn Robinson III scored 12 points with 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

This comes after a 20-minute dud on Wednesday. Coach Nate McMillan said after the game he wouldn't commit to starting Robinson III, and chances are he will be coming off the bench. He's a drop candidate in most leagues, despite this solid game.
Fri, Dec 30, 2016 07:28:00 PM

Glenn Robinson III will start again on Friday against the Bulls.

He only played 20 minutes on Wednesday, so clearly his minutes are headed downward. Robinson III an obvious drop candidate and could see a bigger dip tonight.
