Tyronn Lue will join Doc Rivers' coaching staff with the Clippers.
Lue has been on Rivers' staff in Boston since before the 2009 season and many around the league believe he'll be an eventual head coach candidate. The Raptors even asked for permission to interview Lue for a position on Dwane Casey's staff in mid-May, but it makes more sense for Lue to stay attached to Rivers for the time being. Rivers is expected to take most of his staff with him to L.A. Thu, Jun 27, 2013 11:17:00 AM

The Raptors have asked for permission to speak with Celtics assistant coach Tyronn Lue for a position on Dwane Casey's staff.

Lue joined Doc Rivers' staff in Boston prior to the 2009 season. While Casey and Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo appear likely to return for the 2013-14 season, Toronto management has yet to sign off on the option in Colangelo's contract. We imagine part of that is waiting to see whether Phil Jackson is willing to take over basketball operations, which could cause a major shakeup in the front office and the coaching staff.

Tyronn Lue will join the Celtics as an assistant coach.

Lue and Celtics coach Doc Rivers were together for a short time in Orlando. "There’s guys you coach all the time that you say, ‘He’ll be a coach.’ And Ty Lue was on the top of that list," Rivers said. Lue, 32, will help coach the Celtics' guards.

Veteran point guard Tyronn Lue has decided not to play in Greece this season after all, according to

It seems Lue wants to remain in the NBA, where he'll eventually be signed as a second- or third-string point guard.

The Greek team PAOK is on the verge of signing veteran guard Tyronn Lue.

Lue has 11 seasons of NBA experience but can likely find more money overseas. If he is signed by PAOK, the domestic market for career backup PGs will shrink by one.

Tyronn Lue debuted for the Magic on Sunday, playing just two minutes and scoring two points on free throws.

Lue should get into the mix at point guard, backing up Anthony Johnson. The Magic have a number of players they can also use there, like Courtney Lee and Hedo Turkoglu, but they would probably prefer to use Lue, who is a true point guard.

Tyronn Lue won't join the Magic until Saturday, meaning he won't play on Friday against the Pacers.

The Magic will start Anthony Johnson at the point with rookie Courtney Lee backing him up again tonight. Lue is expected to join the team for Sunday's shootaround and could play against the Nets. He shouldn't have any fantasy value unless Johnson goes down with an injury.

Tyronn Lue, who was recently traded to the Magic, will not likely be available for Friday's game against the Pacers.

That would mean more big minutes for Anthony Johnson, who scored 25 points on Wednesday. When Lue arrives, he is expected to be the backup, but he will be worth watching if Johnson struggles at all.

The Bucks have traded Tyronn Lue to the Magic in exchange for Keith Bogans and cash considerations.

With Jameer Nelson out, Lue should take over as the backup point guard to Anthony Johnson. We still see Johnson as the Orlando point guard to own, and Lue should probably only be a consideration in deeper leagues.

The Bucks are considering trading guard Tyronn Lue to the Lakers in exchange for center Chris Mihm, according to the Racine Journal-Times.

Now that Jordan Farmar (knee) is injured, the Lakers are concerned about their ability to defend other team's guards. Another rumor has Lue headed to Oklahoma City along with teammate Charlie Villanueva -- that would have a significant fantasy impact, depending who Milwaukee got back in the trade.

One game after scoring 13 points off the bench, Bucks guard Tyronn Lue was a DNP-CD in a blowout win over the Clippers.

Charlie Bell didn't fare much better -- he played 28 minutes and handed out six assists, but failed to score. Both guys should be avoided unless Luke Ridnour (Lue) or Michael Redd (Bell) get injured.

Tyronn Lue hit 6-of-7 shots and a three for 13 points on Friday.

Lue and Charlie Bell are both getting more minutes than Ramon Sessions right now, but Michael Redd and Luke Ridnour are the only Bucks guards worth owning.

Tyronn Lue's contract with Bucks is a one-year deal worth $2.5 million.

Lue had a $1.2 million offer from the Celtics, but he wanted $1.8 million to play in Boston. He wasn't willing to budge, which answers the age old question: it's worth a $700,000 pay cut to stay out of Milwaukee, but not a $1.3 million pay cut.

Point guard Tyronn Lue signed a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

No word on whether it was a one- or two-year deal. Lue will be a third-stringer in Milwaukee, and won't see many minutes behind Mo Williams and Ramon Sessions.

Tyronn Lue will reportedly sign a two-year, $3.9 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks according to his agent, Andy Miller. There is conflictin information, as the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is calling it a one-year deal.

This is a tough spot for Lue, who will be buried behind Mo Williams and Ramon Sessions on the depth chart. He could have possibly started for the Heat, but the money wasn't as good in Miami. The Suns were desperately trying to land a point guard in free agency this summer, but have missed out on most of the good prospects, including Lue.
