The Raiders will start Tony Pashos at right tackle in Week 1 at Indy.

Pashos, 33, was signed four days ago. From left to right, Oakland's Week 1 front five will read LT Khalif Barnes, LG Lucas Nix, C Stefen Wisniewski, RG Mike Brisiel, and RT Pashos. This is the worst offensive line in the league.

Raiders agreed to terms with OT Tony Pashos, formerly of the Redskins.

Among the Redskins' final cuts, Pashos missed all of 2012 with a left foot injury. He's made 70 career starts, the majority of which have come at right tackle. Pashos was serviceable in 12 games for the Browns in 2011, but turned 33 earlier this month. In any other scenario, he wouldn't be a candidate to start — let alone at left tackle — but nothing is off the table in Oakland.

Redskins waived/released OT Tony Pashos, OT Xavier Nixon, LB Vic So'oto, and DE Chigbo Anonuby.

Pashos and Jeremy Trueblood couldn't beat out Tyler Polumbus at right tackle. Nixon was an undrafted free agent out of Florida.

Redskins signed OT Tony Pashos.

Washington and Pashos had been talking over the weekend, but they've finalized the deal. The 32-year-old was out of football last season due to a left foot injury, and he could be a fallback plan if the team fails to re-sign free agent RT Tyler Polumbus. If nothing else, he's solid veteran depth.

The Redskins are "finalizing" a deal for free agent OT Tony Pashos.

The eight-year veteran spent 2012 on the street as he recovered from "ruptured" ligaments in his left foot. Pashos would be cheap, experienced depth for a team with a hole at right tackle.

Free agent OT Tony Pashos' (foot surgery) agent expects him to "return to full strength this season."

Pashos was given a 9-10 month recovery timeline following his March operation, and his rep says his rehab is going "as expected." One month shy of his 32nd birthday, Pashos won't be available until the second half of the season, if at all.

Browns released/failed physical RT Tony Pashos.

Per agent Rick Smith, Pashos is "really upset" about the move after playing the entire season with a ruptured peroneus longus tendon that ultimately required surgery on his left foot. "Tony feels like he had the team's back last season," said Smith. "He wishes the team had his back now." Due $3.35 million in 2012, Pashos will instead collect $1M in injury protection. The 31-year-old has been given a 9-10 month timetable for rehab, leaving him no market for his services.

Browns RT Tony Pashos underwent ankle surgery on Tuesday.

It may have been a scope, but Pashos can't afford any red flags if he wants to keep his $3.35 million salary with the Browns. Most likely, he won't. Pashos has been an injury-prone, ineffective right tackle throughout his Cleveland tenure.

Browns RT Tony Pashos' roster spot is in jeopardy this offseason.

Pashos is due $3.35 million in 2012 after missing 14 games in his first two seasons with the Browns. Coach Pat Shurmur has plenty of respect for Pashos battling the injuries, but conceded "we'll have to see how it goes" this offseason.

Browns RT Tony Pashos sustained a right knee injury in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Texans and did not return.

Pashos was replaced by Artis Hicks on the right side of a crumbling Browns' offensive line. Colt McCoy has been sacked 12 times in the last three games.

Browns RT Tony Pashos (ankle) has worked with the first-team offense in practices this week.

If he's ready to go by Sunday, Pashos should be an immediate upgrade at right tackle. The two players at the bottom of Pro Football Focus' pass blocking efficiency for offensive tackles are Oniel Cousins and Artis Hicks, Pashos' fill-ins over the first three weeks.

Browns RT Tony Pashos (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Pashos was expected to be back this week, but apparently couldn't get loose enough in warmups. Artis Hicks will start at right tackle and rotate with Oniel Cousins for the third straight week. It's not a great development for Montario Hardesty.

Browns RT Tony Pashos (ankle) will try to play against the Dolphins this week.

The Browns desperately need Pashos back as Oniel Cousins is a liability on the edge. While Pashos isn't anything close to a stud, he's a better option than the immobile Cousins.

Browns RT Tony Pashos (ankle) will not play in Week 2.

Immobile Oniel Cousins will get the nod at right tackle, meaning he'll square off with ultra-athletic Colts LE Robert Mathis. It's a severe mismatch. The Browns' offense may make the Indy defense look passable this week, but don't buy the results long term. The Browns would be smart to attack the Colts with heavy doses of Peyton Hillis, as opposed to 40 more pass attempts.
