Johnny O'Bryant (knee) is considered questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Clippers.

He likely won't be in the rotation upon his return and would need an injury to Zaza Pachulia or Larry Sanders before owners in deep leagues should pay him any attention. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Dec 13 - 1:41 PM

Johnny O'Bryant (knee) did some more work at practice on Friday.

He doesn't have a timetable to return and is up in the air for Saturday. The Bucks need a big man behind Larry Sanders and Zaza Pachulia, so O'Bryant has an outside shot at playing time. Of course, he's not worth owning in any league.
Dec 12 - 2:13 PM

Johnny O'Bryant (knee) returned to practice on Thursday, and is nearing a return.

O'Bryant isn't likely to be a key rotation player for the Bucks, and he can be left on the wire in all leagues.
Dec 11 - 4:11 PM

Johnny O'Bryant has been diagnosed with a grade III sprain of the MCL in his right knee, and the Bucks aren't yet putting a timetable on his return.

Generally players can recover from this injury in 6-8 weeks, so we'll be penciling him in for a late November return. That being said, O'Bryant is buried on the depth chart behind Zaza Pachulia, John Henson, and Larry Sanders, so he's not someone that should be targeted in any league.

Johnny O'Bryant (knee) will not suit up for Tuesday's preseason game vs. the Cavs.

The severity of O'Bryant's knee injury is not yet known, but either way, he's not going to be someone worth drafting in standard leagues.
Oct 13 - 2:50 PM

Johnny O'Bryant suffered a right knee sprain on Thursday and will not return.

He needed assistance off the court and it doesn't sound good. O'Bryant looked great at summer league and could have made the team, but this injury will definitely hurts his chances. The team will likely give him an MRI in the next couple days.
Oct 9 - 9:53 PM

Rookie C Johnny O'Bryant enjoyed his time playing for the Bucks' Summer League squad.

"It was just getting used to the NBA-style offense we ran, getting used to the different play clock and the NBA rules," O'Bryant said Friday. "But overall it was a fun experience for me." While the Bucks aren't exactly brimming with talent, it will still be difficult for O'Bryant to see quality minutes during his rookie campaign. He is not someone to target in standard leagues.
Aug 1 - 6:07 PM

Bucks sign C Johnny O'Bryant.

He turned in an impressive summer league, averaging 8.2 points, 5.2 boards, 0.6 steals and 0.6 blocks in 18.2 minutes per game. O'Bryant was the 36th pick in the draft and the team said they viewed him as a first-round talent. He'll have to work on his conditioning, but he could wind up making the Bucks given their lack of an interior presence.

The Bucks selected LSU center Johnny O'Bryant with the 36th pick in the draft.

He used his weight in the paint at 257 pounds, but O'Bryant is just 6'8" with a wingspan of 7'2". He was a great on the offensive glass, which was an issue for the Bucks, but he won't be getting many minutes in his rookie season. He'll need to work on his conditioning before getting in a rotation.
