Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs said he wants to play "for a few more years."
Suggs turned 35 in October, but he showed no signs of slowing down, recording 11 sacks and playing solid against the run this season. Only owed a $4 million base salary, the Ravens will also be happy for Suggs to return, although the two sides could look to do an extension as the pass rusher enters the final year of his contract. Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs had offseason surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow.

Suggs was cleared for the start of training camp, so this is for bookeeping purposes. He told reporters he considered this offseason one of the best of his 15-year career. Suggs is signed through 2019 at $13 million.

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome confirmed OLB Terrell Suggs is expected back for a 15th season in 2017.

The No. 10 overall pick of the 2003 draft is recovering from a torn biceps, but remained an effective player in 2016. He appeared in 15 games after being limited to one appearance in 2015 by a torn Achilles'. Suggs turns 35 in October.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs will undergo surgery to repair a torn biceps.

Suggs suffered the injury in October but only missed one game. Even playing hurt, Suggs was still one of the better outside linebackers in football this year, particularly against the run. He should be ready in time for training camp.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs says he will play in 2017.

"I was always planning to come back and doing this another year," Suggs said. Even coming off an Achilles' tear at 34-years-old, Suggs has recorded eight sacks in 14 games and consistently applied pressure to the quarterback. The Ravens certainly need to add some youth at outside linebacker, but they will be happy to see Suggs return next year.

Terrell Suggs (biceps) returned to practice on Tuesday.

The Ravens are on bye this week but Suggs' return to practice suggests he'll be ready for Week 9 against Pittsburgh. A torn biceps sidelined him last week against the Jets. Za'Darius Smith filled in for Suggs at right outside linebacker.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Terrell Suggs (biceps) is unlikely to play against the Jets in Week 7.

He suffered a torn bicep late in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Suggs has played through bicep tears before but it looks like the Ravens aren't going to take any chances, especially with the bye coming up in Week 8. Za'Darius Smith will be a candidate to fill in at outside linebacker.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports Terrell Suggs suffered a torn biceps tendon Week 6 against the Giants.

Suggs suffered the injury in the fourth quarter. He said after the game that he's "fine," but if the report is true, Suggs' status would be in doubt. Most of the time, a torn biceps is a season-ender, but Suggs suffered the injury in 2012 and played through it. The Ravens have been hit hard by injuries.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles') was removed from the active/PUP list Monday.

He is expected to participate in practice, but it is likely he will be limited in his first work since tearing his Achilles' Week 1 of last season. Suggs is just one year removed from a 12-sack season. A return to that kind of form would be a big boost for the Ravens' defense.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs (PUP, Achilles') is expected to resume practicing soon.

"I'm holding him back right now," coach John Harbaugh said. "He'll be out there soon practicing. How much we play him (in the preseason) remains to be seen." Suggs is unlikely to get any exhibition reps, but barring a setback, he sounds fully on track for Week 1.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs (PUP, Achilles') said he is "close" to where he wants to be in his recovery.

"I can't be timid, but I've got to be smart," Suggs said. "It won't be long before I'll be off of it and out there practicing with the guys." With Elvis Dumervil (foot) also on the PUP to open camp, the Ravens should take it slow with their aging rushers. Suggs will be 34 in October, but he is just a year removed from a 12-sack season.

Ravens placed OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles') on the active/PUP list.

It's an expected move. Suggs will likely sit out the entire preseason and is questionable for Week 1. Elvis Dumervil (foot) also opened training camp on PUP.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh believes OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles') has a "real chance" to be ready for a regular season, but that it's not a guarantee.

Harbaugh said Suggs was "looking good" in his recovery, but didn't get any more expansive. Sidelined since early last September, Suggs will probably sit out the entire preseason before returning on a snap count in the opener.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor traffic charges stemming from a one-car accident on March 5 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Suggs was charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to notify authorities after striking a fixture. Suggs said after the incident he "may have fallen asleep" before allegedly crashing into a wall. Both charges are minor. Suggs is currently recovering from a September Achilles' tear. He is expected to be ready for Week 1.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs has been charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to notify authorities after striking a fixture in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Arizona doesn't play around. The two charges are misdemeanors and stem from a single-car accident two weeks ago when Suggs said he "may have fallen asleep" and crashed into a wall. He recovered and drove himself to a restaurant where police later detained and booked him at jail. Suggs was quickly released from custody but now could face an NFL suspension.
