Semaj Christon started on Tuesday vs. the Wolves and scored two points with six assists, three rebounds and one steal in 30 minutes.
Russell Westbrook was one of a few Thunder players who were resting, so that's why Christon was in the lineup. He finished just 1-of-5 from the field and took a backseat with Victor Oladipo running the offense. Even if Westbrook is rested again on Wednesday, fantasy owners can ignore Christon. Semaj Christon, Kyle Singler and Domantas Sabonis will start on Tuesday vs. the Wolves.

In case you missed it, Russell Westbrook, Taj Gibson and Andre Roberson are resting, while Doug McDermott is out with left knee soreness. Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams are also in the starting lineup, and they are clearly the best targets in fantasy leagues. Most fantasy owners can ignore Christon.

Semaj Christon logged 23 minutes during Wednesday's road win, but he finished with only three points, three assists and one steal.

Andre Roberson (knee) left early tonight, which thrust more minutes onto Christon and Doug McDermott (10 points, seven rebounds in 32 minutes). It's nice to see Christon getting significant run for a playoff-bound team, but he's done nothing to warrant fantasy owners' attention.
Apr 5 - 11:09 PM

Semaj Christon did not take any shots or turn the ball over against the Spurs on Thursday, adding three assists and two steals in 19 minutes.

Three dimes and a zero usage rate is impressive. Christon still doesn't have fantasy value even though he could be ahead of Norris Cole.
Mar 10 - 12:10 AM

Semaj Christon could remain in the rotation when Cameron Payne (foot) returns.

"We’re getting another creating guard to come in to help with ballhandling, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that Semaj is cut out of the mix," head coach Billy Donovan said. "It could be a situation where those guys are actually on the floor together some." Christon has been getting about 17 minutes per night, but the return of Payne will inevitably impact his role going forward despite these comments. Christon is not a fantasy asset.

Jan 5 - 11:08 AM

Semaj Christon played 12 minutes and hit 5-of-6 shots and a 3-pointer for a career-high 11 points, one rebound and two assists in Monday's loss to the Bucks.

Nothing to see here, but it was nice to see him get hot and hit some shots.
Jan 2 - 10:40 PM

Semaj Christon scored two points in 27 minutes against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Russell Westbrook was ejected tonight, but Christon didn't take advantage of his opportunity, shooting just 1-of-4 from the field with four assists, three rebounds, one steal, one block and two turnovers. Cameron Payne (foot) is on the verge of a return, so Christon will be demoted to third-string PG duties soon.

Semaj Christon (concussion) returned to action on Tuesday, but missed both of his shots in four minutes of action.

At best, Christon will see minutes in the teens while the Thunder are healthy. Leave him on the wire.

Semaj Christon (concussion) is active for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers.

He's averaging 16.0 minutes per game in 13 appearances and should slide back into his backup PG role. Christon is not a fantasy pickup.

Semaj Christon (concussion) was an active participant during Tuesday morning's shootaround.

He's still going through the concussion protocol, and the Thunder have not yet updated his status for Tuesday night's game against the Lakers. Victor Oladipo will continue to pick up some extra minutes at the point guard position if Christon can't give it a go tonight.

Semaj Christon (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers.

Josh Huesties will join the active roster with Christon on the sidelines, but there are no guarantees Huesties will see the court tonight. Victor Oladipo will likely log some extra minutes with the second unit sans Christon, which would be a boon to his value.

Semaj Christon is in the concussion protocol and suffered a non-displaced left facial fracture.

Christon took a hard hit to the head in the second half of Friday night's victory over the Nets. He looked dazed and in pain, and was helped back to the locker room. He won't be able to rejoin the team until he's cleared the protocol.

Semaj Christon played 20 minutes against the Clippers on Friday with nine points, four rebounds and one 3-pointer.

He played seven minutes next to Russell Westbrook tonight, so Christon is getting some more depth to his role. In the previous five games, Christon only played a combined seven minutes next to Westy. The trust from coach Billy Donovan is a good sign for him if OKC has an injury to their first unit. Just keep an eye on him in most cases.

Semaj Christon has reportedly made the Thunder's final 15-man roster.

This means that OKC will be waiving both Mitch McGary and Ronnie Price. Price had a guaranteed contract in which he was owed $2.6 million this season and $2.4 million in 2017-18. Thus, we are able to infer that Christon made a strong impression on Thunder coaches/management. The only other true PG on the Thunder roster is Cameron Payne (foot), who is sidelined indefinitely due to a foot fracture. This means Christon may be relied upon as Russell Westbrook's primary back up. We know Westbrook will play a ton of minutes each night, so Christon will have limited value in most standard leagues. However, if Westbrook were ever to miss an extended period of time, Christon would suddenly be in line to play extended minutes.

With Cameron Payne (foot) now out indefinitely, Semaj Christon's chances of making the opening night roster with the Thunder has improved.

Christon still wouldn't be anything more than the third-string point guard in OKC, with Ronnie Price set to soak up most of the reserve point guard minutes sans Payne, so he's not worth drafting anywhere.
