Damion McIntosh is expected to start at left tackle when the Seahawks come out of their bye.
McIntosh would be the fourth different player to start at left tackle for the Seahawks this season. He was cut by the Chiefs before Week 1 and was just signed off the street by the Seahawks nine days ago. The offensive line is a big reason for the Seahawks' inconsistency. Seahawks signed OT Damion McIntosh, formerly of the Chiefs.

McIntosh visited Seattle a month ago just after the Chiefs unexpectedly cut him. Though he's clearly on the downside of his career, the Seahawks are desperate for tackle depth with Walter Jones, Sean Locklear, and Brandon Frye injured. McIntosh has starting experience at both left and right tackle.

Former Chiefs OT Damion McIntosh is en route to New Orleans for a free agent visit.

He left Seattle without a contract earlier this week. The 32-year-old would provide depth behind Jermon Bushrod and Zach Strief with New Orleans.

The Seahawks will host free agent OL Damion McIntosh on Tuesday.

McIntosh can play guard and both tackle spots, and is coming off a decent year, but may be falling off the cliff at age 32. The former Dolphin and Charger wasn't good enough to make a Chiefs line that's starved for help out of camp.

Chiefs released OT Damion McIntosh.

It's a little surprising. This Chiefs offense line is a total disaster. McIntosh is a veteran with a lot of experience so you know he must have been playing really poorly. It looks like Barry Richardson will be the starting right tackle, and you can be sure this unit will struggle this year. The Chiefs also cut OT Herb Taylor, C Eric Ghiaciuc and G Tavares Washington.

Chiefs beat writer Kent Babb observed that RT Damion McIntosh was beginning to "develop some rust" last season.

Babb had the right side of the offensive line high on the list of priorities this season, but the team did little to upgrade. For Matt Cassel's sake, the Chiefs better hope McIntosh and right guard Mike Goff have one more season of adequate play left.

The Chiefs' top offseason priority will be rebuilding their offensive line.

In an ideal world, Kansas City would move Damion McIntosh to the right side after drafting a new blind side tackle. If Michigan OT Jake Long is still there when the Chiefs are up at either No. 4 or 5, he'd seem a no-brainer pick.

Chiefs T Damion McIntosh was carted to the locker room with an undisclosed injury.

The Chiefs are already thin at tackle for the final two games, but he returned in the second half.

Coach Herm Edwards said Tuesday that Damion McIntosh is expected to play in Week 3.

McIntosh left Sunday's game with a knee injury, but later returned. "McIntosh will play," Edwards said. "His knee just got a little sore. It got hit on about two or three times."

Chiefs LT Damion McIntosh left Sunday's game in the first quarter, but was later able to return.

McIntosh was hampered by a knee injury throughout camp and struggled with his stamina during the opener. His play was intermittent and Will Svitek saw a lot of action. The Chiefs' line, with or without McIntosh, is quite poor.

Chiefs LT Damion McIntosh (knee) returned to practice Monday.

McIntosh is expected to play against the Texans this weekend and face RE Mario Williams. It's a good matchup for Super Mario in IDP leagues.

Chiefs T Damion McIntosh will return to practice on Monday.

The Chiefs hope McIntosh returns for Week 1 to guard DE Mario Williams, but he is still doubtful.

Chiefs LT Damion McIntosh is not expected to be ready for Week 1.

McIntosh, who is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery, will be replaced by NFL Europe veteran Will Svitek in the starting lineup. Expect Svitek to struggle against Texans right defensive end Mario Williams on opening day.

Chiefs left tackle Damion McIntosh underwent arthroscopic surgery on his sprained right knee Thursday.

McIntosh was initially expected to miss four-to-six weeks, but this won't help him get back on the field sooner than later. He's questionable for Week 1.

Chiefs LT Damion McIntosh will miss four-to-six weeks with a knee sprain.

He's questionable for Week 1's matchup against Houston. Will Svitek, who has appeared in one career game at tackle, will replace him. It's very bad news for the Chiefs' offense and likely opening-day starter Brodie Croyle.
