Devyn Marble missed his lone shot attempt vs. Detroit on Wednesday, finishing scoreless with three rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes of action.
He started again with Tobias Harris (ankle) returning in a bench role, but all signs point to Marble being benched on Friday. His muted production while starting indicates his lack of upside, and he should be dropped by any owners who picked him up for short-term production. Jan 21 - 10:29 PM

Devyn Marble was invisible in another start on Sunday, finishing a blowout loss to OKC with three points, one rebound, two assists and one turnover in 20 minutes.

Marble made a splash when he first took over for Tobias Harris in the starting lineup, but he's gone cold over the past three games with averages of 4.7 points on 4-of-19 shooting, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and zero steals or blocks. Look elsewhere for temporary value.

Devyn Marble had another solid night in Monday's win over the Bulls, scoring five points on 2-of-4 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 31 minutes.

Marble now has eight steals in his last two games and unfortunately for his fantasy value he'll have a hard time being relevant when Evan Fournier (knee) and Tobias Harris (ankle) return. But if he ever finds a path to consistent minutes, owners will want to remember these games.

Devyn Marble played 25 minutes in his first NBA start on Saturday with six points, three rebounds, two assists, five steals and no turnovers.

It was almost a perfect storm for Marble with Evan Fournier (knee) and Tobias Harris (ankle) out tonight. He's going to need both guys to miss time in order to have fantasy value in even deep leagues. That said, this was a nice game for him.

Devyn Marble will start for the Magic on Saturday against Portland in place of Tobias Harris (ankle).

It will be the first start of his NBA career and he should see a decent amount of minutes with the Magic shorthanded on Saturday. However, Marble figures to head right back to the end of the bench when Harris returns to action so there's no reason to add him in almost any league.
Jan 10 - 9:55 PM

The Orlando Magic have recalled Devyn Marble from the D-League.

Marble will likely serve a bench role for the Magic, so fantasy owners can feel free to leave him on waivers.
Jan 1 - 12:03 PM

Devyn Marble has been assigned to the D-League.

He'll play for the Erie BayHawks and should be back with the Magic soon. Marble has no fantasy value right now.

Devyn Marble (rotator cuff) was back on the active roster for Saturday's game, but did not see any action.

His role will be minimal at best, but it is at least good to see him finally healthy after four weeks on the sidelines. You can continue to ignore him in almost all leagues.

Devyn Marble (rotator cuff) is making progress toward a return.

Marble still hasn't been cleared for full-contact practice or scrimmages, but he said he's feeling better. He won't have a real role to return to whenever he is ready to play, so fantasy owners can safely ignore the rookie.

Devyn Marble (rotator cuff) is inactive for Saturday's game.

He is expected to be out until late November so this news comes as no surprise. He will make a full recovery without having to have surgery which is great news for him. Marble won't see enough minutes to warrant your attention in almost any fantasy league, so you can safely leave him on the waiver wire.

Devyn Marble may miss a few weeks with a sprained rotator cuff.

The good news is that he will not require surgery and should be 100 percent after resting until at least late November. There aren't any minutes available for Marble at the SG spot in Orlando, which keeps him off he radar in all but the deepest fantasy formats.

Devyn Marble (rotator cuff) did not play on Tuesday.

The Magic rookie isn't part of coach Jacque Vaughn's rotation, so there's no incentive for him to return before he's 100 percent healthy.

Devyn Marble (strained rotator cuff) will not suit up Sunday vs. the Nets.

Marble sustained the injury during Orlando's last possession during Friday's win over the Timberwolves, and there's currently no timetable for his return. However, Marble hasn't scored a point since the Magic's regular-season opener, so he is obviously not an option in any league.

Magic rookie Devyn Marble made both of his field goals in three minutes as Orlando fell on the road to New Orleans on Tuesday.

Orlando took Marble with the No. 56 pick in this summer's draft, but he had a small role during the preseason and isn't a fantasy option even while Victor Oladipo (facial fracture) is out of commission.

The Orlando Magic have agreed on a three-year contract with second-round pick Devyn Marble.

The three-year deal will fully guarantee Marble's rookie season, while his second and third year will become guaranteed after specific trigger dates. Marble posted solid stats during five Summer League games, but will is more of a project and won't find enough minutes in 2014-15 to provide much fantasy value.
