Sixers sign F/C Mikki Moore.

Moore is likely just in Philadelphia for training camp and is an insurance policy in case Andrew Bynum (knee) misses more time than expected.

Mikki Moore made his Warriors debut on Monday, scoring two points on 1-of-2 shooting with four rebounds and one assist in eight minutes.

Moore almost fouled out in his eight minutes, and has a long ways to go before we'll look at him in fantasy -- even with the Warriors about as thin as can be up front.

Warriors signed F/C Mikki Moore.

The Warriors are just looking for warm bodies up front at this point. Andrew Bogut (ankle) and David Lee (groin) are both done for the season. Andris Biedrins (concussion) could soon join them. Moore, a 12-year NBA veteran, will support the likes of Jeremy Tyler and Mickell Gladness.

Mikki Moore has signed a contract to play in the NBDL.

Another veteran looking for a comeback, Moore will head to the NBDL in order to do so. Willie Warren will also ink a deal, and Taylor Griffin is expected to follow suit later this week.

Free agent F/C Mikki Moore (heel) is about 10 days away from being able to play, according to his agent.

Moore is available, but hasn't garnered any interest from NBA teams. He'll have to prove he's healthy first as his game depends on his athleticism.

The Warriors have waived veteran C Mikki Moore, in order to clear a roster spot for rookie big man Chris Hunter.

The league had granted Golden State a special roster exemption because of all their injuries, but Hunter's contract would have been ineligible once it becomes guaranteed on Wednesday. Moore was already sidelined (until March or April) by an Achilles injury.

Mikki Moore will miss three months after having successful heel surgery on Friday.

That puts the rest of his season in jeopardy, which should be good news for the rest of the Warriors' centers, at least until they are traded away.

According to Warriors TV analyst Matt Steinmetz, Mikki Moore is expected to have surgery for bone spurs in his heel and is out indefinitely.

Moore's absence should be good news for Anthony Randolph's value in the short term, though the expected return of Andris Biedrins within the next week or two will cut into Randolph's minutes once again.

Mikki Moore had 16 points, seven boards and a block in Wednesday's win against his former team, the Nets.

Moore is starting for now, and might for a couple more weeks until Andris Biedrins returns, but Anthony Randolph should be a better option on most nights.

Mikki Moore started for the Warriors on Monday despite a lingering ankle injury, finishing with six points and zero rebounds in 21 minutes.

Moore has a bone spur aggravating his Achilles tendon, so it's no wonder he doesn't have any lift or explosion these days. Even as a starter, he's a non-entity in fantasy leagues.

Warriors big man Mikki Moore has a bone spur on his right heel that digs into his Achilles tendon, and he will soon have an MRI.

Moore said that "the initial thought is it requires surgery to fix the problem." He doesn't intend to have surgery ("I can't do my guys like that") but could change his mind if the Warriors ever get some healthy big men.

Mikki Moore started at center Friday but had just four rebounds, three turnovers and four fouls without scoring a point in 19 minutes of a loss to the Clippers.

Moore was terrible, as expected, yet this is the guy that Don Nelson would rather play than Anthony Randolph. Nope, we don't understand it either.
Sat, Nov 7, 2009 02:49:00 AM

Mikki Moore, not Anthony Randolph, is first in line to start against the Clippers on Friday if Ronny Turiaf (knee) and Andris Biedrins (back) are unable to play.

This report insinuates that Turiaf will be out without actually saying so, but the real story here is the fact that Randolph is good enough to be invited to a Team USA tryout, but not good enough to beat out Mikki Moore.
Fri, Nov 6, 2009 01:31:00 AM

Free agent big man Mikki Moore has agreed to a one-year contract with the Warriors.

Moore will make the veteran's minimum ($1.3 million) in Golden State, where he'll support the youthful frontcourt of Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright, Anthony Randolph and Ronny Turiaf. Barring a rash of injuries, Moore won't play enough minutes to be worth owning in fantasy leagues.
