Coach Doc Rivers downplayed the notion that Milos Teodosic will be bought out before the end of this season.
Earlier this week, Teodosic admitted he was unhappy with his role in Los Angeles. "I think I definitely won’t stay here because… I came, I saw how it looks and somehow… I enjoy more and it’s nicer for me to play in Europe," said Teodosic. "So, I will return to Europe for sure, will it be during this season or at the end, we’ll see." However, Doc wants to keep Milos stateside. "We want Milos to be happy, too," Rivers said. "He's a great guy and he's great for this organization. Obviously, he hasn't played the minutes or the way he wants to, but we love him around here, so we'll figure that all out." Nov 24 - 12:38 PM

Milos Teodosic is not happy with his role in Los Angeles and hinted during a recent interview that he could wind up back in Europe this season.

"I think I definitely won’t stay here because… I came, I saw how it looks and somehow… I enjoy more and it’s nicer for me to play in Europe," said Teodosic. "So, I will return to Europe for sure, will it be during this season or at the end, we’ll see." Teodosic has essentially fallen out of the rotation this season, and if the 31-year-old wants to see quality minutes and a key role, that probably won't be happening in the NBA. It sounds like a buy-out could be coming.

Nov 22 - 11:38 AM

Milos Teodosic chipped in three points, three assists and one steal in 11 minutes on Sunday.

The veteran attempted only one shot, a made 3-pointer, and he's still far off the fantasy map. Doc Rivers has been going small with Luc Mbah a Moute (sore left knee) out of commission, and the Clippers have won two straight, so there's at least some daylight in very deep leagues.
Oct 29 - 12:10 AM

Milos Teodosic scored eight points with seven rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers in 17 minutes against the Rockets on Friday.

He was in there for the first half as coach Doc Rivers mixed it up. It was a surprise to see him in there as the Clippers went heavy with three-guard lineups. If Luc Mbah a Moute (knee) is out, maybe Milos will stay in the rotation, but this could've been about the matchup against the smaller Rockets lineups.
Oct 26 - 10:51 PM

Milos Teodosic (hamstring) made his preseason debut on Tuesday, finishing scoreless in 14 minutes with one assist and one turnover.

Teodosic is on the roster bubble in Los Angeles and probably isn't going to be in the rotation with coach Doc Rivers saying that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is guaranteed a rotation spot. Teodosic can be ignored pretty much everywhere.
Oct 10 - 12:59 AM

Milos Teodosic (hamstring) will make his preseason debut against the Nuggets on Tuesday.

"Have you seen him move, of course he's limited," Doc Rivers said about Teodosic's status. Milos is a guy to avoid.
Oct 9 - 9:12 PM

Milos Teodosic (hamstring) is out again on Saturday against the Lakers.

Additionally, the Clippers are expected to rest another veteran on top of Milos and Luc Mbah a Moute. Teodosic just can't stay on the court these days, so his exciting style of play is more than offset by these leg issues. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has looked phenomenal early and played next to Patrick Beverley a whole lot, so SGA is trending up and is worth drafting in most formats.
Oct 5 - 2:45 PM

Milos Teodosic (hamstring) will not suit up for Wednesday's preseason game against the Timberwolves.

Hamstring injuries can be tricky, so we'd expect the Clippers to be extremely cautious bringing the 31-year-old back, and it wouldn't be terribly surprising to see him miss most of the preseason. The Clippers are very deep at the point guard spot this season, so we're not expecting much from Teodosic.
Oct 2 - 2:39 PM

Milos Teodosic (hamstring) didn't play in Sunday's exhibition.

The veteran sat out a recent practice as a 'precaution' and the Clippers have little incentive to push him with so many guards at their disposal. It sounds like he's completely recovered from the plantar fasciitis that spoiled his 2017-18 season, but there's simply no daylight in the Clippers' backcourt.
Oct 1 - 12:29 AM

Milos Teodosic (hamstring) sat out of Friday's practice.

The good news is that his troublesome foot isn't the concern. The Clippers are calling this is a "precautionary move," but we'll keep an eye on his status over the next few days. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could have the edge over Teodosic for the backup role, so he's not a re-draft target.
Sep 28 - 7:26 PM

Milos Teodosic (foot) said he's 100 percent recovered from his plantar fascia injury.

A torn plantar fascia requires a ton of rest, so hopefully Milos got plenty of that this summer. His NBA rookie season was a major letdown due to health and his 0.896 points per possession left a lot to be desired, too. With the Clippers possibly looking at Shai Gilgeous-Alexander more, it'll be tough to target Milos.
Sep 24 - 4:06 PM

Milos Teodosic will not suit up for Team Serbia at the World Cup Qualifiers in September.

Teodosic is 31 years old and had a tough time staying healthy last season, so it wouldn't make much sense for him to risk a setback on the cusp of the regular season. The Clippers have a ton of depth at the point guard position this season, so it'll be tough for Teodosic to make much of an impact in fantasy hoops.

Milos Teodosic has not yet committed to suiting of for the Serbian National Team at the World Cup Qualifiers in September.

The timing of this year's qualifiers is awkward with it intersecting with training camp, so the Clippers' brass may be reluctant to clear the 31-year-old for international play. He'll fly to Los Angeles on Monday for a checkup with the medical staff, practice on Tuesday and then an official decision will be made.

Aug 26 - 3:21 PM

The Clippers will guarantee Milos Teodosic's contract for the 2018-19 season.

The Clippers "really like" Teodosic even though he had an injury-plagued rookie season, as he appeared in just 45 games with averages of 9.5 points, 4.6 assists, 0.5 steals and 2.0 triples. However, there's no guarantee that Teodosic will play a lot of minutes this season, as he'll be fighting for minutes in a backcourt that includes Patrick Beverley, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lou Williams, Avery Bradley and Jerome Robinson.
Jul 16 - 9:35 AM

Milos Teodosic will exercise his player option and remain with the Clippers for the 2018-19 season.

He'll earn $6.3 million for the upcoming season, though the Clippers do hold the right to cut him and pay him only $2.1 million. Regardless, this is a good move for Teodosic as he only played in 45 games last season due to injury. He logged 25 minutes a game when he was healthy and started 80 percent of the games he played in. If he can remain on the court, he could definitely log solid minutes for the Clips.
