The Memphis Grizzlies waived big man Brian Skinner on Thursday.
By waiving Skinner, some are speculating that the Grizz are on the brink of re-signing Hamed Haddadi, who was the backup center for Memphis last season. Skinner will look to latch on with another team in need of a backup big man. Thu, Dec 29, 2011 05:24:00 PM

Brian Skinner played four minutes in his Grizzlies debut on Monday.

Skinner appeared in two games all of last season and has no real shot at fantasy value.

Bucks waived F/C Brian Skinner.

Skinner, 34, has appeared in just two games all season. This was the journeyman's third separate stint with the Bucks.

Veteran center Brian Skinner signed with the Bucks on Thursday.

To make room for Skinner, the team waived rookie forward Darington Hobson, who is out for the season with a groin injury. Skinner, who was with the Bucks in the preseason before eventually being released prior to the start of the regular season, was brought back in response to Andrew Bogut's struggles with back spasms. Bogut is questionable for the team's next game on Saturday, but even if he sits out, Skinner would hold just minimal value as a spot-start.

The Bucks waived big man Brian Skinner Monday.

That gets their roster down to 15. Skinner wasn't needed because the Bucks are very deep, albeit undersized, on the front line.

Brian Skinner saw 28 minutes in Saturday's game when the Bucks starting frontcourt of Drew Gooden and Ersan Ilyasova got into early foul trouble.

Skinner did okay, with eight rebounds and four blocks to go with two points, but he's clearly not a fantasy option buried at the end of the bench.

The Bucks have signed F/C Brian Skinner to a non-guaranteed contract.

He'll play a deep reserve role off the bench, and his signing means the Bucks are now out of the running for Erick Dampier. Skinner could get some run if Andrew Bogut misses time with his gimpy elbow.

Brian Skinner was not included as a part of the Antawn Jamison trade, as previously reported by league sources.

Whether he's in Washington or Los Angeles, he isn't going to have fantasy value any time soon.

The Clippers reportedly traded big man Brian Skinner to the Wizards on Wednesday.

We doubt he gets many minutes with his new team, so continue to ignore him unless he surprises us.

The Clippers re-signed big man Brian Skinner on Wednesday.

With centers Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman and DeAndre Jordan, and forwards Blake Griffin and Craig Smith around, Skinner isn't going to see many minutes. Then again given the potential injury woes of the Clippers, that outlook could easily change at some point.

Brian Skinner chose not to exercise his player option with the Clippers, meaning he's now an unrestricted free agent.

Skinner might have an agreement in place after a mediocre season in L.A. last year.

Brian Skinner scored a season-high 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds and three blocks in Friday's win over the Kings to break a six-game losing streak.

Despite the return of Marcus Camby and Chris Kaman, Skinner produced. He's playing very well right now and is a very sneaky fantasy play for the final couple games of the season.

Brian Skinner had 16 points, 14 boards and three blocks in Tuesday's loss.

DeAndre Jordan left with an Achilles' injury, Marcus Camby may not play again with a sprained ankle and Chris Kaman has missed two straight with the flu. Skinner could be a sneaky fantasy play if you need a center in a deep league.

Brian Skinner started at center in place of Chris Kaman (flu) and Marcus Camby (ankle), and scored seven points on 3-of-9 shooting with 13 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 26 minutes of action against the Lakers on Sunday.

As long as Chris Kaman (flu) and Marcus Camby (ankle) are out, Skinner could be worth a look in deeper leagues. Skinner got the start over DeAndre Jordan, who scored five points with eight rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench.

Brian Skinner returned to action on Friday from an Achilles' injury.

He didn't score in five minutes and no longer has fantasy value.
