Zach Randolph had 18 points, 18 rebounds and two steals on 7-of-18 shooting Wednesday.
The short-handed Grizzlies were beaten by the Raptors tonight, but Z-Bo did his part. With several team members missing due to a flu bug it wasn't that hard to see this game coming from Randolph. He's averaging a double-double on the season and the 18 boards weren't even a season high for him (22). Nov 20 - 2:15 AM

Zach Randolph grabbed 13 offensive rebounds against the Pistons on Saturday, adding 17 points, nine defensive boards, four assists and one turnover on 7-of-22 from the field.

It's no small feat to grab over 20 rebounds against the Pistons and the Grizzlies grabbed 18 O-boards as a team. Randolph has played well in his last three halves and is a double-double threat every night.
Nov 16 - 12:57 AM

Zach Randolph finished strong against the Kings on Thursday with a total of 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists and no turnovers in 34 minutes.

He didn't have a single board, point, assist or any stat outside of a foul in the first half. Randolph has been better in the second halves most of this season, so tonight's game will solidify that. He'll be a so-so option in standard leagues due to a lack of defense and not lighting it up in efficiency.
Nov 13 - 11:36 PM

Zach Randolph was quiet during Tuesday's win vs. the Lakers, scoring 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting with 10 rebounds and zero assists, steals or blocks.

To his credit, Z-Bo came up huge when it mattered, scoring after an offensive rebound to give Memphis an insurmountable five-point lead toward the end of regulation. He simply had an off night in a matchup that looked very favorable on paper, and should be back to his usual scoring output vs. the Kings on Thursday.
Nov 11 - 11:01 PM

Zach Randolph made his only attempt from beyond the arc all season in a loss to the Bucks on Saturday, scoring a total of 22 points with 14 boards and one assist in 36 minutes.

He was a beast on the offensive glass with six boards on that end. Randolph is shooting the ball very well this season and is on pace for his most efficient season since 2002-03. Yes, it's early.
Nov 9 - 1:11 AM

Zach Randolph double-doubled against the Hornets on Saturday with 12 points and 12 boards in 29 minutes.

The only other stat he registered was a turnover and he didn't even get to the line while shooting 6-of-12 from the field. Randolph will compete for the league lead in double-doubles and is batting 1.000 so far. Keep him active, obviously.
Nov 1 - 10:42 PM

Zach Randolph put up his second double-double in as many games with 22 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, three steals and one turnover in 33 minutes on Friday.

He looks terrific so far and has 15.0 shot attempts per game to go with his 25-13 line. Randolph is going to get his points and boards, but he won't do much else. Plan accordingly.
Oct 31 - 10:16 PM

Zach Randolph torched the Wolves for 25 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block on 12-of-16 shooting on Wednesday.

This was a vintage Z-Bo line and it's possible he's going to flirt with another 20-10 season.
Oct 30 - 1:15 AM

Zach Randolph had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block on 4-of-12 shooting Wednesday.

Z-Bo is averaging just 7.8 points and 5.2 rebounds over his last five games, but you have to think he's holding back until the games start counting. He's no longer an automatic 20-10 guy, but he should still be an effective power forward that you can get in the middle of your draft.
Oct 22 - 11:04 PM

Zach Randolph hit just 5-of-15 shots on Saturday, but finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in a win over the Hawks.

Z-Bo isn't going to block many shots, and probably isn't the 20-10 player he once was, but he looks like a real value pick given that he's not being taken until the middle rounds of fantasy drafts. The guy can still play and has a big role with Memphis.
Oct 11 - 11:04 PM

Zach Randolph officially signed a two-year contract extension with Memphis on Monday worth $20 million.

He also decided to opt in to his $16.5 million player option for the 2014-15 season, so he'll be with the Grizzlies for another three years. "Zach has become a cornerstone of our franchise, and his contributions have been immense not just on the court but in the Memphis community," said Grizzlies Interim General Manager Chris Wallace. "Through that process, he’s become one of the most popular Grizzlies in the history of the organization."
Jul 7 - 7:03 PM

Zach Randolph has agreed to a two-year, $20 million extension with the Grizzlies.

He will also opt in to his $16.5 million player option for this year, which means he'll be with the Grizzlies for the next three seasons. While there was talk of a stalemate between Z-Bo and the Grizzlies, there was never really much of a doubt and it's nice to see a deal get done before free agency begins. He'll be his usual nightly double-double threat at the power forward spot, but doesn't do much for fantasy teams outside of that. We're not planning on targeting the 32-year-old forward in our upcoming draft guide.
Jun 27 - 12:06 PM

Zach Randolph's contract extension talks with the Grizzlies have stalled and he may opt to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Memphis is reportedly unwilling to give their 32-year-old forward more than a three-year deal, and Randolph seems ready to decline his $16.5 million player option to lock up a longer and more lucrative contract. Z-Bo has been clear about his desire to return with the Grizzlies, but this significant financial impasse may be enough to send him elsewhere for the 2014-15 season.
Jun 25 - 10:54 AM

If Zach Randolph decides to opt out of his current contract, Memphis is hopeful they will be able to sign him to a long-term deal.

"It’s going forward," GM Chris Wallace said. "We’re very excited about what Zach’s done in the past and hope to have him here in the future. This has really been a terrific boon for both sides. He’s obviously meant a great deal to us on and off the court. And Memphis has worked for him. This has been, by far, the best stop for him since he’s been in the NBA. So we’re working towards that goal." Randolph has stated on multiple occasions that he hopes to retire wearing a Grizzlies uniform, so the feeling is mutual.
Jun 20 - 5:35 PM

Despite the recent turmoil within the Grizzlies front office, Zach Randolph wishes to remain with the franchise.

Randolph has reportedly already begun preliminary discussions on a long-term extension, and he has expressed a strong desire to finish his career in Memphis. Randolph talked directly with Pera in the past week, and both him and his agent sensed a serious commitment from Pera to keep Randolph with the franchise with a new deal. Randolph has until June 30 to decide whether he will pick up his $16.5 million player option for the 2014-15 season.
