Marlon Mack rushed nine times for 46 yards in the Colts' Divisional Round loss to the Chiefs before exiting with a hip injury.
Mack's injury isn't known to be serious, and Saturday's game was out of hand when he exited. He was targeted just once in the passing game, but Andrew Luck's throw was not catch-able. It became clear early that Mack wouldn't turn in a productive box-score effort due to negative game script; the Chiefs were in control throughout. Mack's night was entirely unproductive before 20- and 10-yard runs in what amounted to fourth-quarter garbage time. Nevertheless, Mack should easily be healthy by OTAs and projects to safely return as the Colts' 2019 lead runner after a breakout sophomore season. Jan 12 - 7:38 PM

Marlon Mack rushed 24 times for 148 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Wild Card win over the Texans, adding two receptions for six additional yards.

This was a steamrolling, with Mack gobbling up yardage as the Colts dominated both time of possession (when it was close) and the game. Tasked with killing the clock late, Mack RIP'd the Texans in extremely quick fashion. Revived since Ryan Kelly returned to the pivot, Mack will offer oodles of DFS upside in the Divisional Round in Kansas City.
Jan 5 - 7:59 PM

Marlon Mack rushed 25 times for 119 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Week 17 win over the Titans.

This was a rebound for Mack coming off last week’s 38 total yards. Mack wore down the Titans all night and iced the game on a eight-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Despite missing four of the first five games to injuries, Mack had a breakout 2018, rushing for 908 yards (4.7 YPC) and nine TDs. Mack has a tough matchup with Houston’s front-seven in the Wild Card Round.

Marlon Mack contributed 34 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries while also snatching one catch for four yards on three targets Sunday in the Colts’ Week 16 win over New York.

With Indy playing from behind most of the afternoon, the Colts rarely looked to run, recording just 16 carries against 47 passing attempts. Mack took a backseat for much of the afternoon but emerged for a much-needed end-zone cameo in the third quarter, scoring from three yards out to cut the deficit to three. That touchdown was Mack's ninth of the year and his fourth in the last three weeks. The Colts will need a big effort from Mack next week at Tennessee in a game with playoff implications.

Marlon Mack rushed 27 times for 139 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts' 23-0, Week 15 win over the Cowboys.

He added a 10-yard catch on one target. With C Ryan Kelly back in the lineup after missing multiple games, the big center was clearing running lanes up the middle all afternoon, and Mack scored both of his touchdowns on interior runs. The first was a one-yard plunge on the opening drive, and the second a six-yard burst to start the third quarter. The only blemish was a lost fumble at his own 35-yard line, but the defense later picked Dak Prescott to preserve the shutout. Mack will be a borderline RB1 next week at home against the lowly Giants.

Marlon Mack went for 33 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries while failing to reel in his lone target Sunday in Indy’s Week 14 win over the Texans.

Mack was bottled up for the most part on Sunday, though he did find daylight on a four-yard touchdown dash with 6:33 remaining in the second quarter. That came one play after T.Y. Hilton delivered a 60-yard catch to set up first-and-goal at the four-yard-line. Mack's production has petered off recently as the second-year USF alum has managed just 60 yards on 22 carries over his last two games (2.72 yards per carry). He'll be in a tough spot next week at home against a stingy Dallas defense.

Marlon Mack rushed eight times for 27 yards and caught his lone target for six yards in the Colts' Week 13 loss to the Jaguars.

He got out-touched by Nyheim Hines 13 to 9 in a game where the Colts played from behind and couldn't run efficiently, resorting to short passes to move the chains. In that approach, versatile Hines is a superior option to Mack, who primarily focuses on early-down rushing. Mack has settled in as a low-end RB2 entering the Colts' Week 14 date with a stout Texans run defense.

Marlon Mack (concussion) is active for Week 13 against the Jaguars.

Mack suffered a concussion last week but made it through the protocol quickly, returning to full practice on Thursday. It's not an ideal matchup for the second-year back, though Mack is still usable as a volume-based RB2 in most formats. TE Mo Alie-Cox, OT Le'Raven Clark, C Ryan Kelly, S Corey Moore, DT Hassan Ridgeway, TE Clive Walford and RB Jonathan Williams are inactive for Sunday's game in Jacksonville.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Marlon Mack (concussion) is expected to play Week 13 against the Jaguars.

Mack always looked on track to play after getting in a full practice Thursday. He struggled his last time out against the Jaguars, gaining just 29 yards on 12 carries, but script should work in his favor in this spot, making him a volume-based RB2.

Marlon Mack (concussion) is questionable for Week 13 against the Jaguars.

Mack has one more step to go before he clears the concussion protocol. We're guessing he'll be active for Sunday's game in Jacksonville after getting in a full practice on Thursday. Mack has settled in as a weekly RB2 in fantasy.

Updating an earlier report, Marlon Mack (concussion) was a full participant at Thursday's practice.

Mack has made a shockingly fast recovery from a concussion he suffered last week against Miami. He's now on track to play Sunday at Jacksonville. Mack struggled when these teams squared off in Week 10 (just 38 yards on 14 touches), but he'll still be in play as an RB2 for the final week of the fantasy regular season.

Marlon Mack (concussion) returned to Colts practice on Thursday.

Mack is now on track to suit up against the Jaguars, but it is not guaranteed he will gain final clearance. We should have a good idea as to Mack's Week 13 status by Friday.

Marlon Mack remains in the league's concussion protocol.

Mack had 15 carries for 85 yards before getting concussed last week against the Dolphins. The injury-prone back won't practice today and will be up against it to be ready to face the Jaguars. If Mack can't go, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins would figure to be ahead of Jonathan Williams for touches.

Marlon Mack was forced from Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a concussion and will not return.

Mack was ruled out late in the fourth quarter. He was having a strong game before going down, rushing 15 times for 85 yards while adding two receptions. He will have the full seven days to get cleared for Week 13 against the Bills. Jordan Wilkins would be the next man up on early downs.
Sun, Nov 25, 2018 07:09:00 PM

Marlon Mack rushed 16 times for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Week 11 win over the Titans, adding an eight-yard reception.

With the game a laugher from the early going, Mack ceded 10 touches to Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins. Mack has now turned in back-to-back pedestrian performances after the schedule tightened up with the Jaguars and Titans, but the Dolphins will provide a Week 12 breather. Matt Burke's defense has been straight up dismantled by the run of late. Mack will be a high-end RB2.
