The Magic officially signed Luke Ridnour on Friday.
"We’re extremely excited to welcome Luke [Ridnour] and his family to Orlando," said Magic GM Rob Hennigan. "Luke is a proven player in this league who is well-respected as a teammate and competitor. The depth and veteran experience he will provide to our backcourt will help our team continue to grow." Ridnour will likely backup Elfrid Payton in Orlando, and his minutes will be in the low 20s, which takes him out of the conversation in standard leagues. Jul 25 - 5:04 PM

The Magic will sign Luke Ridnour.

This move will help offset losing Jameer Nelson, but the Magic are clearly going into a rebuilding mode. Elfrid Payton's minutes should be safe and Ridnour will likely see time in the low 20s this season.
Jul 16 - 2:53 PM

Luke Ridnour started for Kemba Walker (groin) and had 12 points, eight assists, a block and two 3-pointers on 4-of-8 shooting on Saturday.

He's not worth starting in most leagues, but the Bobcats may continue to use him in hopes that Walker's groin is good to go by the start of the playoffs.
Apr 12 - 10:28 PM

Luke Ridnour played 31 minutes in a start against the Celtics in Friday's 106-103 loss, scoring nine points two boards, five assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Kemba Walker (groin) was suddenly questionable today and he missed this game, which was his first game out of the lineup since Feb. 1. The Bobcats get the dream matchup against the Sixers on Saturday, so Ridnour could be a plug-and-play option for fantasy owners.
Apr 11 - 11:28 PM

Luke Ridnour will start in place of Kemba Walker (groin) vs. the Celtics on Friday.

He's been the backup to Kemba since joining the team after the trade deadline. Ridnour's numbers with the Bobcats are not great, making 35.0 percent from the field for 3.1 points per game in 13.3 minutes. He's a risky option in fantasy leagues with 13 games tonight.
Apr 11 - 6:09 PM

Luke Ridnour and Jannero Pargo are expected to share point guard duties in Friday's game against the Celtics.

Kemba Walker (groin) is on the bad side of a questionable tag. The rotation is unknown right now because the last time Walker was out, Ramon Sessions was still a Bobcat. We're guessing that Ridnour will start and share time pretty evenly with Pargo, making both low-upside streamers.
Apr 11 - 1:17 PM

Luke Ridnour played 13 minutes against the Spurs on Friday with two points and one assist.

He'll get some minutes as Kemba Walker's backup, but that's pretty much it. Ridnour won't have fantasy value while Walker is healthy.
Mar 1 - 12:02 AM

Luke Ridnour was traded to the Bobcats on Thursday.

He was passed by Gary Neal and Nate Wolters for minutes with the Bucks and will get a new opportunity in Charlotte. Kemba Walker is capable of playing big minutes and the Bobcats have surprisingly gotten a lot out of Jannero Pargo, so there's little to like about picking up Ridnour.
Feb 20 - 12:54 PM

The Wizards and Kings have both contacted the Bucks about trading for Luke Ridnour, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger.

Ridnour is still an effective PG and his expiring $4.4 million contract is eminently tradable, so this rumor has plausibility on its side. "The Bucks are also fielding calls about their young players," Berger writes, "but the message from the Bucks has been consistent: Barring a significant offer, their young assets are staying put." Gary Neal is also on the block and Ersan Ilyasova has reportedly asked to be traded, making Milwaukee a team to watch over the next four days.

Feb 17 - 9:31 AM

Coach Larry Drew confirmed Luke Ridnour was 100 percent healthy on Monday night.

Ridnour took a true DNP-CD, as he's fallen behind Brandon Knight, Nate Wolters and Gary Neal.
Feb 11 - 2:08 PM

Luke Ridnour (back) was listed as a DNP-CD on Monday against the Celtics.

We'll let you know if his back continues to be a problem but it's more than likely he was simply out of the rotation tonight. Or both.
Feb 10 - 11:23 PM

Luke Ridnour (back) will return against the Celtics on Monday.

He has been out of the rotation for the most part with rookie Nate Wolters and Gary Neal leapfrogging him for minutes. Ridnour is going to have a tough time holding value in most leagues while Brandon Knight is healthy.
Feb 10 - 6:38 PM

Luke Ridnour's ailing back will sideline him vs. the Rockets on Saturday.

Ridnour doesn't have much appeal with both Nate Wolters and Gary Neal active for the Bucks, so his absence shouldn't alter fantasy lineups in standard formats. Consider him questionable for Monday's game vs. the Celtics.
Feb 8 - 6:58 PM

Luke Ridnour is questionable to play against the Rockets on Saturday.

He has not scored a point in any of his last five games with two DNP-CDs mixed in there. Ridnour has fallen behind Nate Wolters and Gary Neal in the rotation and has no fantasy value right now. He'll likely need an injury to Brandon Knight in order to get back on the radar.
Feb 7 - 2:11 PM

Luke Ridnour dealt with back tightness and was unable to return to Wednesday's game against the Nuggets after four minutes.

Ridnour has dealt with back problems before and may need to miss time. If it happens it should just mean more minutes for Nate Wolters.
