Leandro Barbosa (knee) returned to action on Sunday with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in just 13 minutes off the Warriors' bench.
Barbosa would earn more playing time if Stephen Curry or Shaun Livingston went down with an injury, but he's a fantasy non-entity as long as the Warriors' backcourt is intact. Dec 1 - 1:54 AM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons.

Barbosa has a very minimal role with the Warriors, and he can remain on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues.
Nov 30 - 2:33 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is questionable to play against the Pistons on Sunday.

He was expected to play on Friday and the Warriors never gave him a chance. Barbosa has very little fantasy value while the Warriors are even remotely healthy.
Nov 29 - 5:22 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) will play Friday vs. the Hornets.

Barbosa is averaging 6.3 points and not much else over 15.4 minutes of action off the bench this season, and he's simply not worth using in standard leagues. Leave him on the wire.
Nov 28 - 5:37 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is questionable to face the Hornets on Friday.

He has only been going through 3-on-3 in practice and we don't expect him to do much. It's his birthday today, but fantasy owners will not want to ride that narrative even if he plays. Barbosa has very little fantasy value.
Nov 28 - 4:25 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) will not play in Wednesday's game vs. the Magic.

This is curious since coach Steve Kerr said that Barbosa could have played more than four minutes on Tuesday, but was only limited for matchup purposes. Regardless, the Warriors' veteran combo guard doesn't have reliable value unless injuries thin out the backcourt rotation. Brandon Rush should earn a few extra minutes in Barbosa's absence.
Nov 26 - 6:01 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) played four minutes on Tuesday because of the matchup not because of his injury.

He was questionable last night, but coach Steve Kerr wanted to get Brandon Rush some minutes. Barbosa will not have much fantasy value while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are healthy.
Nov 26 - 5:47 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) played four minutes off the bench in Tuesday's game, scoring two points with two rebounds and one steal.

He's coming off a minor knee sprain and the injury isn't a concern going forward, but LB's playing time is too limited for use outside of the deepest leagues. Ignore him while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are healthy.
Nov 25 - 10:23 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is expected to suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Heat.

Barbosa is averaging just 6.7 points over 16 minutes of action off the Warriors bench, so this news doesn't mean much for owners in standard leagues. Barbosa is only going to have value if there's an injury to one of the Warriors starting guards, and he can safely be left on the wire in most leagues.
Nov 25 - 2:08 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is questionable to play on Tuesday vs. Miami and went through a light practice on Monday.

He dodged a bullett after a scary knee injury over the weekend and could be back. Considering he's had an ACL tear in his career, the Warriors are certainly going to be cautious. He's far to risky to use in almost any league.
Nov 24 - 6:06 PM

Leandro Barbosa (knee) is questionable to play against the Heat on Tuesday.

Barbosa left Sunday's game with a sprained knee, but he said afterward that it's not a serious concern. Expect the Warriors to proceed with caution with Barbosa, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he misses Tuesday's game to get him some extra rest. Shaun Livingston should see a small bump in minutes if that happens.
Nov 24 - 10:01 AM

Leandro Barbosa (hyperextended knee) wrote after Sunday's game that he "had no serious injury, just a bit of pain."

He attempted to continue playing after the hyperextension but the Warriors' training staff wisely pulled him from the game to prevent further injury. It doesn't sound like he'll miss any time, but as a precaution we'll list him as questionable for Tuesday's game.
Nov 24 - 1:25 AM

Leandro Barbosa suffered a sprained right knee during Sunday's game, and he will not return.

Barbosa didn't immediately leave the game, staying in to shoot free throws and play a few possessions, but he was ruled out upon further examination. Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala should get more playing time in his absence, but fantasy owners should consider him questionable to play Tuesday.
Nov 23 - 8:06 PM

Leandro Barbosa filled in at SG with Klay Thompson (hand) out on Sunday, scoring 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting with two 3-pointers and two rebounds in 31 minutes.

Barbosa's starting gig may be a one-time opportunity, as Klay's injury doesn't sound serious, so he can be left on the waiver wire in standard league. He had played between 14-18 minutes in each of the Warriors' previous five games.
Nov 9 - 11:00 PM

Leandro Barbosa will draw the start for Sunday's game in place of Klay Thompson (hand).

We are not sure how serious Thompson's sprained hand is just yet, but we will update his status as needed. Barbosa is worth a look in daily leagues or for owners just looking for some short-term help.
