Zach Randolph's future with the Grizzlies is "another question mark," according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Randolph's got more than $34 million owed to him over the next two seasons, and it's possible the Grizzlies look to see what he might bring back on the trade market. There was some chatter regarding Randolph on the trade block around the deadline, but it was mostly unsubstantiated speculation. It's entirely possible Memphis will put him on the block, but that's not a decision that will be made imminently. May 28 - 8:36 AM

Zach Randolph had 15 points, 18 rebounds, a steal and two blocks on 6-of-18 shooting in Tuesday's Game 2 OT 93-89 loss to the Spurs.

The Grizz now trail 2-0 in the series, which will be a tough hole to climb out of. Tony Allen's flop in crunch time drew a flagrant foul call that resulted in a four-point comeback that sent the game to OT. Allen may be hearing from the league for his acting job. Mike Conley had 18 points, four assists, two 3-pointers and a full stat line, Marc Gasol double-doubled with 12 points, 14 boards and two blocks, and Jerryd Bayless added 18 points, three assists and a 3-pointer, but missed a game-tying (and ill-advised) 3-pointer late in OT. The Grizzlies made a courageous 18-point comeback, but it wasn't enough in the end.

Zach Randolph scored two points on 1-of-8 shooting to go with seven boards, one block and one turnover in 28 minutes during Game 1's loss to the Spurs.

He looked more like Anthony Randolph than Zach Randolph. Z-Bo couldn't buy a bucket today and he took five attempts from inside the paint. He did get a few second chances with three offensive boards, but not even his putbacks could fall. He'll look to turn it around in Game 2 on Tuesday.
May 19 - 5:57 PM

Zach Randolph bounced back after a couple poor outings for 28 points, 14 rebounds and two steals on 8-of-17 shooting, and also hit 12-of-16 free throws as the Grizzlies beat the Thunder 88-84 in OKC to win Game 5 and take the series 4-1, advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

This is the Grizzlies' first trip to the WCF and they'll face the winner of the Spurs-Warriors series. Randolph missed a pair of free throws with 10 seconds left and a two-point lead, but Kevin Durant wasn't even close with the wide-open jumper he created for himself. Mike Conley had 13 points and 11 dimes, Marc Gasol hit some big shots late to finish with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Tony Allen added 11 points, a huge, late 3-point play and stellar defense in the win.
May 16 - 12:40 AM

Zach Randolph double-doubled with 18 points and 10 boards in Sunday's 93-91 loss to the Thunder in 37 minutes.

The game was played at Memphis' pace for the most part, but they were outscored in the paint 36-32 and had just three fast break points. The Thunder ranked just 29th in the NBA for points in the paint while Memphis allowed the least amount of points in the paint in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies match up nicely against the Westbrook-less Thunder, but they'll need to limit their mistakes on Tuesday.
May 5 - 4:14 PM

The NBA will not punish Zach Randolph and Blake Griffin for their altercation during Friday's Game 6, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles.

Randolph and Griffin ended up wrestling on the ground during the game and there had been some thought Z-Bo would hear from the league before the second round. However, Shelburne said she's been told there's "nothing to worry about" from a league perspective.
May 4 - 11:42 AM

Zach Randolph (ankle) scored 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting with five rebounds and four assists as the Grizzlies took down the Clippers by the score of 118-105 in Friday's clinching Game 6 win.

Randolph might hear from the league for his altercation with Blake Griffin, though both players remained in the game and a suspension would be unlikely. Mike Conley (23 points, seven assists), Tony Allen (postseason-best 19 points, seven boards, six assists, four steals) and Tayshaun Prince (11 points, six boards, five assists, one steal, two blocks) were much too productive against a Clipper team with very few producers tonight.
May 4 - 1:06 AM

Zach Randolph revealed that his ankle is "banged up" and it's "as big as a balloon" right now.

"Talk to the trainers. I'm getting treatment every day. It's the playoffs," he said. Z-Bo was asked about Blake Griffin's ankle sprain and clearly wasn't sympathetic at all. "Last year when I played in the playoffs, I wasn't 100 percent, but I was out there, so I had to be 100 percent. It's the playoffs. It's a big-boy game." As if there hasn't been enough of the good stuff in this series, Friday night's Game 6 just got a whole lot more interesting with Randolph calling out Griffin.

May 3 - 10:10 AM

Zach Randolph hit 11-of-21 shots for 25 points, 11 rebounds and two steals as the Grizzlies took a 3-2 lead over the Clippers with Tuesday's 103-93 Game 5 win at L.A.

Randolph enjoyed life without Blake Griffin, who was hobbled by a badly sprained right ankle before leaving early, while Marc Gasol came through with 21 points, eight boards and two blocks in the win. Mike Conley added 20 points and six dimes tonight, as the Grizzlies will look to eliminate the Clippers in Game 6 on Friday night in Memphis.
May 1 - 1:34 AM

Zach Randolph carried the Grizzlies with a 27-point outburst in a 94-82 win over the Clippers, while adding 11 boards, two assists and one steal in 37 minutes.

He scored 13 points in each of the last two games, but he was a beast in the paint with eight of his nine field goals coming from within five feet tonight. Z-Bo added six offensive boards, which was more than the Clippers five as a team. Mike Conley had a rough night, shooting 1-of-9 from the field, but the Grizzlies as a defensive unit showed why they allowed the fewest points in the NBA. They will look to level the series at two in Saturday's Game 4 at Memphis.
Apr 26 - 12:32 AM

Zach Randolph went off for 25 points and 19 boards on 10-of-20 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Jazz.

The Grizzlies will face the Clippers on Saturday in Game 1 of the playoffs and this should be a highly entertaining series. If Z-Bo plays like this in that series, the Clippers will have their hands full.
Apr 17 - 11:08 PM

Zach Randolph had 16 points on 7-of-17 shooting, 12 rebounds, one steal and two blocks as the Grizzlies lost a critical game at home to the Clippers on Saturday.

Memphis was knocked out of the playoffs by the Clippers last season, and Z-Bo needs to step up his play if they hope to avoid a similar fate this year. He came in averaging just 13.0 points on 39.5 percent shooting in his past six games, with 8.8 rebounds and little else of value to fantasy owners. It's likely that a variety of nagging injuries are wearing on him, but Lionel Hollins wasn't about to rest him with the Grizzlies just a game back of L.A. for the No. 4 seed (now two games back).
Apr 13 - 11:12 PM

Zach Randolph said he's likely to exercise his 2014/15 player option to remain with the Grizzlies.

Z-Bo said he loves the city and the team, but that assumes he won't be traded before the end of his contract. Remember that Randolph was a subject of trade rumors before and after the Rudy Gay deal, and it wouldn't be surprising to see his name pop up in rumors again in the offseason.
Apr 4 - 8:31 AM

Zach Randolph scored 14 points in Saturday's win over the Wolves, adding seven boards, two assists and one steal in 29 minutes.

He has fallen off a little and it's not surprising since his conditioning has come into question multiple times in his career. However, Z-Bo and the Grizzlies' style of play works in his favor with their slower, defense-first mentality. He should be starting in all leagues.
Mar 30 - 11:16 PM

Zach Randolph bounced back from a cold stretch in Friday's win over the Rockets, scoring 21 points on 6-of-12 shooting (9-of-10 FTs) with 12 rebounds and three assists.

It was only a matter of time and it's possible whatever internal stuff may or may not have been happening was resolved. Marc Gasol added 21 points with five boards, four assists and a block in the win.
