Dahntay Jones has received interest from the Kings, Clippers and Knicks.
It'll be a for minimum deal. Jones didn't do much this season and his most newsworthy item of the season was bumping into Draymond Green during an interview. He's from New Jersey, so maybe that can actually help the Knicks sign someone. Jul 1 - 10:55 PM

Danhntay Jones has been fined by the NBA for his post-game bump of Draymond Green.

Jones bumped Green while he was giving him a post-game interview and will now have to pay $10,000 for his actions. While Jones can be left on the wire in all fantasy leagues, this incident will surely add some fire to a rivalry that has already been simmering since last year's playoffs.

The Clippers have signed Dahntay Jones to a contract that will keep him with the team for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.

Through nine games with the Clippers, Jones has put up a total of four points, one steal, and one rebound. There's not a league where he should be owned.
Feb 3 - 4:16 PM

Doc Rivers confirmed that the Clippers will sign Dahntay Jones to a second 10-day contract this week.

"He's been great for the young guys, for Austin [Rivers] and C.J. [Wilcox]," Rivers said. "He's a veteran. He's happy to be here. He has a toughness about him as well that I think will be good for us." The 34-year-old Jones is playing only six minutes per game with L.A. and doesn't have any fantasy value.

Clippers sign G/F Dahntay Jones to a 10-day contract.

Jones hasn't played in the NBA since 2012-13, when he averaged 3.4 points on 36.9 percent shooting with the Hawks and Mavericks. He's not worth fantasy owners' attention.

The Clippers are now expected to sign Dahntay Jones to a 10-day contract as opposed to Darius Miller.

While this has no fantasy implications outside of the deepest of leagues, we will continue to monitor this situation closely. Regardless of which player is signed, they can both remain on the waiver wire until further notice.

Jazz waive G/F Dahntay Jones.

He played 7.3 minutes per game over the last three contests and didn't have much of a chance to make the team. Jones might wind up on another team on a 10-day deal at some point.

Dahntay Jones signed with the Jazz for training camp.

The terms of the deal are not yet known, but it's probably not a guaranteed deal. Jones has worked out for a handful of teams and likely thinks he has the best chance to make an NBA team with the Jazz.

Dahntay Jones worked out for the Wizards on Thursday in Las Vegas.

As many as 20 teams are expected to take a look at Jones this summer. There is believed to be little to no interest from the Wizards, though. Jones has been working out for other East Coast teams such as the Nets, 76ers and Knicks, but nothing is imminent. He didn't play in the NBA last season after the Bulls waived him in October.

The Knicks are expected to work out Dahntay Jones.

The Sixers and Nets are also expected to give him a look. Jones is from Hamilton, NJ, so staying close to home may explain the location of these workouts. He is a longshot to make any team's rotation.

The Knicks worked out free agent G/F Dahntay Jones on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

New York has two open roster spots and they're reportedly hoping to fill one of them with a wing defender. Jones fits the bill but he's extremely unlikely to provide fantasy value even if he does land a 10-day contract with the Knicks.

Bulls waive G/F Dahntay Jones.

The veteran swingman may earn a minimum contract with another team, but his days of fantasy relevance are over. Chicago's training camp roster now stands at 15 players.

Dahntay Jones started at SG and played 43 minutes on Saturday, but he scored only nine points with three boards, two assists and three steals.

Jones shot 2-of-10 from the field in a hard-fought road game which the Hawks ultimately lost to the Spurs. Tonight's quiet line aside, Jones is too risky to pick up in standard leagues -- he only started tonight because the Hawks were missing Devin Harris (foot), DeShawn Stevenson (rest) and Kyle Korver (general soreness).

Dahntay Jones will start alongside Devin Harris with Jeff Teague (ankle) sidelined Wednesday.

In 10 games with the Hawks, Jones has averaged just 1.2 points, 0.9 assists and 0.8 rebounds while playing roughly 10 minutes per night. He's not worth spot-start consideration except maybe in the deepest of leagues.

Dahntay Jones made his debut for the Hawks on Friday in a two-minute effort.

Jones needs to show he can put up numbers before he gets consideration in the deepest of leagues.
