Ex-Titans LB Keith Bulluck will officially retire from the NFL on Friday.
Bulluck started 130 games for the Titans from 2000-09, racking up 1,265 tackles and 19 interceptions. Collecting All-Pro honors three times, Bulluck was a perennial leader on Jeff Fisher's physical Titans clubs of the past decade. He can expect to be inducted into the Titans' ring of honor. Former Giants and Titans LB Keith Bulluck said Wednesday that he is comfortable retiring after an 11-year career.

Bulluck was out of football in 2011, despite rumors linking him to the Lions. "A year removed, I really have no interest in coming back to play," he said. "I am comfortable with the position I am in. I had closure." Bulluck spent ten years with the Titans and 2010 with the Giants. Now 35, Bulluck was a one-time Pro Bowler (2003) and likely earned a spot in the Titans' Ring of Honor.

The Detroit Free Press considers free agent OLB Keith Bulluck a likely target for the Lions.

Bulluck has expressed interest in reuniting with Jim Schwartz, and his addition would allow the Lions to keep DeAndre Levy at middle linebacker. Bulluck could play the weak side with Bobby Carpenter at SAM. It'd be an unimpressive linebacker corps on paper, but a potentially dominant front four will make the second level of Detroit's defense look much better regardless.

Free agent LB Keith Bulluck is interested in re-signing with the Giants, but only if he's promised a role on passing downs.

"I don't have to be an every-down player," said Bulluck, "but I need to play to my strengths and that's the passing downs." The 34-year-old realizes he won't be a priority signing for any team. We suspect the Giants will let him walk, in which case the Lions may be his best chance of staying in a starting role.

Free agent LB Keith Bulluck told Sirius NFL Radio Monday that he has three teams he'd like to continue his career with: the Lions, Patriots, and Giants.

The Giants and Patriots are obvious contenders, and Bulluck has close ties to Lions head coach Jim Schwartz from their time together in Tennessee. The Pats are not a likely landing spot for the 34-year-old, who has never played in a 3-4 defense. Detroit makes plenty of sense with an outside linebacker need.

Free agent SLB Keith Bulluck is unlikely to re-sign with the Giants, according to Scouts Inc.'s Matt Williamson.

The Giants have him pegged as a part-time player at age 34, but Bulluck is reluctant to accept his limitations. Run-stuffer Jonathan Goff is solid in the middle and Michael Boley is strong against the pass on the weak side, but the Giants need to pick up a strong-side backer to replace Bulluck. Clint Sintim has been unreliable to date.

Impending free agent LB Keith Bulluck said Monday that he is not willing to settle for a backup or part-time role in 2011.

"(A full-time role is) the only way I’m playing football next year," he said. Bulluck, who turns 34 in April, played only on early downs in his lone season with the Giants, and apparently didn't like it. He finished with 30 tackles in 13 games, and will be hard pressed to find an every-down job in 2011.

As expected, Giants SLB Keith Bulluck (turf toe) will participate in Thursday's practice.

Bulluck has missed the last three games with turf toe. He was close to being able to play last week and appears to have a good chance of suiting up in Week 7.

Giants SLB Keith Bulluck (toe) returned to individual drills Wednesday and hopes to practice fully on Thursday.

Bulluck said he expects to play Sunday, but it's not clear if the Giants feel the same way. He's missed the last two games with a case of turf toe.

Giants SLB Keith Bulluck will miss a second straight game with a case of turf toe.

Fill-in Clint Sintim will see plenty of action with the Texans likely to feature Arian Foster and the ground attack against the Giants.

Giants SLB Keith Bulluck (toe) is listed as doubtful for Week 4.

Clint Sintim will draw the start. Bulluck has been playing effectively in run defense, so his loss should give Matt Forte a slightly easier go of it on Sunday. The Giants' run stopping overall has been inconsistent early on.

Keith Bulluck has overtaken Clint Sintim to be the Giants' starting strong-side linebacker.

The Giants will count on Bulluck as an every-down player, replacing MLB Jonathan Goff in nickel situations. Proceed with caution with Bulluck at age 33 coming off a torn ACL, but he's got some sleeper appeal in IDP leagues.

The Giants have to decided to move Keith Bulluck (knee) back outside after all.

Bulluck was told Monday "to forget about playing the middle," in effect cementing Jonathan Goff as the starting middle linebacker. Bulluck is likely ticketed for the strong side, but he may not be ready to push Clint Sintim for the starting job just yet.

Giants LB Keith Bulluck (knee) will make his preseason debut Saturday against the Steelers.

Coach Tom Coughlin confirmed that SS Kenny Phillips will do the same. Bulluck has been ticketed to start at middle linebacker since signing on July 24, but has yet to see extensive action with New York's first-team defense.

Keith Bulluck said his surgically repaired knee feels "scary good" after his first week of practice with the Giants.

Bulluck is still limited to one practice per day with the second team, but he insists he's ready for game action right now. We're still not convinced he'll start at middle linebacker in Week 1 with Jonathan Goff showing well in practices.
