Contract-year WR Stefon Diggs said he isn't worried about an extension and will "let that stuff handle itself."
Diggs is entering the fourth and final year of his rookie deal which is set to pay him $1.907 million this season. He certainly has a case for a new contract, but unlike many others in his situation around the league, Diggs is attending minicamp and voluntary workouts while his agents handle the money matters. Diggs is still just 24 and is one of the rising stars at the position. Jun 13 - 10:10 AM

According to Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Vikings are hoping to sign Stefon Diggs to a long-term contract.

The Vikings are also hoping to lock up LB Anthony Barr and DE Danielle Hunter, who are both entering contract years. Finances are tight in Minnesota following the team's offseason spending spree but it's clear the Vikings will do everything they can to keep Diggs, who tied for the team lead with eight touchdowns last season. The 24-year-old is due an extremely reasonable $705,000 salary in 2018, which happens to be the final year of his rookie contract.

Stefon Diggs caught 8-of-12 targets for 70 yards in the Vikings' NFC title game loss to the Eagles.

Diggs took a knee to the back on his first catch and didn’t seem right the rest of the way, appearing stiff on his routes and checking out of the game a few times. It was an anticlimactic ending to Diggs’ season after his heroic 61-yard game-winning touchdown in the Divisional Round. Diggs capped his third NFL campaign with a 64/849/13.3/8 receiving line, continuing to show game-breaking ability even as Adam Thielen emerged as the Vikings’ higher-volume wideout. Still only 24 years old, Diggs will again be an early- to middle-round fantasy pick in 2018, which is Diggs’ contract year.
Jan 21 - 10:12 PM

Stefon Diggs caught six-of-10 targets for 137 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Vikings’ Divisional Round win over the Saints.

Diggs was relatively anonymous in the first half (two catches for 28 yards), though he did draw a pair of pass interference calls. In a thrilling sequence of events, New Orleans somehow erased a 17-point deficit to take back the lead with under 30 seconds remaining. But Diggs showed up when it counted, winning the game with a 61-yard touchdown on the final play of regulation. The former Maryland Terrapin stayed in bounds after skying over Marcus Williams for the catch and saw nothing but green grass in front of him as the clock ticked down to zero. It was an incredible finish to one of the greatest postseason games of all-time. Diggs will take a four-game touchdown streak into next Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the top-seeded Eagles.
Jan 14 - 8:19 PM

Stefon Diggs caught 6-of-6 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' Week 17 win over the Bears.

The 65 yards were Diggs' most since Thanksgiving. The Vikings' No. 2 receiver closes the book on the regular campaign 849 yards, 293 of which came in the season's first three weeks.

Stefon Diggs caught 5-of-8 targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' Week 16 win over the Packers.

Diggs beat Packers fill-in CB Josh Hawkins for a first-quarter touchdown, and it wound up as the only touchdown scored in the game. The Vikings settled for three field goals due to red-zone stalls, and the Packers never put up a fight as Brett Hundley managed 130 yards and two picks on a whopping 40 attempts. Minnesota will wrap up its regular season in Week 17 versus Chicago.

Stefon Diggs caught 5-of-6 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' Week 15 win over the Bengals.

Diggs built off last week, turning in another solid performance. His touchdown came from 20 yards out on a pass squeezed in over the middle by Case Keenum. Diggs consistently got open against the Bengals struggling secondary. He is a WR3 in Week 16 against the Packers.

Stefon Diggs caught 6-of-10 targets for 64 yards in the Vikings' Week 14 loss to the Panthers.

This is about as good of a game Diggs has had since his early-season injury. He's fallen deep behind Adam Thielen as the go-to guy in the Minnesota offense. Diggs also dropped a pass on Sunday that ended up popping into the air and getting picked off in Carolina territory. Diggs will be a WR3 next week vs. Cincinnati.

Stefon Diggs hauled in 2-of-5 targets for 32 yards in the Vikings' Week 13 win over the Falcons.

Diggs opened the game with a 13-yard catch, but that was all he could muster before the half. He added a 19-yard grab after the break, but this was a massive letdown for a player who was in a good spot against a secondary without two of its top three corners. Diggs has been up and down since returning from injury, and he has a tough matchup next week in Carolina. He will be a low-end WR2 in that spot.

Stefon Diggs caught 5-of-7 targets for 66 yards in the Vikings' Week 12 win over the Lions, adding a nine-yard rush.

The catches were Diggs' most since Week 4. He should have had a sixth, but was blatantly interfered with down the field. Somehow, the refs didn't throw a flag. Diggs is an electrifying playmaker, but he let Adam Thielen take over the Vikings' receiver corps while he battled a groin injury. Diggs hasn't had his last big week of 2017, but they will be hard to predict, rendering him a boom/bust WR3.

Stefon Diggs caught 4-of-6 targets for 32 yards in the Vikings' Week 11 win over the Rams.

Diggs took a back seat to Adam Thielen, who exploded for a 6-123-1 line that included a YAC-filled 65-yard touchdown that sealed the win in the second half. Diggs had to run most of his routes at No. 1 CB Trumaine Johnson, while Thielen got UDFA rookie Dominique Whitfield in a true mismatch. Diggs will look to bounce back on Thanksgiving Day against the Lions this Thursday.

Stefon Diggs caught 4-of-5 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 10 win over Washington.

Diggs got off to a hot start, catching two passes for 59 yards on the opening drive for Minnesota. His second catch was a 51-yard pass in which he beat Josh Norman down the sideline and was tackled at the 2-yard line, setting up the Vikings first offensive score of the day. He then had a 3-yard touchdown in the early 2nd Quarter to put Minnesota up 14-10. Diggs only added one catch for 16 yards in the second half, but still posted a good line and showed that he was healthy moving forward. Diggs will be a high-end wide receiver option next week when Minnesota hosts the Rams.

Stefon Diggs (tooth) wasn't listed on the Vikings' final injury report for Week 10 against the Redskins.

Diggs had a root canal on Thursday but should play his usual snaps Sunday at Washington. He should see a fair amount of Josh Norman, which clouds his outlook for Week 10. Think of him as a volatile WR2.

Stefon Diggs was limited in Thursday's practice with a tooth injury.

There's a first time for everything. Josh Norman and Bashaud Breeland are Diggs' primary Week 10 concern, not the dentist.

Stefon Diggs hauled in 4-of-6 targets for 27 yards in the Vikings' Week 8 win over the Browns in London.

Diggs was relatively quiet in his first game back from a groin injury. He did see four targets in the first quarter, but that was basically it until Diggs drew a defensive pass interference deep down the field in the fourth to help set up a game-sealing touchdown. He also almost came down with two deep targets down the sideline late in the game, but both fell just incomplete. Despite the down game, Diggs looked healthy and will get a week off to rest his groin injury even further. He will be an upside WR2 when the Vikings return from the bye in Week 10.
