Legendary CB Deion Sanders led the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2011 class on Saturday.
Joining him in the Hall will be RB Marshall Faulk, TE Shannon Sharpe, DE Richard Dent, LB Chris Hanburger, LB Les Richter and NFL Films founder Ed Sabol. One of the most gifted athletes in the history of American sports, "Neon Deion" was a six-time All Pro, two-time Super Bowl champion and 1994 Defensive Player of the Year. His 53 interceptions are 23rd all time. He was also amongst the most explosive returners in league history, taking six punts to the house, tied for eighth all time. In addition to his NFL career, he spent nine years patrolling the outfield for four Major League Baseball teams. Sat, Feb 5, 2011 07:31:00 PM

Deion Sanders has admitted to cheating while at Florida State.

"I cheated in college, but not off you Mooch," Deion said Saturday night during the NFL Network's pre-game show. Sanders may have meant it as a joke, but it was odd timing for such a revelation. "Mooch" is co-host Steve Mariucci.

Deion Sanders announced Monday that he's retiring again.

While it was a nice story for a season, Sanders was an injury-prone liability in his second year back with the Ravens. He'll enter Canton with Jerome Bettis in five years.

Deion Sanders left Baltimore yesterday without officially retiring. But Sanders' locker was completely empty, and the nameplate above it was taken down.

He should return to broadcasting next year.

CB Deion Sanders may have played the final game of his 14-year NFL career Sunday.

There was speculation that this would be it for Deion before the game and he said afterward that he'll address the situation later in the week.

CB Deion Sanders is receiving criticism from the media in Baltimore, but coach Brian Billick said he made just two mistakes in the 17 snaps he played Sunday.

''Deion played a solid game,'' Billick said. ''He had a busted coverage with Chad Williams one time where there was miscommunication. And he had one physical error where he set a little high and got beat. Outside of that, he played pretty well.''

CB Deion Sanders (thigh) was surprised when told he was listed as questionable on the injury report.

Deion Sanders forced and recovered a fumble on a sack of Michael Vick Saturday.

The Ravens are using him a ton to blitz. As nickel backs go, Sanders is likely to make a lot of noise this year. He had two sacks in a scrimmage last week.

Deion Sanders recorded two sacks in 12 passing plays during a scrimmage versus the Washington Redskins.

Sanders is playing in the slot, rather than the outside this year. Baltimore held Washington to 25 offensive yards in 15 plays. On paper, their defense is better than ever this season.

Deion Sanders didn't fail a steroids test last year.

He probably just wanted to be back in the news. Sanders was tested weekly last season because he stopped taking drug tests when he failed to show up the Redskins in 2000. By league rules, that meant he was subject to stricter testing if he ever returned to the NFL.

Deion Sanders was screened weekly for steroids last season.

Apparently it was due to a missed test while he was still with the Redskins, though Sanders thought it was because he'd tested positive. It's interesting how something like this could be covered up for so long. We wouldn't be surprised to see more of these stories pop up as Steroid Watch 2005 continues.

Deion Sanders is expected to attend Ravens minicamp Tuesday.

He missed Monday's workout because of personal reasons. It's doubtful Sanders' toe is healthy enough for him to practice fully.

Ravens signed Deion Sanders to a one-year, $1.5 million contract.

He passed his physical today. Sanders, who will play nickel back in the Ravens secondary, should double his salary with incentives if he stays healthy.

It's possible Deion Sanders won't sign with the Ravens this week because he's not medically cleared to play yet.

He is still recovering from toe surgery. ''Man, I don't know,'' Sanders said when asked if he was going to receive medical clearance. ''I wish I did know. Pray for me.'' Our prayers our with you Deion.
