Date:

Eric Moreland didn't take any shots on Friday with three rebounds, two turnovers and three fouls in 12 minutes against the Wizards.

He's currently the No. 2 center with Boban Marjanovic getting an inactive today. Boban DFS support group meets on Thursday. Punch and pie will be served. As for Moreland, he won't play enough to have value in almost any league.
Oct 20 - 11:41 PM

Pistons PF Eric Moreland acknowledged that he's had a "real bad mental state about free throws," but he thinks those problems are behind him.

Moreland shot 37.7 percent from the line for the Canton Charge last season, while averaging an impressive 12.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.7 steals in 33.4 minutes per game. He has a non-guaranteed three-year deal with Detroit and it would take a few injuries for him to help fantasy owners, regardless of his success on free throws.
Aug 9 - 11:24 PM

Eric Moreland's deal with the Pistons is for three years at the veteran's minimum.

The deal won't be fully guaranteed until July of 2019, so he will still have to impress at training camp to stick around. "I’m not even thinking about dates or anything like that or how it’s structured," Moreland said. "I’m going out and doing what I do best." The 6'10" forward only has 11 NBA games under his belt with the Kings, but he was named an NBA G-League All-Star last season with averages of 12.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.7 blocks, 1.7 steals and 33.4 minutes. He will open the season as the third-string center behind Andre Drummond and Boban Marjanovic, so he's not on the fantasy radar for now.

The Cavaliers have waived forward Eric Moreland.

They had to waive him in order to make room for Toney Douglas. We'll let you know if Moreland latches on with another team before the preseason ends.

Eric Moreland has reportedly signed a training camp deal with the Cavs.

The Cavs do have roster space, so there's a chance Moreland could earn himself a deal for the veteran's minimum in Cleveland. However, even if he does manage to last past training camp, his fantasy value will be non-existent while the team is at full strength.

The Cavaliers are interested in bringing in Eric Moreland for training camp, according to David Pick.

Moreland would be nothing more than a camp invite for the Cavaliers, but Pick reports the 24-year-old is on Cleveland's radar. While Moreland could hook on as a bench player for the Cavs, he wouldn't carry any fantasy value.

Eric Moreland (sore left foot) will not return to Wednesday's game, leaving the Kings with seven available players.

Moreland finishes scoreless with three rebounds and one assist in four minutes. The Kings' plan to tank tonight's game by resting nearly all of their players is working to perfection, as they trail the Rockets by 21 points mid-way through the fourth quarter.

Eric Moreland scored four points with one rebound in 12 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday.

He's back and he might be a factor in the final two games of the season. Just keep Moreland in mind in very deep leagues. He probably won't play on Saturday.

The Kings have recalled Eric Moreland from the D-League.

With DeMarcus Cousins suspended for Friday's game vs. the Heat and expected to sit out against Denver on Saturday, it's possible that Moreland could get some minutes this weekend. To be clear, he's not a fantasy option.

Eric Moreland has been assigned to the D-League.

He's been cleared to play after successfully rehabbing his foot from his surgery back in December, but he will have to work on his conditioning in the D-League for now. Fantasy owners can leave him on the wire.

Eric Moreland (left foot surgery) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Pelicans.

Moreland underwent surgery to repair a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot back in December, and while it sounds like he'll be available to play tonight, it's extremely unlikely he earns enough minutes to make a difference in any league. Leave him on the wire.

Eric Moreland underwent surgery to repair a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot on Monday.

Moreland is expected to resume basketball activities in eight weeks, but that seems like an aggressive timeline considering the procedure. Regardless, Moreland isn't on the fantasy radar and could miss the rest of the season in its entirety.
Mon, Dec 21, 2015 12:46:00 PM

Eric Moreland suffered a foot fracture to his fifth metarstal on his left foot and will be out indefinitely.

He doesn't play, but he would have been next man up if something happened to DeMarcus Cousins or Kosta Koufos. The Kings might be looking to sign someone.

George Karl referred to Eric Moreland as "a good insurance policy."

Citing the presence of DeMarcus Cousins, Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein, Karl noted how minutes would be difficult to come by. A training camp invite, it sure sounds like Moreland will make the team. In the event that scenario unfolds, Moreland will hold zero fantasy value.
