Udonis Haslem (illness) is traveling to Cleveland for Thursday's game.
It's still unclear if Haslem will give it a go after missing Tuesday. With Hassan Whiteside back in action, it's harder to trust Haslem in most leagues. Apr 1 - 3:50 PM

Date:

Udonis Haslem (flu) will not play Tuesday vs. the Spurs.

Chris Andersen (calf shoulder) and Hassan Whiteside (hand) will warmup with the intention of playing tonight, but both guys are going to be limited, so Erik Spoelstra is going to need to get creative with his rotations tonight with no truly healthy big man on the roster.
Mar 31 - 6:26 PM

Udonis Haslem (everything) said that "everything" is a lingering injury for him.

The Heat are holding 2.0 game lead over Boston to stay in the playoffs thanks to a big 40-point game from Wade. Haslem was also big time with 18 points and he's on the fantasy radar in deep leagues. It sounds like he should play on Tuesday against the Spurs.
Mar 30 - 2:35 PM

Udonis Haslem was huge for the Heat on Sunday, racking up 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting, 13 rebounds (seven offensive), two assists and one steal in a crucial win vs. the Pistons.

The Heat hold the No. 7 seed in the East but they have no room for error, as they're just 2.5 games ahead of the 10th place Hornets. Hassan Whiteside (hand) and Chris Andersen (calf) are both iffy to return on Tuesday so Haslem, who logged 35 minutes tonight, may be forced into heavy playing time yet again.
Mar 29 - 8:49 PM

Udonis Haslem said he played through several injuries during Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said Haslem was dinged up enough to sit out, but the veteran wanted to make sure the short-handed Heat weren't even more short-handed. "Yeah, I've got my tweaks man, but I was so disappointed in that loss last night and I was so disappointed in my performance that I didn't want to hide behind my injuries," Haslem said. "I wanted to come out and play tonight to give whatever I could give to spark this team." Even though Haslem posted 12 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals against the Celtics, he'll move back to a minor role once Hassan Whiteside and Chris Andersen are healthy and can be left on waivers.

Mar 26 - 9:29 AM

Udonis Haslem stepped up with 12 points, 12 rebounds and three steals in Wednesday's win over the Celtics.

Hassan Whiteside and Dwyane Wade were out, so Haslem finally posted his first double-double of the season. He's now scored in double figures in just four games this season and didn't even score a point in his previous game. Chris Andersen was also out on Wednesday, but when the Heat cavalry returns, Haslem should be an afterthought.
Mar 26 - 12:43 AM

Udonis Haslem started Tuesday's game but finished without any points or rebounds in 16 minutes of action.

Haslem is utterly devoid of fantasy value, and tonight he collected more personal fouls (five) than all his other stats combined (one assist, one block and one turnover). Hassan Whiteside's hand injury forced the Heat to go small in the second half tonight, with Haslem at center and Michael Beasley at power forward. That's not a recipe for success, especially with games looming vs. Al Horford and Andre Drummond later in the week, so hopefully Whiteside won't be out for long.
Mar 24 - 11:04 PM

Udonis Haslem will start against the Cavs on Monday.

He'll join Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng and Hassan Whiteside in the starting unit. Haslem can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Mar 16 - 7:19 PM

Udonis Haslem (wrist, knee) will play vs. the Nets on Wednesday.

Even with Hassan Whiteside suspended and Chris Andersen questionable with an ankle injury, Haslem isn't a viable option in most leagues. Unless you are in a deeper league and need a few boards, you should leave Haslem on the wire.
Mar 11 - 5:54 PM

Udonis Haslem (wrist, knee) is a game-time decision for Wednesday's contest vs. the Nets.

He said on Tuesday that he was planning on playing vs. the Nets, but now things are looking a little more bleak. Even as desperate at the Heat are for healthy bodies, Haslem still won't be a reliable option if he gives it a go tonight. Unless you are in a deep league and need boards, Haslem should be left on the wire.
Mar 11 - 11:01 AM

Udonis Haslem (wrist, knee) said that he plans to play Wednesday vs. Brooklyn.

Miami really needs Haslem to suit up for Wednesday's game with Hassan Whiteside (suspension) out, and Chris Andersen's (ankle) status uncertain. He could be forced into heavy minutes as Miami's only true big, although with averages of just 4.5 points and 3.8 rebounds as a starter, he's not going to be a great option in most leagues. Michael Beasley and Luol Deng will likely split time at the four-spot on Wednesday.
Mar 10 - 4:58 PM

Udonis Haslem will not play on Monday.

The Heat were kind enough to update their four game-time decisions 10 minutes before tonight's game. Haslem did say he was planning on playing, so that pretty much sums up this situation here. Haslem isn't worth owning in most leagues.
Mar 9 - 7:23 PM

Udonis Haslem (wrist, knee) is questionable to play vs. the Celtics on Monday.

Haslem is banged up, but has a history of playing through almost anything. Even if he does give it a go, the South Beach warrior is not going to register any fantasy value.
Mar 9 - 11:50 AM

Udonis Haslem will be in the starting lineup vs. the Kings on Saturday.

The Heat are incredibly thin tonight, so Haslem could be forced to play big minutes vs. the Kings. That being said, he is still only worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of rebounding.
Mar 7 - 7:19 PM

Udonis Haslem is a game-time decision to play against the Kings on Saturday.

Welp.
