Glenn Robinson III matched his season-high with 13 points in a 119-93 blowout loss to Charlotte on Tuesday, adding eight rebounds, one assist and three triples in a team-high 40 minutes.
Only one other Pacer played more than 30 minutes and that was Lance Stephenson. Victor Oladipo (foot), Bojan Bogdanovic (rest) and Thaddeus Young (rest) were all given the night off since the Pacers have already clinched the No. 5 seed, so that explains the big minutes for Robinson. He's now scored 12+ points in three straight games and is hitting his stride heading into the postseason where he will likely see minutes in the high teens to lower 20s. Apr 10 - 9:11 PM

Date:

Glen Robinson III will move into the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Hornets.

Thaddeus Young (rest) will be watching from the sidelines tonight, so Robinson could be flirting with minutes in the 30s, putting him on the radar as a potential deep league streamer. Over the past two games, GRIII has come through with averages of 12.5 points, 3.0 triples, 1.5 boards, 1.0 assist and 1.0 turnover per game on 61.5% shooting.
Apr 10 - 5:24 PM

Glenn Robinson III finished with a team-high 12 points off the bench across 20 minutes in Friday's 92-73 road loss at Toronto.

It was a frightful night of shooting for all Pacers, as Robinson was the only player to make more buckets than he missed, going 4-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-5 from behind the 3-point line. Indiana ended up shooting just 29.9 percent (26-87) on the evening, and the five starters were just 8-of-36 (22.2 percent) from the field.
Apr 6 - 10:07 PM

Glenn Robinson III (ankle) made his season debut on Friday vs. the Hawks, scoring four points with two rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes.

Coach Nate McMillan was only expecting him to play 5-10 minutes, but he looked pretty good out there. GRIII will be in the rotation going forward, but he'll be the fourth wing option behind Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic and Lance Stephenson. He's not on the radar in most leagues, but it's good to see him back after a lengthy absence.
Feb 23 - 10:13 PM

Glenn Robinson III (left ankle) has been cleared to return and he expects to play Friday vs. the Hawks.

Head coach Nate McMillan said he "could see" GRIII earning minutes in the 5-10 minute range on Friday night, but wouldn't guarantee he'd actually get out there. Either way, he'll be eased back into things slowly, and with how well Bojan Bogdanovic has played this year, it'll be tough for GRIII to earn enough minutes to matter in most formats.
Feb 21 - 1:06 PM

Coach Nate McMillan said that Glenn Robinson III (left ankle) likely won't return until after the All-Star break.

Robinson III has been making progress in his rehab and has been playing for the Pacers G-League affiliate. However, the Pacers don't want to rush him back to the big leagues. There is a nine-day break between the last game before the All-Star break and the first game after. GRIII will be on a minutes limit when he gets back, which limits his fantasy value. He should be left on waivers.
Feb 6 - 9:33 AM

Glenn Robinson III (left ankle) will not play Monday vs. the Wizards.

He's inching his way closer towards making his regular-season debut, but he's still not quite ready. GRIII will likely be dealing with too many restrictions this season to establish himself as a relevant name in fantasy hoops.
Feb 5 - 5:44 PM

Glenn Robinson III (left ankle) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Wizards.

He played a game in the G-League this week, so it's just a matter of whether or not the Pacers feel comfortable throwing him out there. He'll have heavy restrictions, so fantasy owners can watch his progress from the wire.
Feb 4 - 11:31 AM

The Pacers have assigned Glenn Robinson III to their G-League affiliate.

Robinson is inching his way back towards a return to NBA game action. This is his second rehab assignment this week. He should be back around the All-Star break. He can be left on waivers.
Feb 3 - 11:44 AM

Glenn Robinson III (left ankle) has been assigned to the G-League.

This is the last step of his rehab. Robinson will play for the Mad Ants on Thursday and should be ready to make his season debut for the Pacers any day now. He'll have restrictions early on and will compete for minutes with Bojan Bogdanovic.
Feb 1 - 9:26 AM

Glenn Robinson III (left ankle) practiced with the team on Tuesday for the first time since September, but coach Nate McMillan said he is "still a ways away."

Robinson told reporters earlier this month that he was hoping to return before the All-Star break, but McMillan said on Tuesday that there was only a "small chance" that happens. GRIII will be eased back into action once he is cleared to play, and will likely be on a minutes restriction. He should be left on waivers in all standard leagues.
Jan 23 - 1:18 PM

Glenn Robinson III (ankle surgery) said he's hoping to return before the All-Star break (starts Feb. 15).

Robinson practiced on Sunday which would've indicated that he's ahead of schedule, but it was reportedly only half-court drills. "I'm going to try," Robinson said. "I'm going to do everything I can to try. I'm really itching to get out there. They're not telling me an expected time; all I know is I'm feeling great these past three days." Coach Nate McMillan said he's not close to game action, so he's safe to leave on the wire in most formats.

Jan 8 - 11:49 AM

Glenn Robinson III (ankle) said that he practiced for the first time on Sunday.

He added that he's ahead of schedule, but he didn't mention a return date. His original timetable had him returning around mid-January, so if he's ahead of schedule then he could be back any day now. He'll be eased into the rotation very slowly and he'll have to compete with Lance Stephenson for minutes behind Victor Oladipo and Bojan Bogdanovic, so he doesn't have much stash appeal at the moment.
Jan 7 - 1:43 PM

Glenn Robinson III (ankle) said that he's been cleared to run, jump and shoot since Dec. 8.

He added that he's feeling great, but he wasn't ready to put a timetable on his return. The Pacers will continue to evaluate him as his workload ramps up, and it sounds like he's on track to return right after the new year. Bojan Bogdanovic has played really well in the starting lineup, so Robinson isn't the greatest stash.

Glenn Robinson III (ankle) is no longer in a walking boot.

He was also doing some light shooting on Thursday, but he wasn't taking any jumpers. Robinson III had ankle surgery back in early October and was given a timetable of 3-4 months, so it's still unlikely that we'll see him before the new year. He's not a great stash with Bojan Bogdanovic playing well.
