Jason Terry has been diagnosed with a left calf strain.
Terry could spend upwards of two weeks on the sidelines with this injury, but the Bucks haven't yet offered an official timetable for his return. JET's minutes will likely be divvied up between Malcolm Brogdon and DeAndre Liggins. Dec 5 - 4:03 PM

Jason Terry said he is unsure about the extent of his calf injury and will have it examined on Tuesday.

Terry suffered a left calf strain on Monday vs. Boston in the fourth quarter and was unable to return to the game. Although Terry has seen an increase in playing time recently, he is still averaging just 1.5 points and 0.6 assists this season. He should be left on waivers in all formats.
Dec 5 - 9:19 AM

Jason Terry suffered a left calf strain on Monday vs. Boston in the fourth quarter and wasn't able to return.

Terry has been in the rotation lately with Matthew Dellavedova (knee) out, but he never popped up on the fantasy radar for a reason. He has a total of 15 points this season.
Dec 4 - 9:48 PM

Coach Jason Kidd said that he plans to play Jason Terry more frequently going forward.

Terry had only appeared in only six of the Bucks first 18 games, playing a total of just 36 minutes. However, he played 23 minutes on Tuesday and 18 minutes on Thursday. "I've always been a believer that you start to play your vets in December," said Kidd. "So, it's December for us, and he's going to start playing from here on out." Terry can be left on waivers as his fantasy impact is minimal, but he will start eating into the playing time of starter Tony Snell.
Dec 1 - 9:50 AM

Jason Terry has agreed to a one-year deal with the Bucks.

The Bucks surprisingly got 74 games out of Terry last season, averaging 4.1 points per game. Terry turned 40 years old today, so the Bucks are counting on him more for his veteran leadership than his play.
Sep 15 - 6:22 PM

The Bucks and Timberwolves are reportedly interested in signing unrestricted free agent Jason Terry.

The Bucks would like to bring back the 40-year-old veteran for another season, but they've received some competition from the Timberwolves. Terry is currently in Minnesota for a workout and meeting with Tom Thibodeau, but none of the reporting suggests a deal is imminent. Either way, JET is well past his days of being a relevant name in fantasy hoops.
Sep 11 - 5:11 PM

Bucks reporter Gery Woelfel expects the team to re-sign Jason Terry soon.

The Bucks have an open roster following the release of F/C Spencer Hawes. Terry will be 40 this month and is hopeful to play one more season, and the Bucks could use some depth behind Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova at the point. To be clear, there are no fantasy implications here as Terry averaged just 4.1 points, 1.3 assists and 1.0 3-pointers last season.
Sep 3 - 8:20 PM

Jason Terry "has drawn interest from some other teams" according to Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times.

It was widely assumed that Terry would be back with the Bucks for one more season, but it still hasn't happened because they are currently pursuing Derrick Rose. While the report doesn't name a specific team, Woelfel said one of them is Western Conference playoff-caliber team. Terry will be 40 in September, so he'll be looking at a minor role almost anywhere he lands.
Jul 17 - 9:16 AM

Jason Terry is hoping to play another year with the Bucks.

"Jason loves Milwaukee,’’ said Ryan Davis, Terry’s agent. "Hopefully, Milwaukee will bring him back.’’ Terry will be 40 in September, but the Bucks could bring him back on another minimum deal at $2.3 million. He averaged 4.1 points, 1.3 assists and 1.0 3-pointers last season, but he was a great locker room and has a good relationship with head coach Jason Kidd.
Jun 29 - 12:51 PM

Jason Terry scored eight points with four rebounds, one block, one steal and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

The JET almost saved the day with eight points in the final eight minutes of this game. He had some bright spots throughout the year and somewhat surprisingly logged 1,365 minutes during the regular season. Terry is going to turn 40 in September and there's a good chance his career is over. The 2009 Sixth Man of the Year had several years with strong fantasy value.
Apr 27 - 10:03 PM

Jason Terry got the nod as a starter after halftime vs. Denver on Wednesday, scoring three points with two rebounds in 22 minutes.

The veteran made 1-of-3 shots with his only make coming from downtown. Milwaukee simply needs to find more scoring with Michael Beasley (knee) out of commission, Khris Middleton still working his way back, and Jabari Parker (knee) done for the year. Terry isn't the answer and he's not worth owning outside of the very deepest leagues, even if he does get another start.
Mar 2 - 12:23 AM

Jason Terry said he is planning to play two more years.

"I’m going to play two more years, God willing," Terry said. "Actually, I am going to play two more years." Despite turning 40 later this year, the JET played 47 games this season with 17.1 minutes per outing. Although, the return of Khris Middleton should take minutes away from him. In fact, he's been a DNP-CD in two of the last last three games.
Feb 17 - 4:57 PM

Jason Terry scored nine points with two rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 26 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday.

He's been the trigger man for treys in some comeback attempts, but that position is about to be filled with Khris Middleton (hamstring) coming back. Owners in super deep leagues can put the JET back in the hanger. And by hanger we mean the waiver wire.
Feb 4 - 2:50 AM

Jason Terry played 28 minutes against the Knicks on Wednesday with eight points, three rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers.

The JET even played the entire fourth quarter and looked very good in that role as a shooting guard. He's almost never going to handle the ball, but he should get minutes while Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) is out. Terry can be ignored in almost all leagues unless you're streaming treys in a deep format.
Jan 4 - 11:08 PM

Jason Terry went scoreless in 24 minutes on Sunday, missing all six of his field goals, but he did contribute three rebounds and three assists.

Terry was a DNP-CD vs. the Kings on Saturday but that may have been a precaution in a back-to-back situation -- that game was also a blowout, so there was no need to deploy the 39-year-old combo guard. Random DNPs will be a staple of Terry's season, which is one more reason to avoid him.
