Former NFL WR Donte' Stallworth is serving as a coaching intern at Ravens training camp.
This appears to be it for Stallworth, who failed to make the Redskins last fall and is now 33 years old. Infamously dubbed "The Human Hamstring Pull" for his litany of hammy injuries, Stallworth finished his ten-year career with a 15.1 YPR average on 321 receptions and 35 touchdowns. His best season (70/945/7) came in 2005 with Jim Haslett's Saints, when Stallworth finished as the No. 21 fantasy wideout. Sean Payton traded him away the following offseason. Redskins released WR Donte' Stallworth.

The veteran deep threat missed a bunch of August with an early-camp hamstring issue, and we noticed the writing on the wall when Stallworth was playing with third-teamers in Washington's third preseason game. Injuries limited Stallworth to only one game with the Patriots last season. Stallworth can still turn on the jets, but does little else. Going on 33, he has just 42 catches over the past five seasons. He's very near the end of the line.

Redskins WR Donte' Stallworth has been slowed by a hamstring issue for most of camp.

Stallworth insists the injury is minor, but the 32-year-old wideout has had a hard time staying healthy throughout his NFL career. Stallworth needs to get 100 percent in a hurry to have a realistic shot at a roster spot.

Redskins signed WR Donte' Stallworth, formerly of the Patriots.

Coach Mike Shanahan had already revealed the team's plan to sign the wide receiver, so this comes as no surprise. Stallworth spent most of 2012 on the street before signing with the Patriots. He played in one game, recording a 63-yard touchdown, before injuring his ankle and landing on injured reserve. He'll compete for a situational role with the Redskins.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan expects to sign free agent Donte' Stallworth following this week's minicamp.

Shanny expects to sign the deep threat following his three-day tryout, barring an "an unexpected drop in play." Going on 33, Stallworth played for the Redskins in 2011, but spent most of 2012 on the street/injured reserve. He'd be far from guaranteed a spot on the 53-man roster.

NFL.com's Albert Breer reports free agent Donte' Stallworth will try out for the Redskins at next week's minicamp.

Stallworth suffered severe burns in a March hot-air balloon accident, but he was cleared to resume football activities three weeks ago. The 32-year-old caught 22 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games for the Redskins in 2011. He played in one game for the Patriots last season.

Free agent WR Donte' Stallworth has been given medical clearance to resume his football career after suffering severe burns in a March hot-air balloon accident.

Stallworth has been through a harrowing ordeal, but was always expected to make a full recovery. Going on 33, Stallworth has just 25 catches over the past three seasons. He'll search for work as a spare part/camp body.

Free agent WR Donte' Stallworth was in a hot-air balloon accident on Saturday morning and is in a Miami area hospital.

The balloon reportedly hit a set of power lines, and Stallworth is in stable condition after suffering burns. His girlfriend was also in the balloon at the time of the accident. It's unclear if she was injured. ESPN's Adam Schefter says Stallworth should make a full recovery and be able to resume his career.

The Patriots have reportedly shown interest in free agent Donte' Stallworth.

Any deal is expected to be "on the backburner," but the Pats won't have much competition. Stallworth is a 32-year-old straight-line deep threat with 24 catches over the past three seasons. He should be available for the NFL minimum.

Patriots placed WR Donte' Stallworth (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.

According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, the injury is a high-ankle sprain. The deep threat hauled in a 63-yard touchdown in his first game back in New England Monday night. With Stallworth and Julian Edelman (foot) both out for the season, the Pats may have Deion Branch on speed dial. Stallworth, 32, is a free agent in 2013.

Donte' Stallworth caught one pass for a 63-yard touchdown in Monday night's Week 14 win over Houston.

Stallworth was targeted just twice on the night, but he couldn't quite find the ball in the air on the other pass. The veteran was just signed this past week and immediately stepped in as New England's No. 3 receiver with Julian Edelman out. However, he won't have much, if any, fantasy value moving forward. Leave Stallworth on the waiver wire.

Patriots re-signed WR Donte' Stallworth.

Stallworth was released in late August prior to cut-down days. Since then, he has worked out for the Dolphins, Bills, and most recently the Patriots last week. He'll fill Deion Branch's role and won't be a fantasy option as the fourth or fifth option in the passing attack. OG Mitch Petrus was waived in a corresponding move.

Patriots worked out free agent WR Donte' Stallworth.

Stallworth was not offered a contract. He does have experience in Josh McDaniels' offense from the 2007 season, so the Pats will have him on speed dial if another injury strikes at wide receiver.

The Bills worked out free agent WR Donte' Stallworth Monday.

The receiver-needy Bills also tried out Danario Alexander Monday. Stallworth visited the Dolphins late last month, but has otherwise drawn lukewarm interest since his release from the Patriots. Alexander would be a higher-upside flier for the Bills, though Stallworth presents a far steadier option.

The Dolphins are working out free agent WR Donte' Stallworth Thursday.

Stallworth is among a "number" of receivers trying out for the Dolphins. He's 31, but he'd at least give the Dolphins some straight-line speed. Their starting receivers right now are Legedu Naanee and Davone Bess.
