Leandro Barbosa made 8-of-10 from the field for 19 points against the Jazz on Saturday with two rebounds, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer.
As great as this line was, Klay Thompson (ankle) is going to be re-evaluated on Sunday and will likely be ready to go very soon. The Warriors have been working with Barbosa on his defense and he's been a nice little addition for them. He can be kept on the wire, though. Mar 22 - 1:10 AM

Date:

Leandro Barbosa played 28 minutes and hit 5-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 13 points, three assists and a steal on Wednesday.

Barbosa looked good tonight, but as long as Justin Holiday, and not Barbosa, is starting for Klay Thompson, Barbosa will likely be too inconsistent to use in fantasy.
Mar 19 - 2:27 AM

Leandro Barbosa (illness) will play against the Bucks on Wednesday.

He missed Monday due to an illness and should be back to his usual minutes in the teens. Justin Holiday and Shaun Livingston will lose some minutes tonight. Barbosa won't have much value while Stephen Curry is active.
Mar 4 - 9:45 PM

Leandro Barbosa (illness) will not play against the Nets on Monday.

He is playing minutes in the teens in close games and the Warriors might have to shift Shaun Livingston around a little more tonight. We may also see more of Justin Holiday to help because the Warriors might rest Andrew Bogut tonight, as well. Barbosa can be left on the wire.
Mar 2 - 5:19 PM

Leandro Barbosa had nine points, one 3-pointer, two assists and two steals off the bench vs. Indiana, logging 21 minutes in Stephen Curry's absence.

Curry was sidelined by a fluky foot injury and Barbosa found himself playing the third-most minutes all season. He's barely on the deep-league radar with Curry out and can be left on the waiver wire in all formats.
Feb 22 - 8:54 PM

Leandro Barbosa scored a season-high 17 points in just 17 minutes of action on Tuesday, making 5-of-9 FGs, including two 3-pointers, and 5-of-6 FTs.

He also had one rebound and one steal but didn't hand out any assists, and his big scoring night is attributable to the Sixers' horrendous defense and a lopsided score. This was his first double-digit game since early November and it would be shocking if he does it again vs. the Raptors on Friday.

Leandro Barbosa (knee) returned to action on Sunday with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in just 13 minutes off the Warriors' bench.

Barbosa would earn more playing time if Stephen Curry or Shaun Livingston went down with an injury, but he's a fantasy non-entity as long as the Warriors' backcourt is intact.

Leandro Barbosa (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons.

Barbosa has a very minimal role with the Warriors, and he can remain on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues.
Sun, Nov 30, 2014 02:33:00 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is questionable to play against the Pistons on Sunday.

He was expected to play on Friday and the Warriors never gave him a chance. Barbosa has very little fantasy value while the Warriors are even remotely healthy.

Leandro Barbosa (knee) will play Friday vs. the Hornets.

Barbosa is averaging 6.3 points and not much else over 15.4 minutes of action off the bench this season, and he's simply not worth using in standard leagues. Leave him on the wire.

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is questionable to face the Hornets on Friday.

He has only been going through 3-on-3 in practice and we don't expect him to do much. It's his birthday today, but fantasy owners will not want to ride that narrative even if he plays. Barbosa has very little fantasy value.
Fri, Nov 28, 2014 04:25:00 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) will not play in Wednesday's game vs. the Magic.

This is curious since coach Steve Kerr said that Barbosa could have played more than four minutes on Tuesday, but was only limited for matchup purposes. Regardless, the Warriors' veteran combo guard doesn't have reliable value unless injuries thin out the backcourt rotation. Brandon Rush should earn a few extra minutes in Barbosa's absence.
Wed, Nov 26, 2014 06:01:00 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) played four minutes on Tuesday because of the matchup not because of his injury.

He was questionable last night, but coach Steve Kerr wanted to get Brandon Rush some minutes. Barbosa will not have much fantasy value while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are healthy.
Wed, Nov 26, 2014 05:47:00 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) played four minutes off the bench in Tuesday's game, scoring two points with two rebounds and one steal.

He's coming off a minor knee sprain and the injury isn't a concern going forward, but LB's playing time is too limited for use outside of the deepest leagues. Ignore him while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are healthy.
Tue, Nov 25, 2014 10:23:00 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is expected to suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Heat.

Barbosa is averaging just 6.7 points over 16 minutes of action off the Warriors bench, so this news doesn't mean much for owners in standard leagues. Barbosa is only going to have value if there's an injury to one of the Warriors starting guards, and he can safely be left on the wire in most leagues.
