Nick Chubb rushed 20 times for 100 yards in Cleveland's gutsy Week 15 win over the Broncos.
Chubb's night was looking like a lost cause as he had run for merely 47 yards on his first 14 carries. He then exploded for a 40-yard sprint on the team's eventual game-winning drive, totaling 53 yards on that possession alone. Duke Johnson was oddly involved out of nowhere again, totaling eight touches behind Chubb. The rookie has ultimately handled 20-plus carries in four of his last six games, and will again be a volume-based RB1 in a juicy pivotal divisional matchup against the Bengals in Week 16. Nick Chubb rushed 13 times for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 14 win over the Panthers, adding four receptions for 17 additional yards.

Chubb would have cruised to another 100-yard day, but the Browns ran only 45 plays on an afternoon with weird game flow. The Browns also had some short drives due to huge plays in the passing/trick play department. Chubb will remain in the RB1 mix for Week 15 against the Broncos.
Dec 9 - 4:56 PM

Nick Chubb rushed nine times for 31 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes for 41 yards in Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Texans.

With the Browns falling behind by 23 points in the first half, Chubb received just 12 touches, his fewest in a game since taking over as the starting running back. Despite the circumstances of playing catchup, Chubb still managed to find the end zone for a 2-yard touchdown run in the second half and out-touched Duke Johnson 12-2 in the game. Chubb has worked his way into the top-portion of the weekly RB2 options and will once again be a starting option in Week 14 against the Panthers.
Dec 2 - 4:53 PM

Nick Chubb rushed 28 times for 84 yards with one touchdown while catching all three of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 12 win over the Bengals.

Chubb got the day started with a 1-yard score on the ground on the opening drive of the game. He then added a 14-yard touchdown catch to put the Browns ahead 28-0 in which he ran a wheel route and pinned the ball to the back of the defender for his second score of the game. Chubb now has scored in four of his five games as a starter. He will enter Week 13 as a high-end RB2 on the road against the Texans.
Nov 25 - 4:25 PM

Nick Chubb rushed 20 times for 176 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 10 win over the Falcons, adding three receptions for 33 additional yards and a second score.

Chubb was already having a big game before he took a stretch zone handoff from the Browns' own eight-yard line midway through the third quarter. Chubb hit the hole, received some nice blocking from Antonio Callaway and then out-ran the Falcons' entire defense for a 92-yard score. Chubb has more than justified the Browns' decision to trade Carlos Hyde, averaging 102 yards rushing in four games since becoming starter. He is a big-play machine who can handle big workloads. Chubb will be an RB1 against the Bengals when the Browns come off bye in Week 12.
Nov 11 - 4:10 PM

Nick Chubb rushed 22 times for 85 yards and a touchdown while catching his lone target for five yards in Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Chiefs.

Chubb ran hot in the first half while the Browns were in the game, rushing 14 times for 56 yards and a score in the first half. His long gain on the day was only 12 yards, but helped set up his own touchdown a 3-yard stop/start run where he picked out the correct hole. Chubb now has 18, 20 and 23 touches in his three games as the starting running back despite the Browns playing from behind in all three games. He still is partially a touchdown-dependent fantasy option since he has just three catches on the season, but Chubb's volume and big-play upside will keep him as a viable RB2 for the rest of the season. The Browns host the Falcons in Week 10.
Nov 4 - 5:29 PM

Nick Chubb rushed 18 times for 65 yards while catching 2-of-3 targets for 10 yards in Sunday's Week 8 loss to the Steelers.

Chubb started the day well, rushing 10 times for 53 yards in the first half including a 20-yard jaunt on the first drive of the game. The second half was a much different story as the Pittsburgh defense clamped Chubb to 12 yards on eight carries. The two receptions were Chubb's first of the season. Chubb finds himself in a similar position that Carlos Hyde; he's going to need to find the end zone to overcome his low-reception totals and the Browns consistently trailing. Chubb will enter Week 9 as a RB2 option at home against the Chiefs.
Oct 28 - 5:06 PM

Nick Chubb rushed 18 times for 80 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Buccaneers.

With the trade of Carlos Hyde on Friday, Chubb drew the start and out-touched Duke Johnson 18-to-5. Chubb saw two targets in the pass game, but neither one was catchable. After just 24 yards on eight carries in the first half, Chubb ran 10 times for 54 yards after the break. His touchdown was a 1-yard plunge after a pass interference in the end zone. Chubb is now firmly on the radar as an RB2 option for fantasy next week against the Steelers, but he will still be a touchdown dependent option most weeks just as Hyde was.
Oct 21 - 5:56 PM

Nick Chubb will start Week 7 against the Bucs.

With Carlos Hyde traded to Jacksonville, Chubb takes over as Cleveland's early-down back. This should be an upgrade for the Browns' run game, as Hyde was averaging just 3.4 YPC. Chubb has a blowup ROS outlook in a Baker Mayfield offense. He's an RB2 against a Bucs defense that will be without DT Gerald McCoy this week. Daily Slant: With Hyde being traded to the Jaguars, Chubb immediately becomes this week's cash game lock in DFS, as he is pretty much bare minimum on every site. He is also going to be extremely popular in tournaments, making Duke Johnson an interesting pivot at much lower ownership and a similar price.
Oct 19 - 3:32 PM

Speaking Monday, Browns coach Hue Jackson once again claimed he would work to get Nick Chubb more carries.

"We do need to get Nick Chubb more carries," was Jackson's exact quote. He said the same thing two weeks away and has proceeded to give Chubb the ball six times over the past two games. With Carlos Hyde averaging just 3.35 yards per carry, perhaps Jackson means it this time. Chubb remains worth holding in 12-team leagues.
Oct 15 - 2:45 PM

Nick Chubb rushed three times for 25 yards in Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Chargers.

Chubb once again showed off his explosion with a 19-yard scamper which would have been longer had there not been a holding downfield, but once again the Browns failed to use him in the game. Chubb has now carried the ball three times or less in every game this season. He is only a bench stash at this point and needs an injury to have fantasy relevancy.
Oct 14 - 5:24 PM

Nick Chubb rushed three times for two yards in Sunday's Week 5 win over the Ravens.

After the Cleveland staff spent most of the week suggesting Chubb's role would expand after turning three carries into 105 yards a week ago, he remained an afterthought in the game plan. Chubb is only a bench stash as Carlos Hyde has dominated backfield touches in Cleveland.
Oct 7 - 6:04 PM

Speaking Monday, Browns coach Hue Jackson said Nick Chubb "has to get some."

"(Carlos) Hyde is playing well, but this guy is scoring touchdowns from long ways away," Jackson said. "We have good backs. We know that. Sometimes it is going to be hit and miss where some other guy is making it happen and then the other guy goes in and does it." Chubb is a freak athlete big-play threat who could certainly change the pace for the better in the Browns' offense. It's still extremely unlikely he comes into standalone fantasy value as long as Hyde is healthy. Hyde, of course, has an extensive injury history. Chubb is a must stash in all formats.
Oct 2 - 3:45 PM

Nick Chubb rushed three times for 105 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' Week 4 loss to the Raiders.

He was not targeted in the passing game and got out-touched by Carlos Hyde 22 to 3, but Chubb made his workload count with two monster touchdown runs from 63 and 41 yards out. Plays like that are capable of earning Chubb more playing time going forward, although Chubb's to-date usage keeps him out of the flex-starter discussion. The Browns have stayed very committed to Hyde as their bellcow. Chubb is a handcuff until further notice.
Sep 30 - 8:45 PM

Nick Chubb rushed 14 times for 46 yards in Thursday's preseason game against the Eagles.

The No. 35 overall pick wasn't targeted in the passing game. Chubb got some run with the first-team offense, but the majority of his snaps came after the break. Chubb's only first half run was his most impressive, as he showed off his signature tackle-breaking ability on a pinballing 21-yard gain. Chubb could make a huge fantasy impact in 2018, but not without Carlos Hyde getting hurt. Considering Hyde's injury history, there's a real chance Chubb ends up getting run.
