Ricky Davis has been working out at the US Airways Center, but the Suns are not interested in signing him.

Davis was waived by the D-League's Maine Red Claws in January after averaging 8.5 points on 39 percent shooting. It's difficult to imagine he's gearing up for a return to the league as he'll be 33 next week.

Davis averaged 8.5 points on 39% shooting during his time with the Red Claws. If he couldn't make an impact on a D-League roster, it's a safe bet he won't be seen in the NBA again.

Ricky Davis has signed a contract to play in the NBDL.

Davis is hoping to earn a call up to the big show and resume his career at the NBA level. Needless to say, he's going to have to show quite a bit in order for that to happen.

Clippers waived Ricky Davis.

The newly acquired Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw (once he gets healthy) make Davis completely unnecessary. The Clippers also had to clear a roster spot, so Davis is the one that goes. He's still only 30 and will probably pop up somewhere as a gunner off the bench.

Ricky Davis scored 13 points on 5-of-9 (including a three) coming off the bench on Sunday, and also chipped in two rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes.

This is Davis' second-straight somewhat serviceable game with Eric Gordon (toe) out, and if that injury continues to linger, owners in very deep leagues should take a look. The Clippers play four games next week, as well, making the risk of using him a bit more palatable.

Ricky Davis scored nine points on 3-of-11 shooting in a spot start for injured Eric Gordon (toe) on Thursday, and added four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 30 minutes of action.

Davis got more run tonight than we would have expected, but his start and playing time should be viewed as nothing more than an aberration. Having no fantasy value this year, if he can keep it up during Sunday's game against the Wizards, then we'll ponder the idea that he's worth a look.

Ricky Davis hit 4-of-6 shots in 25 minutes for 10 points, a 3-pointer and steal in Monday's win.

He scored a total of 17 points in December, so this has to be considered a big line for Buckets. That said, it's hard to imagine him actually having value in most leagues.

Ricky Davis had 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block off the Clippers bench on Monday, logging 24 minutes in the lopsided loss.

Davis' 14 points tied him (with Chris Kaman and Rasual Butler) for the team-high, as the Clippers shot just 43.6% from the field and 29.4% from downtown. He had only appeared in two games prior to this, and should be treated with extreme skepticism in fantasy leagues. He got extra minutes with Eric Gordon sidelined with a groin injury.

Clippers' swingman Ricky Davis returned from a knee injury and scored 12 points in 26 minutes of Sunday's preseason loss.

We doubt he has fantasy value this season, but is at least worth keeping an eye on now that it looks like his career is not yet over.

Ricky Davis said his tendinitis is under control for the first time in years, and he hopes to contribute for the Clippers this season.

Davis underwent a "plasma therapy" to manipulate white blood cells, a procedure that Chris Kaman and Mardy Collins also used for foot problems.

Since the Clippers did not waive Ricky Davis they may actually give him a sizable role in the rotation next season.

Davis had a similar contract to recently-waived Mark Madsen, but he comes with a ton more baggage and Clippersblog.com reasons that the team wouldn't keep him if they didn't intend to play him. He is still capable of scoring in bunches off the bench, health permitting, but there's no reason to draft him in average fantasy leagues.

In exercising the option on his contract, Davis insures his own survival for another season. Knee tendinitis has limited what little value he had.

Ricky Davis (knee) is improving but sounds like he's not exactly close to a return.

"The MRI shows he has some major inflammation, a flared-up tendon," coach Mike Dunleavy said. "Until it calms down there's no reason to work it, otherwise the same thing will happen again." He hasn't been a consistent fantasy performer even when healthy.

Clippers swingman Ricky Davis is out indefinitely with a knee injury.

A recent MRI exam on his left knee revealed what coach Mike Dunleavy called "bad tendinitis," so look for guys like Mardy Collins and Fred Jones to get some extra minutes, possibly for the rest of the season.
