Steelers TE John Gilmore is not assured of a roster spot.

Gilmore was signed earlier this month to serve as a blocking specialist behind Heath Miller, but is apparently battling both undrafted rookie Weslye Saunders and second-year pro Jamie McCoy for a roster spot. A load at 6-foot-6, 273 pounds, Saunders is a better bet than McCoy to beat out Gilmore.
