Free agent CB Andre' Goodman is visiting the Titans on Tuesday.
It's Goodman's first visit since he was jettisoned by the Broncos last month. Goodman's play has declined sharply in recent seasons, but he'd likely be in the mix in the slot in Tennessee, and would provide veteran insurance for Jason McCourty and Alterraun Verner. Goodman's Titans visit comes one day before free agent Drayton Florence's. Tue, May 8, 2012 11:12:00 AM

Broncos released CB Andre' Goodman.

Denver's starting right corner for the past three seasons, Goodman was an easy cut due to a $4.62 million base salary and rapidly declining on-field performance. Going on age 34, Goodman was relentlessly torched in coverage last year, although Pro Football Focus graded him as an effective run-support corner. Still, Goodman may struggle to resurface before camp. The Broncos will move forward with Tracy Porter bookending Champ Bailey.

Broncos CB Andre' Goodman was forced from Sunday's game against the Bears with a concussion, and will not return.

Goodman joins SS Brian Dawkins (neck) on the sideline for the Broncos. Goodman didn't remain down for long after getting hit, but was clearly woozy as he walked off the field. He'll have to pass his baseline tests before he can resume practicing, and should initially be considered questionable for Week 15.

Broncos CB Andre' Goodman (quad) has been ruled out for Week 11.

Perrish Cox will fill in for Goodman. Malcom Floyd (questionable) should square off with Champ Bailey, leaving Patrick Crayton and Seyi Ajirotutu in favorable matchups. If Floyd is unable to go, upgrade Ajirotutu.

Broncos CB Andre' Goodman (quad) has been ruled out for Week 10.

Goodman has been dealing with a lingering quad injury since the beginning of the season. He has played only a handful of snaps since Week 2 and aggravated the injury in Week 8 before the Broncos' Week 9 bye. Perrish Cox is expected to return from a concussion this week and will replace Goodman in the lineup.

Broncos CB Andre Goodman lasted just four plays Sunday before leaving with his nagging right thigh injury.

Goodman started but quickly realized he was ineffective. Rookie Perrish Cox came on and was attacked by the Ravens.

Broncos declared CB Andre' Goodman, third QB Brady Quinn, FB Spencer Larsen, RB Knowshon Moreno, TE Richard Quinn, G/C Eric Olsen, T Chris Clark, and LB Wesley Woodyard inactive for Week 4 against the Titans.

Goodman (quadricep) was expected to return Week 4 despite being limited in practice throughout the week. His absence is a big loss for the Broncos, as rookie Perrish Cox, Goodman's Week 3 replacement, looked overwhelmed. T Ryan Harris and S Brian Dawkins will both be active.

Broncos RCB Andre' Goodman (quadricep) is expected to return in Week 4.

Perrish Cox took Goodman's place in Week 3 against the Colts and gave up a touchdown to undrafted rookie Blair White. Goodman's return is bad news for Justin Gage. Champ Bailey figures to cover Nate Washington and Kenny Britt, depending on the Titans' formation, for most of Sunday's game at LP Field.

The Denver Post speculates that RCB Andre' Goodman (thigh) has "the type of pulled muscle that requires time to heal."

The Post predicted that Champ Bailey, who is also dealing with an injury, has a better chance to play than Goodman. It's a bad time to have both of your cornerbacks banged up with Peyton Manning coming to town in Week 3. Check back for updates on Goodman's status.

Andre' Goodman left Sunday's game against the Seahawks with a thigh injury. His return is questionable.

Golden Tate registered a 52-yard reception against Goodman prior to the cornerback's injury.

Broncos RCB Andre Goodman was credited with four pass breakups Sunday against the Colts.

Despite the four red-zone touchdowns, the Broncos secondary played well, picking Peyton Manning three times. Goodman smothered the red-hot Pierre Garcon, holding him to just two receptions on nine targets.

Beat writer Frank Schwab thinks new Broncos CB Andre' Goodman could match the numbers he put up last year with the Dolphins.

Goodman had a career year in 2008, picking off five passes and breaking up 19 at age 31. He'll be tested a ton this season playing across from Champ Bailey, so duplicating those numbers wouldn't be that shocking at all.

Broncos signed CB Andre' Goodman to a five-year, $25 million contract. The deal includes $10 million in guarantees.

Goodman played well his last two seasons as a Dolphin and picked off five passes in 2008, but the average age of Denver's projected starting DBs (Goodman, Champ Bailey, Brian Dawkins, Renaldo Hill) will be 32 on opening day. None of the four is under 30. The Broncos' secondary couldn't be much worse than it was last season, but it's significantly older.

Free agent CB Andre' Goodman has signed a multi-year contract with the Broncos, according to the National Football Post.

We'll wait for ex-Denver beat writer Adam Schefter to confirm. Goodman is turning 31 and coming off a career year. The Broncos' secondary looks old.

Free agent CB Andre Goodman has visits scheduled with the Broncos Saturday and the Browns on Sunday.

Two former Bill Belichick assistants are doing battle over the same player. Goodman, who is turning 31, is coming off a career-best season as a starter. He won't come at the same price as the younger corners like Domonique Foxworth that have already signed.
