ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Taylor Gabriel has been the Browns' best receiver at OTAs.
"Very consistent," said Caplan of Gabriel. He posted a 38-633-1 receiving line as an undrafted rookie last season on 71 targets. A whopping 29.6 percent of his targets were 20-plus yards downfield, and Gabriel had an impressive 38.1 percent catch rate on such passes. Gabriel should have the upper hand on the Browns' deep-threat role behind plodders Dwayne Bowe and Brian Hartline. Jun 12 - 12:43 PM

Taylor Gabriel caught 3-of-7 targets for 66 yards Week 17 against the Ravens.

Gabriel had a brief concussion scare after being hung out to dry by Connor Shaw in the end zone late in the second quarter, but he returned to the game after halftime. An undrafted rookie out of Abilene Christian, Gabriel came out of nowhere to post a 36-621-1 line for the Browns in 2014, doing most of his damage with Josh Gordon sidelined early in the season. At only 5-foot-8, 167 pounds, Gabriel is too slight to be a volume receiver, but he could carve out a role as a situational deep threat for the Browns in 2015.

Taylor Gabriel was held without a catch in Cleveland's Week 13 loss to the Bills.

Gabriel's lone target resulted in a Brian Hoyer interception. Gabriel was triple covered on play action. Gabriel has been a bright spot for the Browns this season, but the return of Josh Gordon has scuttled his WR4 value.

Taylor Gabriel caught 1-of-2 targets for 13 yards in Cleveland's Week 12 win over the Falcons.

The targets were Gabriel's fewest since Week 3. His WR4 value is taking a serious hit with the return of Josh Gordon. He's not a must own in 12-14 team leagues.

Taylor Gabriel secured 5-of-13 targets for 92 yards in the Browns' Week 11 loss to the Texans.

Rookie GM Ray Farmer deserves a ton of credit for finding Gabriel out of Abilene Christian. He's given the Browns serious playmaking ability in the slot, complementing Andrew Hawkins. Both Hawkins and Gabriel will move down the totem pole when Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron return, however. Gordon will definitely play in Week 12 against Atlanta, while Cameron (concussion) is tentatively due back.

Starting in the absence of Andrew Hawkins (thigh/knee), Taylor Gabriel caught 3-of-5 targets for 31 yards in Cleveland's Week 10 win over the Bengals.

Gabriel also drew a defensive-holding penalty. Gabriel did his job, finding space in the middle of the field, but the Browns attempted only 23 passes compared to 52 rushes. Gabriel has been a nice find as an undrafted free agent, but his depth-chart placement and the Browns' offensive philosophy make him a tough sell as anything more than a WR5.

Browns WR Taylor Gabriel secured 5-of-6 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 9 win over Tampa Bay.

The impressive undrafted rookie got behind Lovie Smith's defense for a 34-yard touchdown bomb. Through eight games, diminutive Gabriel is on pace for 42 receptions, 808 yards, and a pair of scores. He's averaging 19.2 yards per catch. Although Gabriel's fantasy value is minimal or nonexistent, he's definitely given the Browns a lot of big plays in spots. He's been a great find by GM Ray Farmer out of Abilene Christian.

Browns WR Taylor Gabriel secured 2-of-3 targets for 60 yards in Sunday's Week 8 win over the Raiders.

A gadget-type, rotational player in Cleveland's offense, Gabriel's explosiveness sometimes gives the Browns a spark off the bench. Unfortunately in fantasy leagues, his role is inconsistent and he carries no value in 14- or even 16-team leagues.

Browns WR Taylor Gabriel secured 3-of-7 targets for 39 yards in Cleveland's Week 7 loss to Jacksonville.

A situational player in Cleveland's offense, Gabriel shares time with Travis Benjamin behind starters Miles Austin and Andrew Hawkins. Gabriel has great speed, but isn't consistently utilized on a run-first team, leaving him without re-draft fantasy value. He's also not a great Dynasty prospect at 5-foot-7, 170.

Browns rookie WR Taylor Gabriel caught 2-of-2 targets for 81 yards in Sunday's Week 3 loss to Baltimore.

He was stuffed for -2 yards on two rushing attempts, but ripped off receiving gains of 70 and 11 yards on beautifully designed play calls by OC Kyle Shanahan. A pint-sized 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds, UDFA gem Gabriel is an explosive gadget-type receiver. Cleveland has a bye week forthcoming.

Taylor Gabriel caught 2-of-6 targets for 13 yards in Cleveland's Week 1 loss to the Steelers.

Gabriel's six targets were second only to Andrew Hawkins (10), but his yardage was tied for sixth amongst the Browns' pass catchers. A 5-foot-7, 170-pound undrafted free agent, Gabriel isn't a fantasy consideration.

Browns GM Ray Farmer singled out UDFA WR Taylor Gabriel as the rookie he's been most impressed with this season.

Gabriel led the Browns in receiving this preseason and made the roster over Charles Johnson and Nate Burleson. He's currently the No. 3 receiver. At 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds, Gabriel is just a blip on the Dynasty league radar.
