The NBA has suspended Joel Przybilla for one game after he threw a ball and hit a referee during Saturday's game.

Przybilla tossed the ball rather benignly, but the ref wasn't looking in his direction and there was likely some preexisting tension that led to a technical foul and ultimately this suspension. He's barely been playing this year, so his absence on Tuesday will have no impact in fantasy leagues.

The Vanilla Gorilla played 17 minutes in his fourth appearance of the season, and there's no way he'll be worth owning in fantasy leagues, even if he somehow continues to start ahead of Samuel Dalembert.

Joel Przybilla is willing to accept whatever role the Bucks give him next season, even if it means picking up DNP-CDs.

"If I don't play for three, four games ... whatever the coach asks of me I'm going to be ready," said Przybilla. The classy veteran knows his role -- to rebound, defend, and give the Bucks a big, physical presence off the bench. Between his limited role and the threat of DNPs, he's not a viable fantasy option.

Przybilla will earn $1.35 million on his one-year deal and serve as a backup behind Samuel Dalembert. The best case scenario for Przybilla, if he's able to stay healthy, is to play 10-15 minutes per game and serve as a defensive enforcer inside. He'll offer no fantasy value.

Joel Przybilla verbally agreed to sign a one-year, $1.35 million deal with the Bucks on Monday.

Przybilla chose the Bucks over the Mavs and Blazers, which is interesting because he accepted the veteran's minimum and Milwaukee isn't exactly brimming with optimism heading into next season. Regardless, if his knees are able to survive more than 15 mpg this season it should be considered a win.

A source close to the situation says unrestricted free agent center Joel Przybilla will likely decide which team to sign with by Friday evening.

The Bucks are out in front right now, with the Blazers and Mavericks also in the running for the free agent big man. Przybilla averaged just 2.0 ppg and 5.1 rpg last season in 27 games, so no matter where he lands, it will be in a backup role and with no fantasy value.

The veteran averaged just 2.0 points and 5.1 rebounds over 27 games, but the Bucks could certainly add a backup with size behind newly-acquired starting center Samuel Dalembert. The Mavericks and Blazers have also shown interest in Przybilla.

Przybilla has been drawing interest from the Bucks, Trail Blazers and Mavericks, and he's expected to choose one of those three teams for next season. For what it's worth, Przybilla's agent said that the meeting with the Bucks "went well," and the team had expressed interest in him last season prior to Przybilla signing with Portland.

The Bucks are the 'front-runners' to sign free agent Joel Przybilla, and he's expected to meet next week with GM John Hammond and coach Scott Skiles.

Milwaukee currently has Drew Gooden, Larry Sanders and Ekpe Udoh capable of backing up Samuel Dalembert, but wants to add another big, physical defensive presence. The Bulls and Mavericks are also pursuing Przybilla -- each team can offer him a backup center job, though Chicago's addition of Nazr Mohammed could take them out of the running.

Joel Przybilla is drawing the most interest from the Trail Blazers, Mavericks and Bucks, according to his agent.

Przybilla and his family are comfortable in Portland, but he'd probably have a bigger role if he signed with Milwaukee or Dallas. He's a rock-bottom blocks specialist, no matter where he lands.

The Bucks and Joel Przybilla have "mutual interest" in each other, according to beat writer Gery Woelfel.

Przybilla and the Bucks did this same dance before the big man decided to come out of retirement and play for the Blazers during the 2011-12 season, so this isn't a surprise. If Milwaukee does sign Przybilla, he'll be an insurance policy and not much more than that, which says all that it needs to about his chance at fantasy relevance.

The Mavericks are reportedly interested in free agent centers Joel Przybilla and Hasheem Thabeet.

The Mavs would happily amnesty Brendan Haywood to clear cap space for Deron Williams, but either way they'll need another center on the roster. Przybilla has stated his willingness to return with the Blazers, but so far they haven't contacted him.
