Flip Murray is one of five players who have verbally agreed to participate in the Grizzlies' training camp on non-guaranteed contracts.
Murray has been in the D-League and overseas since 2010, and it's doubtful that he'll make the Grizzlies' regular season roster. The other players who accepted invitations are Ronald Dupree and centers Jerome Jordan, Michael Dunigan and Jarrid Famous. Sun, Sep 16, 2012 10:16:00 AM

Veteran guard Flip Murray has accepted a deal to play for the Turkish team Efes Pilsen for the rest of the season.

Murray received a non-guaranteed offer from the Warriors, which he declined, and recently worked out for the Grizzlies. He could surface state-side next season, or sign another deal in Turkey, China, or Europe.

Veteran SG Flip Murray has been in contact with Chinese teams and could sign overseas this summer.

Murray had previously drawn interest from the Cavs, Clippers, and Bulls. He would likely be asked to accept the veteran's minimum for any NBA team, so if the money is right don't be shocked to see him in a Flying Dragons uniform in 2010-11.

Free agent guard Flip Murray is receiving interest from the Cavaliers, Clippers, and Bulls.

Murray has also said that he'd be willing to re-sign with Charlotte. No matter where he lands, he should fill the same role -- bursts of scoring off the bench.

Bulls guard Flip Murray said on Wednesday that he'd happily come back to Charlotte next season if the Bobcats were interested in signing him.

Murray, a sporadically potent scorer, will be a free agent this summer. For now, he will try to help the Bulls combat the #1 seed Cavaliers in the first round.

Flip Murray didn't score in four minutes off the bench on Tuesday, his first scoreless effort since joining the Bulls.

Chicago leaned heavily on their starters in this game, and Brad Miller was the only reserve to log more than nine minutes. Hakim Warrick was scoreless in five minutes, and Jannero Pargo had two points in nine minutes.

Coming off of two straight 23-point outings, Flip Murray went cold against the Wizards on Friday, hitting just 2-of-11 shots from the field to finish with seven points, five rebounds, and three assists in 26 minutes.

The minutes and shot attempts look good, but the already risky play looks even more risky with Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng back in the fold. Keep him in mind if you feel like gambling, but there's probably better options available if you're in a pinch.

Flip Murray lit up the Suns for 23 points off the bench on Tuesday, making 9-of-12 FGs with four 3-pointers, a season-high nine rebounds, four assists and one steal.

This makes back-to-back 23-point games for Flip, who is as streaky as any shooter in the league. He remains a feast or famine option, but hopefully you can catch him on another night like this -- he even swished a hook shot from halfcourt at the end of the third quarter, but it was ruled too late.

Flip Murray got hot off the bench for the Bulls on Sunday, scoring 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting (including three 3-pointers) with three rebounds, four rebounds, and two steals in 30 minutes.

His hot-hand helped limit Kirk Hinrich to just 11 points in 28 minutes, and has once again peaked owners' interests with a scoring outburst from out of nowhere. Once you average out all the peaks and valleys he is averaging just about 10 points per game in March, highlighting his inconsistency.

Flip Murray scored 18 points in 35 minutes off Chicago's bench on Monday, making 4-of-8 FGs and 9-of-11 FTs.

Murray chipped in four rebounds, three assists, and even blocked a shot for good measure. He has scored double-digit points in five of the past six games and is a borderline fantasy option in average leagues.

Flip Murray had 12 points on 5-for-17 shooting in Friday's loss to the Cavs.

Murray came off the bench as he is the backup for Kirk Hinrich, not Derrick Rose. He'll hold some value as a volume shooter off the bench, but you have to be prepared to take a hit in field goal percentage and get very little production outside of points.

Bulls SG Flip Murray scored a team-high 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting in Tuesday's loss, making four 3-pointers with three rebounds, two assists and five steals.

The pure scoring guard had been averaging 23 minutes per game with the Bulls, but picked up plenty of run with Derrick Rose injured and Kirk Hinrich suspended. His steals were a welcome surprise -- it seems like he will start again on Wednesday if Derrick Rose is still out, but there are no guarantees.

Flip Murray will start at shooting guard for the Bulls on Tuesday.

Murray will pair in the backcourt with Jannero Pargo thanks to Derrick Rose's injury and Kirk Hinrich's suspension. Flip is a decent plug-n-play as he's the best scorer in uniform for the Bulls tonight.
Tue, Mar 16, 2010 03:43:00 PM

Flip Murray had 15 points and three 3-pointers in Friday's loss, the seventh straight for the Bulls.

Murray is getting more minutes because of Derrick Rose's wrist injury, and is worth a look if you need threes in a deep league.
Fri, Mar 12, 2010 10:46:00 PM

Flip Murray scored just five points on 2-of-6 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes off the bench during the Bulls' 111-82 blowout loss to the Magic on Thursday.

We wouldn't read into his line since garbage time destroyed many nights, and if Derrick Rose (wrist) misses time then Flip and Jannero Pargo will both be worth a look. It remains to be seen what rotation Vinny Del Negro uses, but his stock just went up depending on the duration of Rose's injury.
