Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with a 20 & 13 double-double on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to earn a road win in San Antonio.
Memphis has dropped three straight games and they're just 11-10 since the All-Star break, a record that doesn't bode well with the postseason just a few weeks away. Z-Bo's team-high scoring came on 9-of-16 shooting, a solid performance that helps compensate for his utter lack of assists, steals or blocks. Mar 29 - 9:31 PM

Date:

Zach Randolph hit just 2-of-8 shots for five points and three rebounds in 20 minutes in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Cavaliers.

The good news is there are no reports of injury. The 111-89 loss was the worst home defeat for the Grizzlies this season, and they're now just 1.5 games ahead of the third-place Rockets in the West. Z-Bo never got it going and didn't play much after the Cavs opened up a 29-point lead in the third quarter. Look for the Grizzlies to bounce back in the next one.
Mar 26 - 1:14 AM

Zach Randolph scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting (5-of-6 FTs) with seven rebounds and five assists in Monday's win over the Knicks.

Randolph has been a solid mid-round value this season and as long as the Grizzlies don't run away with the No. 2 seed the vets should see action down the stretch. It doesn't hurt that Mike Conley is the first guy up for some rest, either. Marc Gasol added 21 and eight with three assists in the win.
Mar 23 - 11:04 PM

Zach Randolph posted 13 points, five rebounds and four assists against the short-handed Pistons during Tuesday's disappointing road loss.

Greg Monroe was out for Detroit, leaving Z-Bo with a delectable offensive matchup vs. Anthony Tolliver, but he managed to score only three points after halftime. He also stole the ball twice, giving him three straight games with multiple steals. It's an unexpected bonus for owners who rely on him for his season-average 16.4 points and 11.3 rebounds, the latter of which ranks sixth in the NBA.
Mar 17 - 10:13 PM

Zach Randolph scored 21 points on 9-of-20 shooting with 16 rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Grizzlies' 92-81 win over the Nuggets on Monday.

The Grizzlies could really use some wins to get some separation as the No. 2 seed in the West -- and therefore some chance to rest -- but for now they're locked in a tight race with the Blazers and Rockets for the No. 2-4 slots. Marc Gasol scored 14 points on 4-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks in the win.
Mar 16 - 11:34 PM

Zach Randolph returned to action on Saturday against the Bucks, scoring 15 points with six rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and five turnovers.

He played 34 minutes and was right back to his usual role. Randolph and the Grizzlies are just 1.5 games ahead of the Blazers for the two seed, so Z-Bo owners should be rooting for the Blazers to stay on their heels or even pass them. There's still a good chance he rests at least one more game.
Mar 15 - 12:25 AM

Zach Randolph will be rested for Thursday's game vs. the Wizards.

Marc Gasol (rest), Tony Allen (rest), and Mike Conley (ankle) will join Randolph on the sidelines, meaning Memphis' reserves will need to step up in a big way tonight. Jon Leuer will likely slide into the starting lineup tonight with Randolph out, while Jeff Green will have plenty of opportunities as Memphis' primary option on offense.
Mar 12 - 1:02 PM

Zach Randolph was held in check against the Pelicans on Saturday with seven points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals in 29 minutes.

Anthony Davis had one of his best games as a rim protector tonight and Z-Bo was also kept off the offensive glass with no O-boards. Randolph beat up on the Lakers on Friday, but he's been quiet in most of his games recently. He's more of a mid-round fantasy guy the rest of the way.
Mar 7 - 9:27 PM

Zach Randolph scored 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting with 13 rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Grizzlies' 97-90 win over the Lakers on Friday.

Randolph certainly has a slot on the old guy All Stars this season, returning top 55-65 value a season after he struggled with just late-round stats.
Mar 7 - 1:42 AM

Zach Randolph retuned from an illness during a win over the Rockets on Wednesday with 15 points, eight rebounds, six assists, three steals, one block and one turnover in 33 minutes.

He matched his season high for assists and steals in this one. Excluding steals and free throw percentage, Randolph saw all of his averages fall in February following a massive January. He should be somewhere in the middle with scoring in the high teens and double-digit boards.
Mar 4 - 11:25 PM

Zach Randolph (illness) will play against the Rockets on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies missed him badly on Tuesday and lost to the Jazz. Randolph has really started slow in the second half, averaging 13.8 points, 9.0 boards and 1.6 assists in his last five. He can be started in all leagues tonight.
Mar 4 - 6:42 PM

Zach Randolph (illness) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets.

He was held out of Tuesday's game vs. the Jazz and his presence was clearly missed, as Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors destroyed the Grizzlies in the paint. If Z-Bo is cleared to play tonight he will be a must-start option in all leagues even if he isn't quite 100 percent. Kosta Koufos will shift to the bench and can be dropped in most leagues if Z-Bo is given the green light.
Mar 4 - 1:59 PM

Zach Randolph (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets.

Z-Bo wasn't able to play on Tuesday vs. the Jazz, so his owners should have a backup plan ready. Check back for an update prior to tip-off before making any roster decisions, and expect Kosta Koufos to draw another start if Z-Bo is unable to play. To be clear, Koufos is only worth a look in deeper leagues.
Mar 4 - 12:09 PM

Updating a previous report, Zach Randolph (illness) and Beno Udrih (illness) have been ruled out for Tuesday's game vs. the Jazz.

Mike Conley and Marc Gasol will be tasked with more responsibilities on offense with Randolph unavailable, and they're worth a look as a plug-and-play option in daily leagues. It's unclear at this point who will replace Randolph in the starting lineup, but in the past it has been Jon Leuer or Kosta Koufos, although neither of those guys have been able to capitalize on the starting gig in the past.

Zach Randolph (illness) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Utah.

If Randolph is unable to go tonight Jon Leuer or Kosta Koufos will have the opportunity to step into the starting lineup. However, they haven't done much in the past while starting, so the primary beneficiaries from a fantasy perspective would be Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. Stay tuned.
