Johnny O'Bryant returned to the bench on Friday and only managed to produce seven points on 3-of-5 shooting (1-of-1 from the stripe), without offering any other statistics through 11 minutes of action.
O'Bryant played 30 minutes in a spot-start on Tuesday, but he went back to his irrelevant bench role tonight. O'Bryant is far too inconsistent to warrant a roster spot in most leagues, particularly with Jason Kidd at the helm constantly tinkering with his rotations. Apr 8 - 10:44 PM

Johnny O'Bryant is moving to the bench on Friday against the Celtics.

He should still get some run, but he will likely be in the lower 20s tonight with the Bucks going small here. O'Bryant isn't the worst stream for boards and some points.
Apr 8 - 6:21 PM

Johnny O'Bryant played 30 minutes as a fill-in starter on Tuesday, scoring 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist and one turnover.

Kris Middleton (thigh) was out of commission and Jason Kidd opted for a big frontcourt of Greg Monroe, O'Bryant and Jabari Parker. It didn't work out, as the Bucks were destroyed by 29 points on their home court, and O'Bryant is likely headed back to the bench vs. Boston on Friday.
Apr 5 - 11:01 PM

Johnny O'Bryant will move into the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cavs, sending Damien Inglis back to the bench.

Khris Middleton (thigh) will sit out Tuesday's game, which is why O'Bryant is drawing the start, although O'Bryant is an unattractive option in most leagues despite the increased opportunity. Through three starts this season, O'Bryant has compiled measly averages of 7.3 points, 5.0 boards and not much else on 41.2 percent shooting.
Apr 5 - 6:43 PM

Johnny O'Bryant (personal) is unlikely to play on Friday against the Heat.

He is expecting his first child today. With O'Bryant likely out, that should mean more Jabari Parker in the starting lineup while the Bucks could go smaller, especially with Hassan Whiteside (hip) out.
Jan 29 - 6:28 PM

Johnny O'Bryant played a career-high 34 minutes against the Nuggets on Wednesday with 11 points, nine rebounds, three assists and one block.

Wow, that's a lot of minutes and he crushed his previous career high of 28. Jabari Parker (knee) was resting tonight, so O'Bryant won't be getting minutes often. Plus, his numbers as a starter last year were pretty bad.

Johnny O'Bryant is listed as the starter to face the Nuggets.

He won't play much and it'll be Giannis Antetokounmpo playing a lot of minutes at the four tonight.

Johnny O'Bryant will come off the bench for Monday's game vs. the Nets.

The Bucks are going small and will insert Jerryd Bayless in at shooting guard, but O'Bryant was going to lose his spot anyways because Jabari Parker (knee) will return on Wednesday. O'Bryant is not an option in fantasy leagues.
Mon, Nov 2, 2015 06:54:00 PM

Johnny O'Bryant will again start at power forward for Sunday's game against the Raptors.

Jabari Parker still isn't ready to make his regular-season debut, so it'll be O'Bryant, Chris Copeland and Giannis Antetokounmpo manning the four-spot for the Bucks on Sunday. O'Bryant failed to do much with this starting role on Friday, putting up just nine points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal through 28 minutes of action, so despite the starting role, he's not worth deploying in almost any league.

Johnny O'Bryant is starting at power forward and Chris Copeland will move to the bench.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is back, so the Bucks want a bigger body at starting power forward against the Wizards. O'Bryant is not a fantasy option based on how he averaged just 4.1 points and 1.5 boards in his 15 starts last season.

Johnny O'Bryant is dealing with hamstring and heel injuries.

He was set for big minutes this week, but he might be out for the rest of the event. With the Bucks adding Greg Monroe, there won't be much playing time for Bryant, who started 15 games last season.
Mon, Jul 13, 2015 04:26:00 PM

Johnny O'Bryant played three minutes on Monday after missing Sunday's game because his fiancée was having their baby.

O'Bryant doesn't have any fantasy value as one look at his game log will tell you.
Mon, Feb 23, 2015 10:45:00 PM

Johnny O'Bryant left Sunday's game against the Hawks because his fiancé went into labor.

O'Bryant isn't in the rotation right now anyways, so his absence didn't have many fantasy implications. The Bucks play the Bulls on Monday, so we will go ahead and consider O'Bryant questionable to play in that one.
Sun, Feb 22, 2015 06:52:00 PM

Johnny O'Bryant will come off the bench for Thursday's game against the Jazz with Ersan Ilyasova replacing him.

O'Bryant's days in the starting lineup were numbered to begin with, and it's clear that he has a long way to go before being a respectable asset in fantasy leagues. Feel free to cut him across the board.
Thu, Jan 22, 2015 06:30:00 PM

Johnny O'Bryant played just six minutes in another start on Tuesday, scoring four points with one board and one assist.

This was the second game in a row that he saw just six minutes of action, so it's clear that his time in the sun is probably up. Ersan Ilyasova is healthy again so it is just a matter of time before O'Bryant loses his starting gig. If this stat line is any indication, you can leave him on the wire in almost all formats.
