Magic assign G Devyn Marble to the D-League.

He isn't in the rotation in Orlando, so it makes sense to give him some run in the D-League.
Jan 1 - 1:06 PM

Devyn Marble said it's beneficial for him to be in the D-League.

He also said he doesn't have to wear his protective goggles, but he does anyway. Marble won't be in the rotation unless the Magic have an injury or two.

Devyn Marble has been recalled from his D-League stint.

There's not a league out there where Marble's playing status is a relevant factor.

Magic assign G Devyn Marble to the D-League.

Marble needs playing time that he isn't getting in Orlando.

Devyn Marble went scoreless in six minutes during his season debut for Orlando on Wednesday, missing all four of his shot attempts.

He entered the game once Victor Oladipo was ruled out with concussion-like symptoms. Marble had a few nice performances last season, which DFS owners might remember, but he won't make a dent in standard leagues even if Oladipo and C.J. Watson (calf) miss Orlando's games on Friday and/or Saturday.

Devyn Marble will be on the active roster for Friday's game vs. the Raptors.

With Nikola Vuvevic (knee) on the inactive list, Marble was able to join the active roster tonight, but it's unlikely he sees enough floor time to matter in any league.

Devyn Marble spent some time as a makeshift PG for the Magic on Wednesday, handing out four assists with six points and one steal in 16 minutes off the bench.

Point guard is not a role Marble will play during the regular season, and we can chalk this up to pure preseason experimentation by coach Scott Skiles. There's nothing to see here.

Devyn Marble is likely to spend more time in the D-League this season.

Marble was up and down between the Magic and D-League before eye surgery late in his rookie season, and it sounds like Orlando still wants to see more from him after he showed very little during his inaugural season.

Devyn Marble was back at the Magic's practice facility for the first time since he had surgery on his eye, but the rookie likely won't even be able to practice for the remainder of the season.

The Magic have no need to rush him back and they will take every precaution they can to allow him ample time to recover. We will track his progress closely, but it's safe to leave him on the wire in all leagues.

Devyn Marble (eye) had successful surgery on his retina on Tuesday, and he does not have a timetable to return.

We wish him the best as he recovers from his surgery, but there is a good chance that he doesn't return this season. It's safe to leave Marble on the wire.

Devyn Marble (eye) will miss the next 4-6 weeks due to a detached retina in his left eye.

He could miss the rest of the season. Marble surpassed most expectations as far as playing time goes, averaging 2.3 points, 1.9 boards, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals in 13.0 minutes per game in 16 outings. He can be cut in most leagues.

Devyn Marble was recalled from the NBA D-League on Saturday.

He hasn't played for the Magic since Jan. 25, and he likely won't be in the rotation anytime soon. Unless a few injuries open up some playing time for the rookie, Marble belongs on the wire.
Sat, Feb 21, 2015 12:01:00 PM

Devyn Marble has yet again been sent down for a D-League stint.

This is what Marble does, and with season averages of just 2.3 points on 31.8 percent shooting, he can safely remain on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Tue, Feb 17, 2015 06:48:00 PM

Devyn Marble is inactive on Wednesday against the Knicks.

He was a DNP-CD on Monday even with Tobias Harris out, so this isn't a surprise. Fantasy owners should expect to see Evan Fournier get the most run in Harris' place with a little extra playing time from Aaron Gordon. Fournier is coming off an 18-point, 33-minute game on Monday, so give him a look for tonight.
