Zach Randolph led the Kings again on Sunday with 19 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer, but it wasn't enough to beat the visiting Raptors.
Z-Bo went 9-of-11 from the field and he's loving life as an unquestioned go-to scorer. Willie Cauley-Stein has missed three straight games with a strained lower back and we've yet to hear about him ramping up his activity, but even before his exit Z-Bo was on fire. Expect him to light up the Suns on Tuesday. Dec 10 - 6:58 PM

Zach Randolph made a career-high five 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 35 points during a 116-109 overtime win in New Orleans on Friday, adding 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three turnovers.

His nine attempts from deep were also a career high, and he seems to be enjoying his time and role with his new team. "What they call me? The Handyman," Randolph said. "I’ll do whatever they want me to do. I’m a team guy, I’ll come off the bench, it don’t matter. It’s about the team." The quotes kept coming from Z-Bo as he was asked about a brief confrontation with DeMarcus Cousins. "In my hood, bullies get bullied," Z-Bo said. Say what you want about the Kings and overpaying Randolph, but he's making a nice impression on the young guys. He's also been second-round player in fantasy over his last seven.
Dec 9 - 2:54 AM

Zach Randolph started vs. Cleveland on Wednesday and piled up 18 points, 10 boards, six assists, three steals and two 3-pointers, with zero turnovers in 32 minutes.

Z-Bo feasted on the Cavs' defense tonight, hence the big line. He leads the Kings in scoring but that's not saying too much, as he came in at 13.9 points per game. He's adding 6.3 boards and 0.6 threes with his customary lack of supporting stats -- 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.2 blocks. He's a decent low-end option until his minutes start trending down.
Dec 6 - 9:54 PM

Zach Randolph will start against the Cavs on Wednesday.

We're still waiting on the starting lineup, but coach Dave Joerger said that his team will go small. Randolph should be getting some decent run with Kosta Koufos and Georgios Papagiannis behind him. Kevin Love may be licking his chops in this matchup, though. Keep an eye on JaKarr Sampson as a possible starter and DFS punt.
Dec 6 - 5:53 PM

Zach Randolph came up big off the bench Saturday at Milwaukee, posting 22 points with seven rebounds.

Randolph hit 10-of-15 field-goal attempts while chipping in with two assists across 34 minutes. He answered the bell once Willie Cauley-Stein (back) checked out in the first half due to a strained lower back. It's uncertain if Cauley-Stein will need to miss any game time, but if so Randolph should be back in the starting five.
Dec 2 - 11:29 PM

Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein started over Skal Labissiere and Zach Randolph on Saturday.

Yep, it's a back-to-back set and there's a good chance Z-Bo gets the night off. This Kings rotation is a nightmare sometimes.
Dec 2 - 8:45 PM

Zach Randolph had his best game of the season during a 107-106 win in Chicago on Friday, posting season-highs 25 points and 13 boards with three assists and one block in 32 minutes.

He's on fire with blocks in back-to-back games -- Lauri Markkanen and John Henson were the victims. He scored 17 points at half and finished with a 12-of-19 line from the field. The Kings are on a back-to-back set on Saturday, so his owners will have to look for a possible rest day in Milwaukee. For what it's worth, he did mention the upcoming matchup against Jason Kidd in his post-game interview.
Dec 2 - 12:37 AM

Zach Randolph scored 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting Saturday, to go with seven rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer and one steal in 31 minutes.

Randolph has been on a roll over the past four game, flirting with top-30 value in 9-cat leagues behind averages of 17.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 3-pointer per game on 54.7 percent shooting while earning 27.1 minutes a night. However, it's tough to see the 36-year-old earning meaningful minutes in Sacramento towards the second half of the season, and most those numbers aren't sustainable, so now would be an ideal time to try and sell-high on Z-Bo.
Nov 26 - 1:23 AM

Zach Randolph scored a season-high 22 points vs. the Lakers on Wednesday, making 10-of-16 shots with seven rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two 3-pointers.

The Kings went on a 16-2 run in the first quarter tonight, powered by Z-Bo's 11 points in the frame -- he even beat L.A.'s defense down the court at one point. The veteran tied his season-high with 30 minutes and aside from a few duds he's been good in November, but we still don't trust him in 12-team leagues.
Nov 23 - 1:20 AM

Zach Randolph did not score in 14 minutes with four rebounds and one assist against the Blazers on Friday.

The Kings may actually start to play their young guys and they even won this game. It is only a matter of time before Randolph starts to fade, and it may be sooner rather than later. It'll be interesting to see if he rests on Saturday.
Nov 18 - 12:52 AM

Zach Randolph led the Kings on Wednesday with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting, adding four rebounds and two assists in an ugly road loss.

Z-Bo played 25 minutes, and Sacramento's veterans were the only thing they had going tonight -- George Hill added 12 points and three steals, while Kosta Koufos had seven points on 3-of-3 shooting off the bench. None of those three guys has returned 14-team value to date.
Nov 15 - 10:27 PM

Zach Randolph hit 8-of-15 shots for 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals, along with six turnovers in Tuesday's unlikely 94-86 win over the Thunder.

The Thunder really didn't do much to contain Randolph in the second half and he had another nice game. Z-Bo has quietly scored in double digits in five straight games and has been rolling over his last three, averaging 17.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting over his last three. He's a cheap and attractive DFS option right now and he's even worth grabbing in standard leagues if you need help.
Nov 8 - 1:09 AM

Zach Randolph scored 19 points with four rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday.

It looks like coach Dave Joerger wants to play his old buddy from Memphis quite a bit. Randolph is getting minutes at center, which is part of the reason Willie Cauley-Stein has cooled off so much. Randolph should have some value until the Kings are totally out of it, but they're just 1-8.
Nov 4 - 9:55 PM

Zach Randolph (sore left foot) scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting during a blowout loss vs. the Pacers on Tuesday, adding five rebounds and three turnovers in 23 minutes.

Z-Bo's absence on Sunday was reportedly just to get some rest, but it may have been related to the foot injury. His fantasy value is trending down year after year, and at age 36 it seems inevitable that Skal Labissiere will soon eclipse him. There's really no incentive to own Randolph outside of deep leagues.
Oct 31 - 9:31 PM

Zach Randolph (foot) will return to the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. the Pacers, with Skal Labissiere heading back to the bench.

Z-Bo sat out Sunday's loss to the Wizards. He was listed as out due to rest, but it turns out he is also dealing with a sore left foot. Labissiere started on Saturday, scoring 10 points and grabbing four rebounds in 22 minutes. Both players will split minutes fairly evenly at PF while they are healthy, limiting the fantasy appeal of both Zach and Skal.
