Bengals re-signed CB Adam Jones to a three-year contract.
"Pacman" was one of the 3-4 best cornerbacks left on the market. Jones made it clear he was seeking top dollar, but he's getting it from the team that helped save his career. He drew heavy interest during the "legal tampering" period. Going on 33, Jones was one of the league's best corners last season, though his devastating penalty in the Wild Card round helped send the Bengals home early. Even as a tenured veteran, Jones remains a high-risk, high-reward player. Mar 9 - 6:57 PM

The Jets have dropped out of the running for free agent CB Adam Jones.

This leaves the Dolphins, Vikings, Ravens, and Browns as teams known to have reached out to Jones since the negotiating period began. Jones seems set to leave Cincinnati after playing a major role in the club's January meltdown.

The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports free agent CB Adam Jones and Dolphins DC Vance Joseph "are tight."

Joseph joined the Dolphins this offseason after serving as the Bengals' DBs coach the last two years. Jones' market has been hot to this point, but his connection with Joseph could give Miami the upper hand. Jones has also been linked with the Vikings, Jets, Ravens and Browns.

ESPN's Ben Goessling reports the Vikings contacted free agent CB Adam Jones on Monday.

Jones' market has been hot, with the Vikings, Jets, Dolphins, Ravens, and Browns all linked since the tampering window opened. Jones played for Vikings coach Mike Zimmer in Cincinnati along with free agent safeties George Iloka and Reggie Nelson. Minnesota also reportedly contacted Iloka's and Nelson's representatives, but it is difficult to see the Vikings investing at the top of the safety market after giving starter money to Andrew Sendejo over the weekend.

A source told the Miami Herald the Dolphins "have a legitimate chance" to land free agent CB Adam Jones.

Jones is tight with new Dolphins DC Vance Joseph, who coached defensive backs in Cincinnati when Jones played there. Other reports have linked Jones to the Ravens and Browns. In Miami, Jones would take over as the Dolphins' starter opposite Byron Maxwell. Brent Grimes has been informed of his release.

PFT's Mike Florio reports the Ravens are interested in free agent CB Adam Jones.

Jones has also drawn interest from the Browns and Dolphins since the "legal tampering" period opened Monday afternoon. Jones is entering his age-33 season, but has enjoyed plenty of success the past couple years in Cincinnati. He's looking to cash in one more time. Baltimore is desperate for cornerback help after its secondary was picked apart much of last season.
Mar 7 - 8:11 PM

The Browns have expressed interest in free agent CB Adam Jones.

"Pacman" knows new Cleveland coach Hue Jackson from the Bengals' coaching staff. Joe Haden had a concussion-ruined 2015, while RCB Tramon Williams is coming off a mostly-solid year. Jones was the Bengals' best cornerback in 2016, but he is going on age 33 and was involved in the club's playoff meltdown.
Mar 7 - 5:46 PM

Free agent CB Pacman Jones expects to draw interest from the Dolphins.

Jones is connecting the same dots as everyone else, as the Dolphins hired Bengals DBs coach Vance Joseph as defensive coordinator. "I would think V.J. would be interested," Jones said. "He's taught me a lot and he knows I know everything in the system. He knows I'm a football guy. If I'm a betting man, I would think he'd try to bring me in there." Yahoo's Charles Robinson has reported the Cowboys could also be interested. Jones would be an excellent fit for the Dolphins, who had one of the league's worst secondaries in 2015.

Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson reports the Cowboys could be eyeing free agent CB Adam Jones as a replacement if they release Brandon Carr.

Owner Jerry Jones has already admitted Carr is a release candidate, made obvious by his $13.8 million cap number. Jones is far more effective, and would possibly come cheaper than Carr's currently scheduled $9.1 million salary. However, Jones has indicated he'll go to the highest bidder, and cornerbacks have gotten paid in recent years. Jones is near the top of a thin free agent crop.
Mar 1 - 7:28 PM

Free agent CB Adam Jones is open to playing for any team.

"I’m pretty much open as long as we got a good chance of winning," Jones said. It's only notable because Jones isn't throwing any bouquets the Bengals' way. Director of player personnel Duke Tobin has said the Bengals are interested in keeping Jones. Per PFT, the Dolphins, Raiders, Cowboys, Browns and Vikings could all have interest.
Mar 1 - 2:29 PM

Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin said the team is interested in re-signing impending free agent CB Adam Jones.

With several key pieces set to hit free agency, the Bengals are looking at a makeover in their secondary. Jones will turn 33 in September, but he has showed no signs of slowing down. A short-term deal could work for both sides.
Feb 25 - 11:47 AM

The Miami Herald expects the Dolphins to target free agent CB Adam Jones.

Jones played under DC Vance Joseph the last two years. He would provide a short-term starting option opposite Brent Grimes. Free agent FS Reggie Nelson could also be a fit for Miami.
Jan 30 - 9:17 PM

Impending free agent CB Adam Jones said he wants to return to Cincinnati, but the two sides have not been talking.

Jones likely did his chances of returning significant harm when he picked up an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty which moved the Steelers into range for a game-winning field goal in the Bengals' Wild Card loss. Jones played well when healthy this season, however, and has been solid in six seasons with the Bengals. Entering his age-33 season, any deal Jones gets will be short term.

Bengals RCB Adam Jones (foot) is probable for Week 15 against the 49ers.

Jones was in a walking boot at one point last week, but he returned to practice Thursday and will play against San Francisco. SCB Leon Hall (back) is also probable, but S George Iloka (groin) will not suit up.

Bengals RCB Adam Jones (foot) returned to practice Thursday.

He will likely be listed as limited, but it is a step in the correct direction for the Bengals' banged-up secondary. Jones should still be considered questionable for this week against the 49ers. S George Iloka (groin) remains sidelined.
