Free agent DL Bryan Robinson says he's open to playing another season in the NFL.
"I'm a healthy guy," said Robinson, who turned 37 a month ago. "We'll see what happens." Robinson has played 14 seasons in the NFL, 10 as a starter. He finished 71st of 77 in Pro Football Focus' defensive tackle ratings last season, however, and 2010 first-round pick Dan Williams is ready for a bigger role. Mon, Jul 18, 2011 04:50:00 PM

Cardinals NT Bryan Robinson is expected to retire this offseason.

Cardinals FS Kerry Rhodes broke the news on Twitter after Friday's practice. Robinson, a 14-year veteran, was a major success story as a former undrafted free agent out of Fresno State. A starter for 11 years with the Bears and Cards, Robinson will finish his career with 24 sacks and six forced fumbles.

Cardinals re-signed DL Bryan Robinson to a one-year contract.

The Cards appeared to move on from Robinson by drafting Dan Williams, but the 36-year-old is a veteran of the system and can play both end and nose. A starter the last three years in Arizona, Robinson will now be in a fight just to make the team. He'll have to outplay Keilen Dykes and Jeremy Clark.

Free agent DL Bryan Robinson is not expected to be re-signed now that the Cardinals have added NT Dan Williams.

Robinson turns 36 years old this summer, and the Cardinals are ready to turn the page at nose tackle. Robinson has drawn little interest on the open market and may be forced to retire.

The player rep for free agent DL Bryan Robinson says his client wants to re-sign with Arizona, but is set to hit the open market.

Though Robinson has been a steady performer on the nose, the reality is the front office may be ready to move on from the 36-year-old (in June). The Cards may plan to rotate Gabe Watson and Alan Branch on the interior in 2010.

Bryan Robinson is expected to enter training camp as the Cardinals' starting nose tackle.

Arizona would prefer Gabe Watson or Alan Branch win the job, but Watson is dealing with ongoing knee woes and Branch is shaping up as a bust. Robinson, 35, started almost all last year, recording 20 tackles and a sack.

Cardinals signed DL Bryan Robinson, formerly of the Bengals.

Robinson was used at tackle some in Cincinnati, but will play end in the Cards' 3-4. He gives them much needed depth at that position behind starters Darnell Dockett and Antonio Smith. Robinson had 20 tackles last season.

Bengals DE Bryan Robinson is not expected to return to the team next season.

Robinson cleaned out his locker before the actual end of the season and was asking teammates to sign footballs for him, so it's hardly a surprise. The Bengals continue to inch towards becoming a 3-4 defense.

Bryan Robinson and Justin Smith are currently projected to be the Bengals' starting defensive ends this season.

Robert Geathers is penciled in as a third end, which will keep him fresh and focused on his pass-rush duties. Robinson can also play inside.

Bryan Robinson is projected to start at defensive end this season.

Robinson played tackle last season. He'll take over for Robert Geathers, who is expected to play primarily on passing downs. No Bengals defensive lineman should have much IDP value in 2006.

The Bengals will get DT Bryan Robinson and DE Carl Powell back next week.

The two players are key reasons why the Bengals have struggled on defense in recent weeks. They aren't stars, but shore up the team's rush defense signficantly.
