Willie Green started at SG and scored 15 points in Saturday's home victory, hitting 6-of-8 FGs with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and two steals.

Most impressively, Green did all that in 21 minutes, while Jamal Crawford pitched in 13 points in 24 minutes, and Matt Barnes added five points and six boards in 23 minutes. Chauncey Billups is day-to-day with a groin injury and he went through some non-contact drills on Thursday, so Green's starting gig may be short-lived.

He got the start with Chauncey Billups out with a groin injury, but just doesn't have the upside to be worth a look in most leagues.

Green has no fantasy value and he will be replaced in the starting lineup by one of the Clippers' veterans at some point.

Green said he's played through the minor injury for most of the season, and he expects to be fine moving forward after not even coming out of the game.

Willie Green shot 5-of-6 from the field for a season-high 15 points with one rebound, one steal and two 3-pointers in just 17 minutes against the Rockets on Tuesday.

He played 21 minutes on Monday and had just six points, so there is hardly enough evidence to suggest he'll be able to produce in the event Chris Paul sits on Thursday. Green can be left on the wire in the vast majority of leagues.

Willie Green will start at shooting guard with Chauncey Billups (foot) out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

He was only playing about 17 minutes per game before Billups returned, so he's only really an option in deeper leagues.

With Chauncey Billups aiming to return in December, it appears Willie Green will be the odd man out of the rotation.

Green has started every game at SG, but averages just six points, 1.4 rebounds, one assist and one three in 18.5 minutes. Green shouldn't be on your fantasy radar to begin with and whatever value he had will disappear once Billups returns.

The Hawks sent Willie Green to the Clippers via sign-and-trade on Monday, getting back Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis and a trade exception equal to Green's first-year salary.

Schortsanitis was drafted by the Clippers way back in 2003 and he just inked a three-year deal in Greece, so don't expect to see him in a Hawks jersey. The move gives L.A. some additional backcourt depth, important should Chris Paul or Chauncey Billups get hurt, while Hawks GM Danny Ferry continues to build a reserve of young talent, draft picks and salary cap flexibility.

The Wolves are reportedly interested in unrestricted FA Willie Green.

Minnesota seems to be talking to any FA who will hear them out, and right now there's no indication of whether Green is interested.

He's been doing this off and on all season, but trying to catch Green on the right night is kind of like trying to catch lightning in a bottle. It's not easy.

Willie Green went unconscious on Friday against the Knicks, hitting 8-of-9 shots (including two threes) for 20 points with four rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench.

Surely this will earn him some minutes going forward, but the eventual return of Jannero Pargo, Vladimir Radmanovic, and Tracy McGrady are all reasons for owners to make Green do this again.

Willie Green returned from a 10-game absence with a hamstring injury and had three points in 15 minutes on Wednesday.

He'll have some decent games in spurts, but is far too unreliable to use in fantasy leagues.

Willie Green - G - Clippers

Willie Green (hamstring) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Cavs.

Green has not played since February 29 due to the injury, but his return comes at a really good time for the Hawks. With Vladimir Radmanovic (back) and Marvin Williams (back) both out, Green will certainly see run off the bench.
