Former Broncos and Bengals LB Nate Webster was indicted in June on seven counts of sex crimes for alleged improper sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl.

Webster was just recently arrested. A nine-year veteran, Webster is now 33 years old. He last spent the 2008 season with the Broncos, making 76 tackles and two sacks as the team's starting linebacker. He never resurfaced after that.

The Broncos are expected to allow MLB Nate Webster to leave via free agency this offseason.

Webster's Denver career was mostly an injury-plagued disappointment since signing in 2006. With the Broncos' lack of inside linebackers, there's talk of D.J. Williams moving back to the middle in the expected 3-4 defense.

Broncos MLB Nate Webster (knee) is expected to resume playing this week.

Before spraining his MCL in Week 10, Webster was averaging eight tackles a game and had two sacks. Still, he won't help Denver's run defense much.

Broncos LB Nate Webster (knee) could be a full participant in practice this week according to Mike Shanahan.

Shanahan did not say for certain whether Webster would start in place of Spencer Larsen if healthy. He also said LB D.J. Williams (knee) could practice, although Webster is further along. Williams won't play in Week 13.

Broncos MLB Nate Webster is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a strained MCL, the same injury that D.J. Williams suffered the week before.

Niko Koutouvides will fill in as the Broncos go with an all-reserve linebacking unit for the next three games.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said Nate Webster's injury was a second-degree sprain in the MCL of his left knee.

Webster thought it was the "same thing D.J. [Williams] got," and he will have an MRI Friday. The Broncos have lost all three starting linebackers in successive weeks and will likely be starting Jamie Winborn, Wesley Woodyard, and Niko Koutouvides for the next couple of games.

Broncos MLB Nate Webster limped off the field during the first quarter of Thursday's game.

The Broncos confirmed that Nate Webster has won their competition at middle linebacker over Niko Koutouvides.

Denver's run defense will again be a favorable fantasy matchup. D.J. Williams should often be the Broncos' first linebacker to the ball, but Webster has 100-tackle potential at MIKE. Koutouvides will focus on special teams.

The Broncos listed Nate Webster as their starting middle linebacker on the preliminary depth chart of training camp.

This battle will be determined in preseason play, but Webster has the early edge because of his experience. Koutouvides is not out of the hunt.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan says LB Nate Webster has had one of the best offseasons he's ever been around.

Webster is going to make it interesting with Niko Koutouvides in their bout for the starting middle linebacker gig. The winner will be a big IDP sleeper.

Nate Webster has been seeing first-team reps at middle linebacker during Broncos Organized Team Activities.

Niko Koutouvides isn't going to be handed to the starting job. Koutouvides is limited athletically and Webster has more experience in the defense. This will be a training camp competition to keep track of in IDP leagues.

Nate Webster will be Denver's starting strong-side linebacker this year.

Webster also could get a crack in the middle if the D.J. Williams experiment doesn't go as planned. He shouldn't be much of an IDP playing the SAM spot.
