Joe Johnson finished Tuesday's win vs. the Nuggets with a game-high 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting, four 3-pointers, two rebounds, three assists and one steal.
Trade rumors have been swirling around the Nets, involving D-Will, Johnson and Brook Lopez, but beat writer Stefan Bondy reports that D-Will is the most likely of the three to be dealt. Johnson had a bigger offensive burden with Williams (calf) out again on Tuesday, and he's now scored double-digit points in eight straight games. Dec 23 - 11:19 PM

Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson was poked in the eye during Sunday's game, but he returned to finish with 16 points (5-of-9 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), two 3-pointers, three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block.

He also turned the ball over five times in 37 minutes as he took on a bigger offensive role in the absence of Deron Williams (calf). Johnson appears fine and we're leaving him off the injury report, but it can't hurt to double-check his status prior to Tuesday's game vs. Denver.

Joe Johnson (eye) left Sunday's game against the Pistons, but has since returned and is available to play.

He was poked in his left eye by Josh Smith in the third quarter of Sunday's game, and briefly headed back to the locker room with a trainer. However, he is back on the bench and he looks like he is just fine. We will let you know how he fares after the game.

Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson posted a huge line in Friday's loss to the Cavs, scoring 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting (including four threes) with four rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block.

Johnson is rolling at a top 60-70 level and it's not a bad time to see what you can get back in a trade. The Nets don't have a lot to play for and theoretically he could get moved, though it's hard to see anybody biting on the $48 million he's earning this year and next.

Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson led the Nets to an easy win over the Hornets on Saturday, scoring 22 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

He had his way all game long and made Gerald Henderson look completely useless on the defensive end. Johnson had a slow game on Friday against the 76ers but it appears he is back on track after this performance. Despite all the trade rumors in Brooklyn, owners should continue to deploy Johnson as usual considering he is still putting up mid-round value.
Dec 13 - 10:12 PM
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson was quiet in his return to the lineup on Friday with 12 points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

He turned the ball over five times for a season high. Johnson is holding mid-round value on the season, but his field goal percentage is starting to take a hit. He should still be worth starting in standard leagues.

Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson said that he'll "definitely" play Friday vs. the 76ers.

"I’m definitely going to play," Johnson said. "I got here a little early, so I can try and get a little workout in… I felt pretty good. Still a little low on energy, but for the most part, I’ll be all right." Johnson's return to the lineup will likely send Alan Anderson back to the bench, and will hurt the value of Jarrett Jack. Go ahead and get Johnson active for what will be a very favorable matchup vs. the Tankers.

Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson (flu) said he will be available for Friday's game against the 76ers after spending several days being unable to get out of bed.

While we'll await official word, it's sounding like the injury-riddled Nets will have Johnson available for Friday. His return will squash the limited fantasy value that Jarrett Jack, Alan Anderson, and Bojan Bogdanovic provided while he was out, and Johnson's owners can feel free to plug him back in their lineups.
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson (illness) is expected to return to Nets' practice on Thursday.

Johnson hasn't played or practiced since last Friday, so a return to practice would be good news in advance of Friday's game against the 76ers. We'll update Johnson's status as more information becomes available, but his return will push Jarrett Jack, Alan Anderson, and Bojan Bogdanovic back to fantasy irrelevancy.
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson (flu), Brook Lopez (back), and Andrei Kirilenko (personal) are listed as out for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls.

Johnson will miss his second straight game, but should be recovered in time for the Nets next outing on Friday. The Nets will use a committee approach to offset the loss of Johnson, meaning Jarrett Jack, Alan Anderson, and Bojan Bogdanovic will all see big minutes on the wings for the Nets.
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson (illness) will not play against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Johnson's flu-like symptoms will keep him out for the second straight game on Wednesday, while Jarrett Jack, Alan Anderson, and Bojan Bogdanovic will get extra run in his absence.
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson (illness) will not play on Monday against the Cavs.

He missed Sunday's practice with his illness and should be considered questionable for the next game on Wednesday against the Bulls. With Johnson out, Jarrett Jack, Alan Anderson and Bojan Bogdanovic figure to get a little extra opportunity. The Nets do have a total of four games, so Johnson is still an option in weekly leagues.
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson missed Sunday's practice with flu-like symptoms, and should be considered questionable to play on Monday vs. the Cavaliers.

This does not look good for the Nets, and we will be sure to follow this story closely. We'd bet that Johnson plays in such a critical game, but if he misses then we would expect to see a lot of Bojan Bogdanovic and Alan Anderson. Stay tuned. Brook Lopes also missed practice with a back injury, so he should also be considered questionable for Monday's outing.
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson's all-around game helped Brooklyn earn a 98-93 win vs. the Knicks on Tuesday, as he notched 22 points with eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block.

He made 7-of-14 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs with one 3-pointer and only two turnovers in 37 minutes of action. He's settled into mid-round value and isn't likely to approach the early rounds unless injuries hand him a bigger role offensively.
Dec 2 - 10:39 PM
Joe Johnson - G/F - Nets

Joe Johnson fell victim to Chicago's suffocating defense on Sunday, hitting just 1-of-7 shots for three points, while adding four rebounds, three turnovers, one assists, and one steal over 28 minutes of action.

This will probably be Johnson's worst game of the season, and he'll look to bounce-back on Tuesday in a favorable matchup vs. the Knicks. He's averaging 16.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.6 three-pointers per game this year, good enough for mid-round value.
