Chris Kaman logged 10 minutes vs. his former team on Wednesday, finishing with four points on 2-of-6 shooting, five rebounds and one steal.
Terry Stotts made multiple adjustments tonight and getting Kaman involved early was one of them, something foreshadowed down the stretch of Game 1. The veteran appeared in only 16 games this regular season and isn't a viable DFS play, but his re-emergence does make Ed Davis (two points, six boards in 13 minutes) a much riskier option. Chris Kaman (strained abdomen) logged eight minutes vs. the Clippers on Sunday, finishing with six points on 3-of-4 shooting, two rebounds, one assist and two turnovers.

Kaman wasn't part of the rotation for most of the season but he earned minutes tonight with Portland down big in the fourth quarter. He knocked down some shots and was used to hack DeAndre Jordan, but he won't be a relevant fantasy player while Mason Plumlee and Ed Davis are healthy.

Chris Kaman (strained abdomen) didn't play vs. the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Kaman isn't part of the rotation anyway, so this could just as easily have been a DNP-CD from Terry Stotts.

Chris Kaman (abdominal strain) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Kaman isn't a regular part of the rotation in Portland, so his playing status is an irrelevant factor in fantasy hoops.

Chris Kaman suffered a sprained ankle on Tuesday vs. the Kings.

His status for Wednesday's game vs. the Thunder is up in the air, but he may not play since he isn't a consistent part of the rotation anyways. He finished Tuesday's game with one rebound and one assist in two minutes.

Ed Davis has been a boss, so the Blazers don't need Kaman. Plus, their small-ball lineup has been very good.

Chris Kaman (illness) will not play against the Kings on Monday.

He was not in the rotation anyway. Kaman can be ignored in all leagues.
Mar 28 - 4:08 PM

Chris Kaman is a candidate to be traded by the Trail Blazers.

Kaman agreed to a role at the end of the bench in exchange for the Blazers picking up his $5 million option during the offseason, but it also came with the "caveat" that GM Neil Olshey would trade Kaman if it could result in improving Portland's roster. "I know it's a high possibility," Kaman said. Regardless of where the veteran center suits up, Kaman won't be a fantasy option at this stage of his career.
