Tinsley's minutes have been on the decline and he logged just 14 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday. Meanwhile, Watson's minutes have held steady and he's played between 22 and 24 minutes in each of his last five games. Earl Watson (knee) had four points, five assists and one steal in 22 minutes as he returned from a four-game absence against the Kings.

The veteran backup also picked up five fouls and there's no reason to touch him in standard fantasy leagues -- he's averaging 2.0 points and 4.2 assists in 18 minutes per game this season.

Watson did not play on Wednesday despite being a game-time decision, and with a non-displaced fracture in his leg, we're considering him very questionable on Friday. Even if he's active, we wouldn't be surprised to see Alec Burks' run at point guard continue.

Earl Watson (leg) will not play against the Bucks on Wednesday.

He was listed as a game-time decision for the game and he will dress. Watson's non-displaced fracture must not be too bad and he could return in the coming games. Alec Burks has been much better lately and he is worth a look in deeper leagues.

Earl Watson (leg) has been upgraded to a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.

Watson has a non-displaced fracture in his right leg, so it's pretty curious that he's a game-time decision on Wednesday. We don't expect him to play, but if he does, he could eat into the value of Alec Burks.

Watson has a non-displaced fracture in his right leg and he's going to be out for quite some time. He was playing about 22 minutes per game before going down and guys like Alec Burks and Jamaal Tinsley will pick up some more playing time. Neither player has been turning heads, though.

No surprise here, as Watson was just diagnosed with a bone bruise and small fracture in the tibia of his right leg. Randy Foye, Jamaal Tinsley and Alec Burks will all take on more minutes until Watson resumes his role off the bench.

An MRI on Earl Watson's right leg revealed a bone bruise and a non-displaced fracture in his tibia.

Watson can ramp up his activity according to his comfort level, but realistically he's out indefinitely (Steve Nash missed well over a month after a similar injury earlier this season). Watson's absence leaves Jamaal Tinsley on an island at PG for the Jazz.

Earl Watson (leg) did not rejoin the team for Saturday's game and he will not play against the Blazers.

He had an MRI on his leg, but those results have yet to be released. Jamaal Tinsley and Alec Burks should pick up most of the point guard duties with Watson out. Tinsley had a rough night on Friday, so the Jazz might be more inclined to give Burks more opportunity.

He still could join the team in time for Saturday night's game against the Blazers, but it's appearing doubtful at this point. Jamaal Tinsley and Alec Burks are likely to split the point guard duties.

Earl Watson will not return to Friday's game due to a right lower leg injury.

He went to the locker room on two separate occasions and was ruled out pretty quickly following his second trip. Jamaal Tinsley and Alec Burks will pick up some extra minutes. Tinsley's upside isn't high, but Burks is worth keeping an eye on in deeper formats.

Earl Watson and Jamaal Tinsley will split backup point guard duties behind Mo Williams.

They both deserve to play," Tyrone Corbin said. "Jamaal's done a tremendous job for us. Earl's working his way back in. There's not going to be a lot of minutes there now that Mo's back up to speed." As long as Williams is healthy, neither Tinsley nor Watson are fantasy options.
