A 19-year-old woman has accused Kareem Hunt of "shoving and pushing" her in downtown Cleveland over the weekend.
The alleged incident occurred at 3:45 AM on Saturday morning. No charges have been filed yet. Another woman who was with Hunt and his friends at the time claims 19-year-old Abigail Ottinger assaulted her, instigating the melee. One police report lists Hunt as a suspect, and another police report lists Ottinger as the suspect, meaning there is a "cross complaint." The group was reportedly together on a party bus in downtown Cleveland. Hunt's friend told police they kicked girls out of his apartment when they learned they were only 19. Hunt's friend also said Ottinger called them "racial slurs" when told to leave. Feb 12 - 5:15 PM

Kareem Hunt rushed 11 times for 42 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs' Wild Card loss to the Titans on Saturday.

He "added" three catches for five yards. Hunt got the scoring started with a one-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter and looked to be on his way to a big afternoon. But the regular season's rushing leader managed just 17 yards after halftime with K.C. scoring zero points after the break. Hunt finished the season on a high note with six touchdowns over his final five games and should remain a bell cow next season with either Alex Smith or Patrick Mahomes at quarterback. Hunt should be a first-round fantasy pick in next summer's drafts.

Kareem Hunt rushed once for 35 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 17 game against the Broncos.

Hunt's lone carry of the game not only capped off the Chiefs' opening drive with a score, it won him the 2017 rushing title with 1,327 yards. Hunt was off to the races after taking a simple inside handoff. He entered the day 13 yards behind Todd Gurley, who did not play for the Rams. Hunt heads into the postseason with five touchdowns over his past four games.

Kareem Hunt rushed 29 times for 91 yards and a touchdown and caught 4-of-4 targets for 15 yards in the Chiefs' Week 16 win over the Dolphins.

Hunt now has 28, 31, and 33 touches in his last three games, all wins for Kansas City. Hunt’s Week 16 game was largely workmanlike, although he did rip a 24-yard run to set up his goal-line score. Despite a slow midseason stretch, Hunt remains squarely in the mix for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He’ll look to pad his stats in a Week 17 trip to Denver.

Kareem Hunt rushed 24 times for 155 yards and a touchdown and caught 7-of-9 targets for 51 yards and an additional score in the Chiefs' Week 15 win over the Chargers.

In the third quarter, Hunt passed Joe Delaney for the Chiefs’ all-time rookie rushing record; Delaney ran for 1,121 yards in 1981. (Hunt now has 1,201.) On the same drive, Hunt caught a three-yard touchdown from Alex Smith to give Kansas City a 17-13 lead. Hunt got robbed of a second would-be receiving score when officials ruled the ball grazed the grass before Hunt brought it into his body. Running for 40 yards in the first two quarters and 115 after the break, Hunt’s dominant second half and five-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter iced the Chiefs’ much-needed win. With touch totals of 28 and 31 in the last two weeks, Hunt will remain an elite RB1 play when Kansas City hosts Miami’s burnable run defense in Week 16.

Kareem Hunt rushed 25 times for 116 yards and a touchdown and caught 3-of-3 targets for 22 yards in the Chiefs' Week 14 win over the Raiders.

It was easy to have trepidation entering this game about Hunt after he managed 13 touches or fewer in three of the past four weeks. Instead, the Chiefs committed to feeding him voluminously with eight first-quarter carries. Charcandrick West did vulture three touches including a 13-yard touchdown run, but Hunt was terrific on increased usage, which he deserves going forward. The Chiefs have a soft stretch-run schedule, so Hunt should have opportunities to finish strong. He draws the Chargers and Dolphins at Arrowhead in each of the next two weeks.

Kareem Hunt rushed nine times for 40 yards while catching three-of-five targets for 23 yards Sunday in the Chiefs’ Week 13 loss to the Jets.

It was another quiet outing for Hunt, who has now gone nine straight games without scoring a touchdown. Hunt never had much of a chance in this one as the Jets completely dominated in time of possession. The rookie is now just 70 yards shy of 1,000 for the year. It’s been a frustrating stretch for Hunt, though he gets a prime bounce-back matchup next week versus the Raiders. Hunt totaled 117 yards from scrimmage against them in Week 7.

Kareem Hunt had 11 carries for 17 yards in Week 12 against Buffalo.

This was easily Hunt's worst game. Buffalo's secondary shut down Alex Smith, and Hunt couldn't find any running room against stacked fronts. With Kansas City forced to go pass heavy, Hunt was faded for Charcandrick West late in the second half. Hunt has hit a rookie wall with under 40 yards in two of his last three games. He'll have another tough matchup with the Jets in Week 13.

Kareem Hunt rushed 18 times for 73 yards in the Chiefs' Week 11 loss to the Giants, adding three receptions for four additional yards.

Hunt continues to disappoint fantasy owners after starting the season red-hot. He received an inexcusable four carries in the first half, something Coach Andy Reid addressed by starting off the second half with five carries. Hunt ran hard throughout the game, hammering the holes available to him. Despite a lackluster fantasy performance, his usage increased from Week 9's 13 total touches to 21 in Week 11. Hunt should get back on track in Week 11 against the Bills.

Kareem Hunt played just 31-of-57 snaps (54 percent) Week 9 against the Cowboys.

It was his lowest snap share of the season and first time playing less than 71 percent of the snaps since Week 4. Hunt was also limited to just nine carries for the second time in four games. Perhaps the Chiefs are limiting the rookie's workload to prevent him from hitting the wall, but the offense is simply better when he is getting work. The coaching staff needs to figure out his workload over the bye.

Kareem Hunt rushed nine times for 37 yards in the Chiefs' Week 9 loss to the Cowboys, adding four receptions for 24 additional yards.

Just three of Hunt's nine totes came after halftime on an afternoon where the time of possession battle was nearly 50-50. It's the second time in four games the sensational rookie has been held under 10 carries by coach Andy Reid. Hunt was not lighting things up today — his six first half totes generated just eight yards — but he simply has to get the ball more. If you want to give Reid the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he doesn't want to overwork the rookie in what will be the longest and most grueling season of his football life to date. Reid has the Chiefs' Week 10 bye to think about it before they travel to New Jersey to take on the gone fishin' Giants in Week 11.

Kareem Hunt rushed 22 times for 46 yards in the Chiefs' Week 8 win over the Broncos on Monday night.

He caught 3-of-5 targets for 22 yards in the pass game. It was the first time in eight games that Hunt has been held under 100 total yards. The Broncos were swallowing him up almost immediately and not letting the rookie beat them. Instead, Travis Kelce did all the damage with a 7-133-1 and was all the offense the Chiefs needed to win in easy fashion. Hunt should get back on track in a Wee 9 road date with the Cowboys where he'll again be a locked-in RB1.
Mon, Oct 30, 2017 11:51:00 PM

Kareem Hunt rushed 18 times for 87 yards in the Chiefs' Week 7 loss to the Raiders, adding four receptions for 30 additional yards.

Hunt got the ball five times on the Chiefs' opening drive, including the first four plays, but his usage was frustratingly scattershot thereafter. Hunt has now eclipsed 100 yards from scrimmage in each of his first seven NFL games, but the Chiefs still go bafflingly-long stretches without getting him the ball. Either way, the numbers have been there every week, and Hunt has left no doubt he's an elite player both in real life and fantasy. Matchups do not matter for the third-round rookie.

Kareem Hunt rushed nine times for 21 yards and hauled in 5-of-6 targets for 89 yards in the Chiefs' Week 6 loss to the Steelers.

Even in what could be the Chiefs' worst offensive performance of the year, Hunt managed to salvage his fantasy day with a couple big gains in the passing game. He also ran better than his 2.3 YPC would suggest, breaking tackles and creating yards even on short runs. He should have more success on the ground against the Raiders on Thursday night, and he remains a locked-in RB1.
Sun, Oct 15, 2017 07:59:00 PM

Kareem Hunt rushed 29 times for 107 yards and caught three passes for nine yards in Week 5 against Houston.

Hunt was stopped at or near the line of scrimmage for most of the first half. He rebounded after halftime, though he played worse than his stats. Hunt was held out of the end-zone, with Charcandrick West vulturing two red-zone touchdowns. He's had at least 100 total yards every week and has 20-plus touches in 3-of-5 games. Hunt gets the Steelers in Week 6.
