If Patrick Beverley (illness) doesn't play, Jason Terry would start against the Wolves.
Coach Kevin McHale would like to learn more about Pablo Prigioni, so Terry may see minutes in the 20s. Beverley is a game-time call for tonight and there still is not much incentive to start Terry in fantasy leagues. Feb 23 - 6:21 PM

Jason Terry will play on Thursday vs. OKC.

Terry was rested during the Rockets' last game as they are currently amidst a back-to-back set. However, with just one game of double-digit scoring in his past 10 outings, and minimal contributions to the other categories, he can’t be viewed as anything more than a 3-point specialist in very deep leagues.
Jan 15 - 6:37 PM

Jason Terry is likely to be rested against the Magic on Wednesday.

His minutes have been in the high teens lately and the Rockets will likely give a few more minutes to Patrick Beverley. Isaiah Canaan could also find himself in the rotation tonight.
Jan 14 - 6:58 PM

Jason Terry played 22 minutes in his return to the lineup on Saturday with 14 points, three rebounds, one steal and four 3-pointers.

He was with his wife for the birth of their child and he was a big part of the offense with 13 shots. Terry could be a sneaky source of treys in deeper leagues.

Jason Terry (personal) is back with the Houston Rockets after his wife had a baby, and is expected to be available for their game vs. the Hawks Saturday.

Patrick Beverley is healthy and is playing well, so Terry will return to his limited role off of the bench. Terry is not an option in standard leagues.

Jason Terry (personal) will not play against the Pelicans on Thursday.

He is still with his wife for the birth of their child. Terry is not going to be needed nearly as much with Patrick Beverley back to 100 percent. He can be cut just about everywhere.

Jason Terry will miss Wednesday's game in Denver to be with his wife who just gave birth to their baby.

He'll likely return to the lineup on Thursday for a home game vs. the Pelicans, and his absence will translate to more minutes for Isaiah Canaan. However, both Canaan and Terry's value is extremely limited with Patrick Beverley back in the starting lineup.
Tue, Dec 16, 2014 03:15:00 PM

Jason Terry played 28 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, but hit just 1-of-7 shots for two points and one assist.

With Patrick Beverley back in action, Terry's not going to need to carry nearly the load he was with Beverley out. He'll still get between 25-30 minutes a night most of the time, but is no longer a player you want in your lineup.
Thu, Dec 11, 2014 01:51:00 AM

Jason Terry played 39 minutes against the Suns on Saturday with 13 points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers.

The big minutes were a huge surprise, but the Rockets need bodies all over the place. Even with Patrick Beverley coming back, they are going to use James Harden at the three, which will open up some playing time. He might still have another week of value left in standard leagues. Although, the Suns do go small, so the Rockets got away with their small lineup.
Sun, Dec 7, 2014 12:23:00 AM

Jason Terry will remain in the starting lineup against the Suns on Saturday.

Beverley is expected to get some limited minutes, but Terry should see a major decrease in run tonight. He's probably going ti be someone fantasy owners will want to cut following tonight.
Sat, Dec 6, 2014 07:40:00 PM

Jason Terry played 43 minutes against the Wolves on Friday with 19 points, four rebounds, six assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.

It's hard to believe the JET saw this much playing time, but the Rockets are running out of bodies. They probably will take it easy on him on Saturday against the Suns, but he should still be worth starting in most leagues.
Sat, Dec 6, 2014 02:41:00 AM

Jason Terry played 31 minutes against the Grizzlies on Wednesday with 16 points, three rebounds, five assists, four steals and three 3-pointers.

This is another massive game following his 18-point outing on Saturday. Terry probably has another chance coming his way on Friday with Isaiah Canaan (ankle) up in the air. If you want to start him for another game or two, give him a look. Patrick Beverley (hamstring) should be back next week.
Thu, Dec 4, 2014 12:06:00 AM

Jason Terry exceeded all expectations against the Bucks on Saturday with 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

The minutes are probably the biggest surprise, but JET did throw down a dunk tonight. He looked great tonight and played well off the ball next to James Harden. Terry will likely stick in the starting lineup, but he's probably not going to be this good. Give him a look in deeper leagues, though.
Sun, Nov 30, 2014 01:00:00 AM

Jason Terry will start against the Bucks on Saturday.

He started the second half last night, but the Rockets are probably not going to give him more than 25 minutes or so tonight. Expect to see a group effort of Nick Johnson, Troy Daniels and Francisco Garcia as the team looks to recover from the loss of their top two point guards.
Sat, Nov 29, 2014 07:31:00 PM

Jason Terry started the second half of Friday's game against the Clippers with two points, two assists, two steals and one block in 22 minutes.

The Rockets are going to have to get creative at point guard because there's really no way they can give Terry major minutes. He's only an option in deep leagues while Troy Daniels or Nick Johnson could get more run on Saturday too.
