Chargers released TE Kris Wilson.

The move saved another $765,000 in salary. The 30-year-old Wilson caught six passes all last season and was an unproductive member of the Bolts' special teams.

Chargers re-signed TE Kris Wilson to a two-year contract.

Wilson, who turns 29 before the season, caught just four passes for 28 yards and one touchdown last season. Also possessing H-back ability, he'll return as Antonio Gates' primary backup with Brandon Manumaleuna moving on.

Chargers declared TE Kris Wilson, third QB Charlie Whitehurst, CB Cletis Gordon, RB Michael Bennett, G Kynan Forney, OT Corey Clark, DE Luis Castillo, and DT Ian Scott inactive for Week 12.

Eagles released TE/FB Kris Wilson, LB Justin Roland, DT Montae Reagor, LB Andy Studebaker, and CB Kyle Arrington.

Studebaker will probably make it to the practice squad. Wilson couldn't beat out Brent Celek to back up L.J. Smith. Reagor may be at the end of the line.

Eagles signed FB/TE Kris Wilson, formerly of the Chiefs. Pro Football Talk hears that the deal is for three years.

Wilson played fullback in Kansas City, but will likely be a backup tight end in Philadelphia. This could cost Matt Schobel his roster spot. Wilson adds some pass catching ability, but isn't going to knock anyone around as a blocker.

Free agent TE/FB Kris Wilson is visiting the Eagles today.

The former second rounder was once seen as a dynasty sleeper, but he has likely missed his chance at fantasy relevance after reinventing himself as a fullback/H-back/tight-end hybrid.

The Bucs hosted free agent FB Kris Wilson for a visit last week.

Wilson, who is also on the Packers' radar, would be used as an H-back in Jon Gruden's West Coast scheme. He can play both fullback and tight end.

The Packers have expressed a "strong interest" in free agent FB/TE Kris Wilson, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Wilson is an H-back with pass catching ability, but doesn't do much else well. He'd likely help back up TE Donald Lee and FB Korey Hall in Green Bay.

The Chiefs aren't expected to make an effort to retain FB Kris Wilson after the season.

Wilson is being paid $510,000 this year, the final one on his rookie deal. The athletic but undersized H-back may be of interest to a team like the Rams, who value pass catching from their fullback. Wilson should come cheaply.

Kris Wilson caught three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown in Week 15.

Wilson caught a short pass and the bowled over three defenders to get into the end zone. He's not a fantasy option.
Sun, Dec 16, 2007 04:47:00 PM

Kris Wilson will play fullback full time this season.

Wilson became a fullback roughly midway through last season and added a new dimension to the Chiefs' offense. He should still have eligibility at tight end in fantasy and possibly be worth an occasional pickup in PPR leagues.

Kris Wilson caught two passes for 29 yards and added a two-point conversion in Kansas City's Wild Card round.

He's a player. Wilson made a number of athletic grabs down the stretch and would be a major fantasy sleeper if Tony Gonzalez left via free agency.
