Jason Kapono has reportedly agreed to a training camp deal with the Warriors.
Kapono has been out of the league since the 2011-12 season, and he was pretty horrible that year, averaging 2.0 points on 38.2 percent shooting from the field, and 29.6 percent from beyond the arc. He's not likely to make the official roster, and he's not on the fantasy radar in any format. Sep 26 - 5:56 PM

Kapono was an absolute embarrassment last season for the Lakers before being traded to the Cavs, where he was eventually bought out. Kapono averaged 2.0 points on 38.2 percent shooting and managed just 29.6 percent from behind the arc while with Los Angeles.

Cavs waive G/F Jason Kapono.

Kapono was included in the Ramon Sessions trade to make the deal work, and was expected to be waived the entire time. He'll likely sign with a playoff-bound team, providing capable perimeter shooting in a minimal bench role.

The Cavs acquired Jason Kapono as part of the Ramon Sessions trade.

Kapono has appeared in just 51 games over the last two seasons due to ineffectiveness. He's unlikely to crack Cleveland's rotation on the wing.

Jason Kapono (personal) returned to action on Friday and played four minutes with just one turnover to his stat line.

We'll let you know if Kapono finds the floor to hit some threes, but otherwise he can be ignored in all formats.

Jason Kapono made his Lakers debut in Monday's exhibition game against the Clippers, hitting two threes on his way to nine points, two rebounds, and an assist in 18 minutes.

If Kapono plays more than 15 minutes per game we'll be shocked, but he could be worth picking up at some point for owners trolling for threes. Regardless, owners shouldn't burn a draft pick on that type of value.

Free agent 3-point shooter Jason Kapono signed a one-year deal with the Lakers on Friday.

Kapono could be worth a look for owners in deep leagues trolling for threes, but first check out the Lakers' training camp rotations and the like. It's not worth drafting Kapono for those purposes until you're sure he's actually going to see the court.

Jason Kapono is expected to sign a one-year veteran minimum deal with the Lakers on Friday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Kapono will get some chances as a sharpshooter off the bench for the Lakers, but is very far off the fantasy radar after averaging a dreadful 0.7 points in 24 games for the Sixers last season.

According to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, Jason Kapono is close to signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kapono would receive a deal for one or two seasons at the veteran's minimum. He'll serve as a shooter off the bench, but he's coming off of a terrible season with the Sixers, and he'll have to prove that he can still contribute.

Jason Kapono will visit the Lakers on Monday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Kapono played in just 24 regular season games for Philadelphia last season and was an afterthought with the team. He'd be nothing more than a situational shooter off the bench for the Lakers, and it's unlikely he'd cost more than the veteran's minimum to sign. There's no fantasy value to be found here unless a slew of injuries occurs no matter where he lands next.
