Tyler Lockett hauled in 6-of-9 targets for 64 yards in the Seahawks' Week 2 win over the 49ers.
Lockett got loose for a 22-yard gain on the first drive of the game and racked up 59 yards in the first half. He was much quieter after the break, but he is clearly back to full health and ready to push for the No. 2 job. Unfortunately, that role does not look like it has much fantasy value right now with the passing game struggling, especially with Paul Richardson certain to stay involved. Sep 17 - 8:04 PM

Coach Pete Carroll said Tyler Lockett will get more snaps at receiver in Week 2 against the 49ers.

Lockett played just 26-of-49 snaps and caught 1-of-3 targets for a meager eight yards in the opener against the Packers. Meanwhile, Paul Richardson was in on 41 snaps as the No. 2 receiver. Lockett has big upside, but he and Richardson are just fighting for scraps behind Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham in an offense that prefers to run the ball. Lockett is just a WR5/6 stash.
Sep 11 - 6:26 PM

Tyler Lockett caught 1-of-3 targets for eight yards in the Seahawks' Week 1 loss to the Packers.

Lockett was eased in on offense, drawing half as many looks as No. 2 Paul Richardson. He did offer up a few nice returns on special teams. Lockett's upside is well established, but it could be a while before he reaches it as he makes his way back from his devastating leg injury.
Sep 10 - 8:35 PM

Tyler Lockett (leg) is questionable for Week 1 against the Packers.

He's in no danger of missing Week 1 after putting in a full week of practice. Lockett will open 2017 as Seattle's No. 3 receiver behind Doug Baldwin and Paul Richardson.
Sep 8 - 4:43 PM

Tyler Lockett (leg) is practicing in full for Week 1 against the Packers.

Lockett missed just a week of training camp practice, but was held out of the preseason. He remains on track to be cleared for Week 1. Lockett's path to targets improved with the Jermaine Kearse trade, but his early-season snaps are a concern.
Sep 6 - 7:44 PM

Tyler Lockett (leg) said he is ready to play against the Packers on Sunday and coach Pete Carroll said Lockett will be the return man.

He had treatment last week, but Lockett did not sound concerned on Tuesday. "Sometimes you don’t need a preseason to get ready," Lockett said. The Seahawks parted ways with inconsistent Jermaine Kearse, so there should be more opportunities behind Doug Baldwin for the explosive 2015 third-round pick. Lockett offers some upside on most fantasy benches and his competition for snaps with Paul Richardson will be something to watch early in the season.
Sep 5 - 7:34 PM

Coach Pete Carroll said he's not concerned with Tyler Lockett's (leg) Week 1 status.

Lockett was sent for treatment away from the team this week. The Seahawks have moved him slowly at training camp, but he's going to be ready for the start of the season. Lockett's lack of a preseason is a concern for his early-year snaps.

Aug 30 - 7:34 PM

Tyler Lockett did not play in the Seahawks' third preseason game Friday night.

Lockett reportedly went through a full warm-up before the game, so it sounds like the Seahawks are just being cautious. More than 20 days removed from the PUP, Lockett should be ready for Week 1, but he could be limited early. Still, he is a worthwhile flier in the 14th round.
Aug 25 - 8:57 PM

Tyler Lockett is expected to be held out of Friday's preseason game.

Lockett was activated from the PUP list 20 days ago, but has yet to suit up this preseason. It's now clear he will miss the entire exhibition slate. Lockett offers tantalizing upside as a late-round huge-play threat, but is returning from a devastating injury. The downside is real.
Aug 24 - 4:01 PM

Seahawks activated WR Tyler Lockett (leg) from the PUP list.

Lockett sat out just under a week of training camp. He was never expected to miss much time, but this confirms he's on schedule. Lockett, Paul Richardson, and Jermaine Kearse are competing for the No. 2 role behind Doug Baldwin.
Aug 4 - 5:04 PM

Tyler Lockett (leg) was seen fielding punts at Friday's practice.

He was placed on the PUP list to begin camp but it looks like he's already back. Lockett has yet to become a true fantasy asset despite his tantalizing skill set, but could have some appeal as a late-round dart throw.
Aug 4 - 1:20 PM

Tyler Lockett (leg, PUP) could be activated "in a few days."

The Seahawks have been promising a short stay for Lockett, who got in some work in OTAs and minicamp. Lockett should see preseason action.
Aug 1 - 4:16 PM

Seahawks placed WR/KR Tyler Lockett on the active/PUP list.

Lockett is eligible to come off the list at any time in camp, and coach Pete Carroll promised he "won't be there long." Lockett broke his fibula and tibia late last season, but he has made good progress. It remains to be seen just how much the Seahawks put on Lockett's offensive plate this season.
Jul 30 - 6:00 PM

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll believes Tyler Lockett (leg) could be "full speed" for training camp.

Speaking Tuesday at minicamp, Carroll said Lockett had made a "big jump" in the past week. Lockett's preseason status is still questionable, but it's looking likely he'll be ready to rock for Week 1.
Jun 13 - 7:53 PM

Tyler Lockett (leg) was cleared for individual drills at OTAs.

It’s a good sign for his training camp status. Lockett is ahead of schedule, but there's still some hurdles to clear. It's possible he'll be held out of the preseason. The Seahawks expect to have Lockett for Week 1.
