Zach Randolph was held to 5-of-10 shooting in Monday's Game 4 loss to the Warriors, finishing with 12 points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes.
Randolph did well with the looks that he got but he has been their best offensive player this series and Warriors were able to neutralize him with their adjustments. The Grizzlies may want to look at going small in general and they may want to use Randolph as their center with the second unit, because the Warriors haven't had any answer for him with Festus Ezeli and they got whomped in tonight's setup. Date:

Zach Randolph scored 22 points with eight boards, three assists and one steal as the Grizzlies took a 2-1 series lead over the Warriors on Saturday.

He shot 9-of-15 from the field in a very efficient 37 minutes of action tonight. Randolph has now scored 20 or more points in every game of this series, and he is really going to be able to have his way in the paint if the Warriors continue to play small ball down the stretch. Expect Randolph to continue his stellar play as the Grizzlies seek to clinch a 3-1 series lead in Game 4 in Memphis on Monday.
May 9 - 11:06 PM

Zach Randolph posted 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting in Sunday's loss in Oracle Arena, adding nine rebounds, five assists and one turnover in 36 minutes.

Z-Bo and Marc Gasol (21 points, nine rebounds) will need to have a huge series for the Grizzlies to hang with the Warriors, especially if Mike Conley (facial surgery) misses more games. Randolph has a size and strength advantage in the post vs. Draymond Green and the Warriors' small lineups, but his difficulty defending the perimeter will be a key to the series -- Green shot 4-of-8 beyond the arc on Sunday.
May 3 - 7:27 PM

Zach Randolph scored 18 points against the Pacers on Wednesday with nine boards and three turnovers in 35 minutes.

He did have a minor ankle tweak tonight, but Randolph was able to play through it. He's also shown up on the injury report for elbow and back issues in the past few weeks, so he's probably not going to be 100 percent. Still, expect Z-Bo to be a primary option against the Blazers in the first round.
Apr 16 - 1:07 AM

Zach Randolph scored 21 points with 13 rebounds, five assists and three steals in 39 minutes during a 94-86 loss to the Clippers.

He's going to be the focal point of the offense until the Grizzlies can get the cavalry ready to go. Unless the Warriors rest players, Z-Bo is headed towards a bad matchup on Monday. However, the high usage rate, assist percentage and rebound rate all give him a massive upside.
Apr 12 - 1:03 AM

Zach Randolph put up a double-double against the Pelicans during a 110-74 win on Wednesday, scoring 15 points with 13 boards, six assists and two steals in 30 minutes.

It was too easy for the Grizzlies tonight and this game was basically over in the third quarter. Randolph has been on the injury report due to back and elbow problems, but he hasn't missed a game since Mar. 3. The Grizzlies absolutely do not want to play the Spurs in the first round, so expect them to try and lock up the No. 2 seed.
Apr 8 - 10:46 PM

Zach Randolph and Jeff Green are listed as the starters on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies have been listing Z-Bo has questionable, but they don't update his status when he's active. In other words, no news is good news on Randolph going forward.
Apr 8 - 8:05 PM

Zach Randolph (back) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

He was questionable to play on Saturday with the same back injury, but did play. The Grizzlies won't want Z-Bo at less than 100 percent in the postseason, so they might rest him. Although, having four days off may be enough for him. If he's out, Kosta Koufos, Jarnell Stokes and Jon Leuer would benefit.
Apr 6 - 6:45 PM

Zach Randolph played through some lower back tightness on Saturday during a 92-83 loss to the Wizards, scoring six points with 10 boards, one assist and three turnovers.

The Wizards have been able to shut down a number of power forwards, so this sub-par line may have nothing to do with Randolph's health. Sadly, it was Z-Bowtie night tonight, too. He'll be better his next time out, which isn't until Wednesday to start his three-game week.
Apr 5 - 1:25 AM

Zach Randolph (back) will try to play against the Wizards on Saturday night.

The Grizzlies could really use a win tonight and they'll see what they can get out of Z-Bo. The Wizards are one of the better interior defenses in the NBA, so Randolph isn't a great option in DFS. His owners in season-long leagues can fire him up.
Apr 4 - 6:31 PM

Zach Randolph (lower back tightness) is questionable to play against the Wizards on Saturday.

This injury is different from his elbow injury, which occurred on Wednesday and put him on the injury report for Friday. The Grizzlies are tied with the Rockets for the two seed and nobody is going to want to play the Spurs in the first round, so they might keep Z-Bo in the lineup tonight. If he's out, Kosta Koufos is likely the next best option. Jarnell Stokes and Jon Leuer could get in the rotation as well. Stay tuned.
Apr 4 - 5:39 PM

Zach Randolph (elbow) played on Friday against the Thunder, scoring 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 30 minutes.

Randolph is banged up like his teammates but until seeding is settled and the Grizzlies have worked out some of their kinks look for him to try and stay on the court.
Apr 4 - 1:37 AM

Zach Randolph (elbow) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Friday.

To be clear, this isn't a downgrade from earlier and is more of a technicality. He said earlier today that he would play and we're still expecting him to give it a go. Randolph is likely going to be a game-time decision for the 8:00 EDT start. OKC head coach Scott Brooks said that he'll initially matchup Steven Adams on Randolph, which isn't as ideal as him going toe-to-toe with Enes Kanter, but that will translate to Marc Gasol getting whatever he wants. Hopefully, DFS owners can get an official word before 7:00.
Apr 3 - 3:55 PM

Zach Randolph (elbow) was a full participant during shootaround, and he said he will play Friday vs. OKC.

The injury is to Randolph's non-shooting (right) elbow, and he said he would play on Thursday as well, so it's looking safe to get him active in all lineups.
Apr 3 - 1:29 PM

Zach Randolph (elbow, knee) will try to practice on Thursday in the hopes of being able to play against the Thunder on Friday.

Randolph will likely be limited during Thursday's practice, but he said he'll play against the Thunder on Friday. We'll update Randolph's status after Friday's shootaround, but for now, it looks like Jon Leuer won't get a spot-start on Friday.
