Glenn Robinson III scored a career-high 17 points against the Bucks on Saturday, making 6-of-7 from the field with two steals and four 3-pointers.
That's good for an outstanding 114.3 effective field goal percentage. Robinson has been a very nice pickup for the Pacers after being jettisoned by several teams, but he's still going to be buried on the depth chart once the Pacers are 100 percent. Nov 22 - 1:13 AM

Frank Vogel once again praised Glen Robinson III's performance on the floor.

"The way he played in September and in training camp, I knew I was going to be eager to find opportunities to try to get him in there," Vogel said. "He’s doing a great job when he’s in there." Robinson doesn't believe he's a developmental project and is ready to "learn on the run." Crediting Paul George for his mentorship on and off the court, Robinson is a name to monitor from the waiver wire.
Nov 16 - 9:42 AM

Glenn Robinson III is likely to make his regular-season debut Wednesday vs. the Celtics.

Frank Vogel said that Robinson could get "decent minute" tonight with C.J. Miles (ankle) on the shelf, but it's unclear exactly what decent translates to. We'd be surprised if Robinson's playing time exceeds the low-teens, so while he'll likely finally make it out onto the court for some game-time action, he's still not someone worth deploying in most formats.
Nov 4 - 6:16 PM

Glenn Robinson III (shoulder) is available to play in Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons.

Robinson is currently behind Chase Budinger and Rodney Stuckey in the rotation, so there are no guarantees he makes his regular-season debut tonight despite being available. It'll take more than a few injuries for Robinson to become a relevant name in fantasy hoops.
Nov 3 - 6:54 PM

Glenn Robinson III (shoulder) is questionable to play in Indiana's regular-season opener against Toronto on Wednesday.

Robinson isn't going to be a major factor in the Pacers' rotation while the team is healthy, so his potential absence from the lineup wouldn't mean much with regards to fantasy hoops.
Oct 27 - 2:22 PM

Glenn Robinson III has exceeded the Pacers' expectations so far in the preseason.

"He’s not just shooting the ball well, but he’s making pretty good decisions out there," Frank Vogel said. "You feel good when he’s making an attack to the basket." Larry Bird has expressed a lot of confidence in Robinson, and perhaps it's starting to translate to his improvement on the floor. Still, there is a logjam on the wing, and Robinson has a lot to prove in order to crack the rotation.
Oct 26 - 10:51 AM

Glenn Robinson III will be in the starting lineup for Thursday's preseason finale against the Hornets with Monta Ellis out due to an upper respiratory infection.

Robinson has shown flashes during the preseason, but he'll struggle to find meaningful minutes once the games start to matter. Firmly behind C.J. Miles, Chase Budinger, and Solomon Hill in the rotation, Robinson isn't worth drafting in any league.
Oct 22 - 5:41 PM

Coach Frank Vogel recently heaped praise on Glen Robinson III.

"What he showed in September is that he's real," Vogel said. "He's not a couple-years- away guy. We have guys ahead of him probably, but there were days in September when he was the best player on the court. That was very, very impressive to me." Robinson is going to have to do a lot more impressing in order to crack the rotation, and he's not someone for you to worry about in any fantasy format.
Oct 19 - 9:11 AM

Glenn Robinson came off the bench and had 13 points and six rebounds on 5-of-6 shooting in 24 minutes on Tuesday.

The Pacers gave their deep reserves a long look tonight, and while we don't expect Robinson to be worth owning this season, he is showing improvement as he continues to develop.
Oct 13 - 10:14 PM

Coach Frank Vogel said Glenn Robinson III is likely going to spend some time in the D-League.

It's not a surprise and perhaps the biggest part of this is that Joseph Young may stay up with the big club. Robinson III can be ignored in most formats.
Oct 1 - 11:55 PM

Larry Bird spoke highly about the recent addition of Glenn Robinson III to his Pacers squad.

"Glenn comes to us with a set of skills we think will blend in with our team," Bird said. "We expect him to be very good on the defensive end and he can score the ball. We look forward to seeing him improve throughout the year." Robinson will have the chance to learn from Paul George which should speed up his development, but he likely isn't ready to contribute in Indiana right away. Robinson is not on the radar in fantasy leagues.
Jul 29 - 11:49 AM

Glenn Robinson has reached an agreement with the Pacers to sign a three-year deal.

Robinson didn't make any noise on the 76ers last season, so there is no reason to think that he will have more than a limited role in Indiana. He averaged 11.8 points with 3.2 boards, 1.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks for the Hawks during summer league, but he is safe to ignore in most fantasy leagues.
Jul 25 - 12:21 PM

Glenn Robinson III secured the game-winning rebound during Sunday's Summer League win over the Warriors, scoring 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting to go with one 3-pointer, one assist, three rebounds, two steals, two blocks and three turnovers over 19 minutes of action.

Robinson is fighting to make the Hawks roster, but he put in a solid effort tonight. However, if he is able to make the team, he won't be anything more than an emergency depth kind of guy, and will be a negligible fantasy option in standard leagues. We'll continue to track his progress at Summer League, but he's not going to be worth drafting in most leagues.
Jul 12 - 11:08 PM

The Hawks have added Glenn Robinson III to their Summer League roster.

Robinson will put his skills on display at Summer League, but he's a longshot to make Atlanta's regular-season roster.
Jul 9 - 9:41 PM

The 76ers did not extend a qualifying offer to Glenn Robinson III, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Robinson, the 40th overall selection in the 2014 NBA draft, played for two teams his rookie year (Minnesota and Philadelphia) compiling averages of 2.1 points and 1.1 rebounds on 38.8 percent shooting from the field. There are no guarantees he's on an NBA roster when the 2015-16 season begins, and he can safely be ignored in all leagues.
