Taylor Gabriel caught 4-of-9 targets for 37 yards in the Bears' Wild Card loss to the Eagles.
He also rushed for 20 yards on two attempts. Not good output yards-wise considering the number of targets. Gabriel set career highs in catches (71) and yards (725) in his first year with the Bears after signing a four-year, $26 million deal. But Gabriel only produced two touchdowns, and both of them came way back in a Week 4 barrage of the Bucs. Gabriel has electric speed and simply has to break big plays to score most of the time since his 5'8/165 frame doesn't play all that well close to the goal line. The Bears spread the ball around too much for Gabriel to be a reliable fantasy player. Jan 6 - 9:21 PM

Taylor Gabriel caught four passes for 61 yards Week 17 against the Vikings.

Gabriel led Chicago in receiving with Allen Robinson sidelined and Anthony Miller going down in the first quarter. It was one of his better games, but with Robinson and Miller both likely to be back for the playoffs, Gabriel will be just a boom-or-bust DFS play.

Taylor Gabriel caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in the Bears' Week 16 win over the 49ers.

Gabriel has been a total non-factor all season since back-to-back 100-yard games in Weeks 4 and 6. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6 and has zero games of more than 52 yards in that span.

Taylor Gabriel caught 3-of-3 targets for 33 yards in the Bears' Week 15 win over the Packers.

Gabriel has caught three passes each of his past three games, totaling 72 yards. The 49ers are an upside Week 16 matchup.

Taylor Gabriel caught 3-of-7 targets for 22 yards in Week 14 against the Rams.

It's another dud from Gabriel after getting held to 17 yards last week. Gabriel targets were behind only Allen Robinson, but he wasn't needed with Chicago playing with a lead throughout the night. Gabriel hasn’t scored since Week 4. He won't be a more than a boom/bust WR4 for Week 15.

Taylor Gabriel caught 3-of-7 targets for 17 yards in the Bears' Week 13 loss to the Giants.

Gabriel lost a critical fumble inside his own 15-yard line to set up an Aldrick Rosas field goal to put the Giants up by 10 with less than two minutes to play. The Bears were able to force overtime later, but Gabriel's day was one to forget. Gabriel will be a big-play WR4 next week against the Rams.

Taylor Gabriel caught 7-of-8 targets for 49 yards in the Bears' Week 12 win over the Lions.

It was the second week in a row Gabriel matched a season high with seven catches. Gabriel will lack WR3 upside for however long Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is sidelined. There does seem to be a decent chance that Trubisky is back for Week 13 against the Giants.

Taylor Gabriel caught 7-of-9 targets for 52 yards in Week 11 against the Vikings.

Gabriel was involved early with 40 total yards on the first drive. He didn't do much after that but still led Chicago with a team-high nine targets. Gabriel's usage has been all over the place this year. He's not a Week 12 fantasy option.

Taylor Gabriel came up empty on his three targets Sunday in the Bears’ Week 10 victory over Detroit.

He was a non-factor in Allen Robinson's return from injury. Gabriel had a productive stretch earlier this year but that seems to have come and gone. The 27-year-old deep threat won't be of much fantasy interest next week against the Vikings.

Taylor Gabriel (knee) will play Week 10 against the Lions.

Gabriel was limited to start the week but was upgraded to full participation on Thursday. The fifth-year deep threat delivered back-to-back 100-yard games earlier this year but has slowed down since then, contributing just 123 yards (41 per game) with no touchdowns over his last three contests. He's a middle-of-the-road WR4 for fantasy purposes.

Taylor Gabriel (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Gabriel was limited to start last week before playing through the discomfort. He should be fine for Week 10 against the Lions. Gabriel hasn't done much at all since amassing 214 yards and two scores on 12 grabs against the Bucs and Dolphins in Weeks 4 and 6 around the bye. He's a WR4.

Taylor Gabriel caught 3-of-5 targets for 45 yards in the Bears' Week 9 win over the Bills.

Gabriel got on the board for 30 yards and two catches early, but the Bears wound up not even needing their passing game with two defensive touchdowns and two Jordan Howard scores against a Bills team that scored nine points. Gabriel will continue to be a high-variance fringe WR3 in Week 10 against the Lions.

Taylor Gabriel (knee) was a full participant at practice on Thursday.

Gabriel was limited at practice on Wednesday, but he is fully on track to play in Buffalo on Sunday. With Allen Robinson missing two straight practices, Gabriel should be in line for a similar workload as last week.

Taylor Gabriel (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

This is a new injury for Gabriel. Any knee issue is a concern, but this doesn't look like it will keep him out. With Allen Robinson not a lock to return this week, Gabriel could see an uptick in targets.
Wed, Oct 31, 2018 05:28:00 PM

Taylor Gabriel played 44-of-66 snaps (67 percent) Week 8 against the Jets.

Gabriel did not get any kind of playing time boost despite Allen Robinson sitting out, although he did finish second on the team with six targets and 52 yards. He posted back-to-back 100-yard games in Weeks 4 and 6, but Gabriel has failed to make much of a fantasy dent in his other five outings. He is not a must-hold in shallower leagues.
