Nelson Agholor was held to one catch in Week 11 against Dallas.
It was another quiet game for Agholor. He had a touchdown overturned, but wasn't needed in a game Carson Wentz threw for just 168 yards. Agholor gets a matchup with Chicago in Week 12. Nov 20 - 12:07 AM

Nelson Agholor caught 2-of-4 targets for 36 yards in the Eagles' Week 9 win over the Broncos.

A big game was never in the cards for Agholor in the slot against Chris Harris. Agholor has played well in his breakout third NFL season, but he has played a low-volume role in the Eagles' offense. When Philly comes out of its Week 10 bye, Agholor will remain a boom-bust WR3/flex option week to week.
Nov 5 - 5:21 PM

Nelson Agholor caught all three of his targets for 26 yards in the Eagles' Week 8 win over the 49ers.

His long gain went for 17 yards. Carson Wentz completed just 18 passes Sunday and threw for only 211 yards in a game the Eagles won with ease. Agholor will do battle with Broncos slot CB Chris Harris next week at home. A strong WR3/4 play this season, Agholor will be someone to sit Week 9.
Oct 29 - 5:16 PM

Nelson Agholor caught 4-of-5 targets for 45 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles' Week 7 win over the Redskins.

Agholor has forced himself into the WR3 conversation and should obviously be owned in all formats. He's brimming with confidence in his third season and is making all the catches, snagging a laser strike from Carson Wentz over the middle in the fourth quarter for his fifth touchdown on the young season. He's managed at least 58 yards and/or one touchdown in 6-of-7 games. Agholor gets a tasty matchup against a leaky 49ers secondary at home in Philly in Week 8.
Oct 24 - 12:24 AM

Nelson Agholor caught 4-of-7 targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 6 win over the Panthers.

Agholor's touchdown, a 24-yarder in the fourth quarter, was his fourth of the season. He caught a quick slant then turned on the YAC afterburners. Agholor has been extremely impressive after the catch in his third NFL campaign. It's the main reason his career has suddenly revived. He is beginning to force himself onto the WR3 radar in standard leagues.
Oct 13 - 12:36 AM

Nelson Agholor pulled in four catches for 93 yards and a touchdown on five targets Sunday in the Eagles’ Week 5 win over the Cardinals.

That’s a new career-high in receiving yards for Agholor, who has now scored in three-of-five games to start the year. Most of Agholor’s production Sunday came on a 72-yard touchdown strike from Carson Wentz midway through the third quarter. Agholor found an opening in the Cardinals’ secondary, then juked safety Budda Baker out of his shoes for the score. After disappointing his first two years in the league, Agholor finally looks like the player the Eagles thought they were getting when they drafted him 20th overall in 2015. Agholor will square off against the Panthers in Week 6.
Oct 8 - 6:04 PM

Nelson Agholor caught 3-of-4 targets for 58 yards in the Eagles' Week 4 win over the Chargers.

Most of Agholor's yardage came on a 36-yard sideline grab where he used his quicks and some fancy footwork to stay in bounds. Today was the first time Agholor surpassed 20 yards since Week 1. He's carved out a role in the Eagles' offense, but it seems unlikely to translate to predictable fantasy value.
Oct 1 - 8:21 PM

Nelson Agholor caught 2-of-3 targets for 20 yards in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Giants.

Agholor has been awfully quiet since his big opener. Low in the Eagles' pecking order for targets, Agholor lacks value in 12- and 14-team fantasy leagues.
Sep 24 - 5:36 PM

Nelson Agholor caught a nine-yard touchdown in Week 2 against the Chiefs.

He was targeted just three times. Agholor's touchdown didn't come until the Eagles' second-to-last play. He's scored in back-to-back games, but is part of a wide open offense with Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz and Torrey Smith. Agholor has a shy-away matchup with the Giants in Week 3.
Sep 17 - 5:34 PM

Nelson Agholor caught 6-of-8 targets for 86 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Redskins.

Agholor's eight targets tied for the team lead, along with Zach Ertz and Darren Sproles. Agholor and Torrey Smith rotated in two-wide sets opposite Alshon Jeffery, and Agholor was the slot man in three-wide packages. With Jeffery tangling with Josh Norman a lot of the day, Agholor and Ertz were doing work over the middle. Agholor's touchdown was a sick play by Carson Wentz to keep the play alive for what felt like 10 seconds, and Agholor was wide open down the middle for the 58-yard score. If he's catching the ball and has confidence, Agholor has big talent. He could have some WR3 usage if he plays over Smith. The Eagles will head to Kansas City in Week 2.
Sep 10 - 4:31 PM

Nelson Agholor was held catch-less in the Eagles' third preseason game.

He wasn't targeted in 15 snaps. Agholor will open the season as the Eagles' primary slot receiver, but he's not guaranteed to maintain that job with Trey Burton and Darren Sproles also capable of contributing as ancillary sub-package weapons. Agholor is safe to ignore outside of Dynasty leagues.
Aug 24 - 10:09 PM

Eagles OC Frank Reich said the slot receiver position will be a "game-plan thing."

"Each and every week, when we put a play up, it’s what body type do we want in there for this play," Reich said. "So it will be by committee, by play, each and every week." Following the trade of Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor is the favorite for the role, but it sounds like he will have to share time with fourth-rounder Mack Hollins and TE Trey Burton among others. Even with Matthews gone, Agholor is nothing more than a flier in fantasy drafts.
Aug 15 - 9:53 AM

Jordan Matthews' trade to Buffalo should open up slot duties for Nelson Agholor.

With Matthews headed to the Bills, the Eagles are now missing 117 targets from last year. That's good news for Agholor, who should slide in as Philadelphia's primary slot receiver. The former first-round pick has been a bust to this point in his career, but Agholor has shown well in camp and could finally be headed for a breakout season. Matthews' departure will also open up more targets for tight end Zach Ertz, who is now a no-brainer TE1 in all formats.
Aug 11 - 1:24 PM

Nelson Agholor rushed once for -1 yard in the Eagles' preseason opener.

He also had a two-point conversion bounce off his hands, although it would have been a difficult catch. On the bright side, Agholor got the start with Alshon Jeffery sitting out, showing he is safely in the fold at receiver. Performances like Thursday's will not help him jump Jordan Matthews or Torrey Smith, however.
Aug 10 - 9:18 PM

Speaking Monday, Eagles OC Frank Reich left the door open for Jordan Matthews to lose snaps to Nelson Agholor.

Reich said the team's plan at slot receiver is "a little bit different than last year." "Every spot's up for competition," Reich said. "... Nelson's had a real strong spring and camp, so the way we do it is kind of by play. Sometimes we'll switch guys up." Reich added that Agholor has "gotten over the hump" and is "making a ton of plays out there." Following Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith's signings, Matthews' fantasy appeal is dwindling with more competition for targets and snaps.
