ABC Cincinnati reports Bengals CB Pacman Jones was arrested for disorderly conduct Monday morning.

Unbelievable. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jones was the passenger in a car where the driver was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Jones apparently then made a fuss and was charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. It's the second time he's been arrested in the past four months, and coupled with his infamous history, surely has him in line for a league-mandated suspension. Jones is the Bengals' nickel back. Dre Kirkpatrick is fourth on the depth chart.

The 911 tape from the woman accusing Pacman Jones of assault has been released.

Jones claims he was hit in the head with a beer bottle after declining to take a picture with two women. Shannon Wesley has a different version of the events. "He was harassing my friend and saying derogatory things towards my friend and I stood up for them and he called me a b**** and he punched me in my head," she said on the tape. Pacman has pleaded not guilty.

Bengals CB Pacman Jones pleaded not guilty Tuesday to an assault charge.

The charge stems from a weekend incident in which Pacman says he was hit in the head with a beer bottle. He claims he turned around and slapped the assailant, who turned out to be a woman. The NFL has confirmed that they're aware of the incident and will review it at the appropriate time. If any charges stick, Pacman is looking at a long suspension due to his off-field history.

Bengals CB Pacman Jones has been charged with one count of assault after allegedly punching a female outside of a Cincinnati bar near Great American Ballpark.

Jones' agent claims Pacman was standing outside the bar on Wednesday night after a Reds-Rockies game. Two women attempted to take their picture with him, and Pacman said no "because he’s married and the last thing he wants is a picture with two women showing up on Twitter or something." The agent claims Jones was then hit with a bottle on the head from only a few feet away. "He turns around and immediately slaps the person," explained agent Peter Schaffer. "He has no idea what’s going on or who threw the bottle."

Bengals CB Pacman Jones tweeted he was arrested Monday morning for "protecting (himself)."

According to Pacman's attorney, he's been arrested in a "travesty of justice." Per Pacman's version of events, he was approached by two intoxicated women at a Cincinnati Reds game who threw a bottle of beer at him after getting their picture taken. Jones then slapped one of the women in a move he apparently deemed self-defense. It's bad, bad news for one of the poster boys of misbehaving athletes, and regardless of whether or not Pacman was "protecting himself," it's likely endangered his roster spot. He'll also be in line for a lengthy suspension.

Bengals CB Pacman Jones is "in doubt" for the remainder of the offseason program after suffering a calf injury last week.

The Cincinnati Enquirer speculates Pacman could miss the remainder of OTAs and minicamp, but he should be ready for training camp. The Bengals are currently running with Terence Newman and Brandon Ghee at cornerback as Jones, Leon Hall and Dre Kirkpatrick all recover from minor injuries.

Bengals re-signed CB Pacman Jones to a three-year contract.

Jones quietly had an excellent season in 2012, grading out as the best corner in the Bengals' No. 7 secondary. He'll be 30 in September, but shouldn't have a problem sustaining a high level of play as the No. 3 man behind starters Leon Hall and Dre Kirkpatrick. Jones also contributes in the return game, where he ranked seventh in the league at 11.6 yards per punt return last year.

A source tells that both sides are "working hard" to re-sign free agent CB Pacman Jones.

Jones has attracted no known interest from the outside on the open market. It's not a surprise thanks to his checkered off-field history and advancing age (30 in September). Jones did grade out as the Bengals' best corner last year, well ahead of Terence Newman and Leon Hall.
Thu, Mar 21, 2013 09:36:00 AM reports Cincinnati would like to re-sign free agent CB Pacman Jones, and that the sides will meet at the Combine.

The Bengals gambled on Jones three years ago and were rewarded with his first productive season in over half a decade in 2012. Going on 30, Pacman is going to want to get paid, but there's every reason to believe he'll be more valuable to the Bengals than anyone else.

The Cincinnati Enquirer expects the Bengals to work hard to re-sign free agent CBs Pacman Jones and Terence Newman.

This puts the Enquirer in agreement with Both Jones and Newman proved to be surprisingly effective in 2012, while the Bengals would have vanishingly little veteran depth at corner if they were allowed to walk. The price should be right for both players.

Bengals CB Pacman Jones exited Saturday's Wild Card game with a left hamstring injury and was deemed doubtful to return.

It's a big in-game loss for Cincinnati, which utilizes Jones at right cornerback on all passing downs with Leon Hall moving inside to the slot. Jones was covering Andre Johnson for most of the game. Jones, 29 years old and in a contract year, has quietly had a solid season as the Bengals' nickel corner.

Bengals RCB Pacman Jones (hamstring) was a late addition to the Week 16 injury report and is listed as questionable for Week 16.

Pacman was officially listed as "limited" in Friday's practice, hinting at an in-practice injury. It appears he'll be a game-time decision against the Steelers. Jones has quietly been one of the primary reasons for Cincinnati's second-half defensive surge. His absence would upgrade Mike Wallace's matchup.

Pacman Jones was forced from the Bengals' Week 10 game against the Giants with a left calf injury, and will not return.

Pacman departed late in the fourth quarter. Operating as the Bengals' No. 3/4 corner this season, Jones entered Week 10 with 11 tackles and zero picks. He's likely day-to-day.

Pacman Jones is entering training camp squarely on the roster bubble.

Jones battled a hamstring injury during OTAs and hasn't been able to stay healthy the last four seasons. He'll face competition from Brandon Ghee, Terence Newman, and Jason Allen for the Bengals' nickel corner job.
