Josh Howard had two workouts at the American Airlines Center this week in the hopes of landing an NBA contract.

Howard hasn't been in the league since 2012 and has had two major knee surgeries in the past five years, so his chances of latching on with an NBA team are very slim. We will let you know if he gets a training camp invite, but fantasy owners can simply ignore him.

Josh Howard is working out in Las Vegas and is hoping to earn a training camp invite.

The 35-year-old hasn't played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season, so it's extremely unlikely that he'll have many NBA suitors. We'll keep an eye on this comeback story, but fantasy owners in standard leagues can feel free to ignore Howard.

Josh Howard is working out in Las Vegas with hopes of being picked up for an NBA camp.

Howard hasn't played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season, and he spent last year playing in the D-League. Howard mentioned that he's open to returning to the D-League if he's unable to get a camp invite, but it's extremely unlikely at 34-years-old he'll be able to sign another NBA contract. He's completely irrelevant from a fantasy perspective.

Josh Howard is hoping that he'll get a chance to continue his basketball career in the NBA.

After a season in the D-League and a summer with the New Orleans Pelican's Summer League squad, the 34-year-old is hoping he can catch on somewhere. "I want to show these guys I still have my legs, I still have my work ethic, and I’m 34," Howard said. "I’m still out here running around with these 24-year-olds." Howard has said he'd explore other options if he is unable to play in the NBA during the 2014-15 season, but he'll be a fantasy non-factor even if he is able to land with a team.

Josh Howard is playing with the Pelicans' Summer League team in the hopes of continuing his NBA career.

Howard's career was derailed by multiple ACL surgeries and he spent last season in the D-League. If he can stay healthy the 34-year-old has a chance to earn a minimum contract, and the Pelicans do need depth at SF, but even if he doesn't latch on with an NBA team he'll continue to play somewhere. "I plan on making a comeback. That's my motivation," Howard said. "Pelicans, D-League, overseas. Whatever happens, just to have the opportunity to play the game that I love. You can't beat that."

The Spurs signed Josh Howard to a non-guaranteed deal on Friday.

This doesn't mean he is going to make the team, but they do need someone to back up Kawhi Leonard. Corey Maggette didn't work out, so they Spurs had similar logic with this move.

The Wolves are expected to call Josh Howard to participate in training camp.

There is no real news yet on this front, but the team is looking for help with Chase Budinger (knee) expected to miss time. Howard worked out with the Spurs and Rockets, but didn't receive an invite. He's no lock to be in Minnesota.

Free agent Josh Howard, who had ACL surgery in January, is hoping to start playing basketball again in September.

Howard last played for the Timberwolves and was with them when he suffered the devastating injury. He's an unrestricted free agent and if his workouts go well this fall, he could end up signing with an NBA team. However, there's no reason to put him on your radar for this year's drafts.

Josh Howard (ACL surgery) wrote on Friday that his rehab is "going great ... it was a clean tear of the ACL this time and nothing else was damaged."

In a post entitled "Staying Positive and Putting It All In Perspective," Howard goes on to thank the Wolves for signing him and he ends on a note suggesting he'll make another NBA comeback attempt. "As soon as they release me to start doing exercises, I'm going to take a page out of Adrian Peterson's book," he wrote. "The sky's the limit for me."

The Timberwolves have waived Josh Howard after an MRI revealed he has a season-ending torn ACL.

It's not the same ACL that Howard tore in 2010, but nevertheless, it's pretty evident that Howard's most productive days are behind him, and beat writer Jerry Zgoda suggests that this is "probably" the end of Howard's career. The 32-year-old averaged a career-low 6.7 points in 11 games this season.

Josh Howard (knee) hopes to return to action vs. the Knicks on Sunday.

The veteran was picked up once Brandon Roy (knee) went down again, but Roy is nearing a return and there's no upside for Howard in standard leagues.
