Leandro Barbosa and the Warriors agreed on a one-year, $2.5 million deal.

The Pelicans are reportedly "likely" to have interest in free agent G Leandro Barbosa.

Alvin Gentry's pre-existing relationship with Barbosa may factor into New Orleans' interest, and Barbosa would give them some backcourt insurance with Norris Cole entering restricted free agency and Toney Douglas' future in New Orleans uncertain.

Jun 30 - 9:05 PM

Leandro Barbosa was a man on a mission Tuesday, coming off the bench for 14 points in 14 minutes during the Warriors' Game 2 defeat.

Kerr said after the third quarter that his team wasn't "poised" and "felt rushed" before finding some success with a small lineup. Barbosa helped Golden State's second unit claim a 25-16 advantage tonight, and they'll look to bolster the starters again on Saturday.
May 6 - 1:50 AM

Leandro Barbosa (Achilles) played 15 minutes against the Grizzlies on Monday, scoring nine points with two assists and one 3-pointer.

He missed the last two games, but coach Steve Kerr never said Barbosa had a serious injury. If he gets minutes, that will push Justin Holiday down on the depth chart.
Apr 13 - 3:33 PM

Leandro Barbosa (Achilles) will not play against the Wolves on Saturday.

It'll be his second straight game out with this injury. Justin Holiday will be in the rotation again, but is not a fantasy option right now. However, the Warriors could wind up resting players even in a home game.
Apr 11 - 3:20 PM

Leandro Barbosa is questionable to play against the Wolves on Saturday.

He did not play on Thursday and he might just rest for the remainder of the regular season. Justin Holiday basically took his spot in the rotation.
Apr 10 - 8:58 PM

Leandro Barbosa (Achilles) will not play against the Blazers on Thursday.

He's been playing around 20 minutes, so there should be more minutes going to Shaun Livingston with either Justin Holiday or Brandon Rush sliding into the rotation. Livingston is worth a look tonight while Holiday is probably a little better than Rush.
Apr 9 - 8:48 PM

Leandro Barbosa stepped up with 12 points, two rebounds and four assists in an expanded role off the Warriors' bench on Sunday.

Shaun Livingston was serving a one-game suspension tonight, allowing Barbosa to play 24 minutes, so this won't have any lasting implications. He gives the Warriors' bench another weapon offensively but plays too few minutes to make an impact in standard fantasy leagues -- most of his production tonight happened during the garbage-time fourth quarter.
Apr 5 - 9:23 PM

Leandro Barbosa made 8-of-10 from the field for 19 points against the Jazz on Saturday with two rebounds, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer.

As great as this line was, Klay Thompson (ankle) is going to be re-evaluated on Sunday and will likely be ready to go very soon. The Warriors have been working with Barbosa on his defense and he's been a nice little addition for them. He can be kept on the wire, though.
Mar 22 - 1:10 AM

Leandro Barbosa played 28 minutes and hit 5-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 13 points, three assists and a steal on Wednesday.

Barbosa looked good tonight, but as long as Justin Holiday, and not Barbosa, is starting for Klay Thompson, Barbosa will likely be too inconsistent to use in fantasy.
Mar 19 - 2:27 AM

Leandro Barbosa (illness) will play against the Bucks on Wednesday.

He missed Monday due to an illness and should be back to his usual minutes in the teens. Justin Holiday and Shaun Livingston will lose some minutes tonight. Barbosa won't have much value while Stephen Curry is active.
Mar 4 - 9:45 PM

Leandro Barbosa (illness) will not play against the Nets on Monday.

He is playing minutes in the teens in close games and the Warriors might have to shift Shaun Livingston around a little more tonight. We may also see more of Justin Holiday to help because the Warriors might rest Andrew Bogut tonight, as well. Barbosa can be left on the wire.
Mar 2 - 5:19 PM

Leandro Barbosa had nine points, one 3-pointer, two assists and two steals off the bench vs. Indiana, logging 21 minutes in Stephen Curry's absence.

Curry was sidelined by a fluky foot injury and Barbosa found himself playing the third-most minutes all season. He's barely on the deep-league radar with Curry out and can be left on the waiver wire in all formats.
Feb 22 - 8:54 PM

Leandro Barbosa scored a season-high 17 points in just 17 minutes of action on Tuesday, making 5-of-9 FGs, including two 3-pointers, and 5-of-6 FTs.

He also had one rebound and one steal but didn't hand out any assists, and his big scoring night is attributable to the Sixers' horrendous defense and a lopsided score. This was his first double-digit game since early November and it would be shocking if he does it again vs. the Raptors on Friday.
Wed, Dec 31, 2014 01:33:00 AM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) returned to action on Sunday with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in just 13 minutes off the Warriors' bench.

Barbosa would earn more playing time if Stephen Curry or Shaun Livingston went down with an injury, but he's a fantasy non-entity as long as the Warriors' backcourt is intact.
